INFORMATION
Read section and form descriptions.
The “about yourself”, “character personality”, and “RP sample” sections are going to be extremely important in determining whether or not you’re accepted, so don’t take them lightly.
You’re encouraged to place your character information somewhere else for safekeeping, such as on a separate Google Doc.
Send the blog any questions you have regarding number of applicants at any point in time, application ratios (such as AFAB:AMAB), confusion on a certain question, etc.
GENERAL APPLICATIONS
These applications will be continuous, and will rarely ever close. However, for the first week of them being open, most applicants will be accepted within 2 days or less. On Thursday, November 21st and onwards, your application may be pending from anywhere to a day to a month.
You will not be contacted that your application was rejected unless the mod would like to encourage you to apply again and make improvements.
You will be able to make your character be a warrior, apprentice, or monarch. Warriors are heavily preferred, as apprentices have a limited number of slots. You will also be encouraged to submit three characters. Please:
do not submit a character you already have in case you drop said character or are removed from the RP in the future (AKA, please create a new character)
while not required, submitting three diverse characters can help boost your chances of being accepted. While I can’t guarantee it, most Warriors roleplays that allow for LGBT characters have a high amount of AFAB characters, with a lot of transmasc and very few transfem from my experience. This causes an imbalance in AGABs, making mating for kits harder and some AFAB characters to be turned down. Please take this into high consideration if you’d like a character to most likely get in.

UNWANTED GIFTS
OPEN APPLICATIONS!
Unwanted Gifts is a Warrior Cats roleplay hosted over Discord. It follows the story of three clans: RushClan, WillowClan, and The Gifted, as they attempt to settle dispute after dispute over the most supernatural occurrence to the history of the clans: the birth of cats with powers.
That’s right, this roleplay features the ability to RP as cats with natural born powers! In the Discord Server we utilize a Physical Stat system, along with dice rolling to create fair attacks within battles. If your cat is granted with a power, you will have Special Stats that correlate with your character’s level, and their special abilities.
No one knows why these cats began being born with abilities beyond a normal cat’s comprehension, and no one knows what to do about it. RushClan and WillowClan, once the only two clans occupying the territory, took drastically diverging paths, leading to the eventual creation of The Gifted.
APPLICATIONS FOR WILLOWCLAN ARE OPEN!
WillowClan has always been regarded as odd. Their cats are violent, quickest to initiate killing skirmishes at borders (One must never patrol the WillowClan border alone, you never know when a roving pack of violent apprentices seeking some poor cat to test their mettle on will be passing by….) but ever since the power-born cats have arrived in their clan, their ways have only gotten bloodier.
You will be able to create an entirely new character for WillowClan to roleplay as! Only the rank of Warriors without powers are open, but you will have a chance of being selected as deputy, and you can create a secondary character of another rank in another round of applications.
APPLICATIONS FOR THE GIFTED ARE OPEN!
The Gifted are a ragtag group of cats who stand directly opposed to everything RushClan ever believed. Their group is relatively new, only having begun when a small group of exiled RushClan cats created a new clan of their own. They have a much larger population of power-born cats than the other clans, with the majority having a power of some sort. The Gifted also has a large amount of members who are former rogues and kittypets. Fennel, one of the current leaders, is a former kittypet.
You will be able to apply for any adoptable cat for The Gifted to roleplay as! References to these cats can be found in the Allegiances page on the blog, and small tidbits of backstory on each of the cats are on the applications. Changes such as AFAB/AMAB, sexuality, gender, and backstory can be made in-RP.

Lights and Shades - Open Applications
A city without twolegs is left only to nature’s course- and that of the rogue cats.
Lights and Shades takes place in a somewhat post-apocalyptic city, vacant of any humans. Although it’s often filthy, overrun with bugs, rot, bile, and other such things, it acts as a home to two newfound clans of rogue cats and former kittypets. Some of these cats have even developed odd mutations due to the state of the area.
These cats aren’t all that’s out there though- queens and elders spread myths and rumors of beasts- called “blackbeasts” in the north and “brightbeasts” in the south- to the kits.
But that’s just a queen’s tale, isn’t it?

Open Applications!
Lights and Shades will have open applications from late November 3, 2018 to late November 10, 2018! Both The North and South are open, with around 20 cats total to choose from! (Note: an announcement will be made if we reach a high amount of applications before this period ends.)
Keep in mind that this roleplay is hosted on Discord and runs on an adoption feature, meaning each cat comes with a pre-made design, name, and family to help you get started and meet the other members (though names and designs can be somewhat altered upon joining)!

Based off of the hit Skype-based roleplay, Rivers Divided, Broken Skies has an adoption feature, meaning that you apply for pre-made cats. These cats all come with names, designs, families, etc. to help you get to know other members much easier.
