This kid came in looking for drumsticks bc they want to learn how to play drums and they were telling me about the movies they’ve seen and the music they listen to and etc that inspired them and then they saw my pin and they were like “omg it’s chica:)” and we probably could have kept talking about fnaf i felt it coming but their mom was like ok come on time to go. And well that’s ok bc internally i was gripping the counter like “you don’t need to mention brooks wackerman ok reel it in before you get started”. They told me about a song that 17 minutes long and I almost said “that’s badass” and I had to catch myself and say “really awesome” instead those are nowhere near the same emotion
