The Minority Connection Initiative is an independent student group at Boston University that serves to bridge the gap between minority undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty and alumni at BU. Join us this Monday at 12:15 for a Rodney Lecture from Professor Ibrahim Sundial - 232 Bay State Rd, room 505. The lecture will be on "Trump, Oil and Jesse:  African Americans and the Lure of Black Gold."

Ibrahim K. Sundiata is an American scholar of West African and African-American history. He received his undergraduate education at Ohio Wesleyan University (B.A., 1966), and a Ph.D. (1972) at Northwestern University, where he studied under Ivor Wilks. He is currently the Samuel J. and Augusta Spector Professor of History and African and African-American Studies at Brandeis University.
