in regards to breeding pacers, you may have some questions about the existence of trams and trolleybuses
whilst initially these may seem to be similar to the pacers, they are actually a result of domestication (with trolleybuses being buses bred for their trainlike aspects and trams being trains bred for their buslike aspects) and due to this they wre actually capable of bearing offspring unlike the pacer
in a similar vein are rubber tired metro systems and bendybuses however these are actually a case of natural selection and environmental adaptation help the species fill a niche role in the local ecosystem

as far as i can tell thats the fault of mostly robert urie as cme of the lswr and a man called alfred weeks szlumper who had a most dastardly moustache
growing up I often heard tales of the Third Rail (the rail on the subway that kills you instantly if you fall in and touch it). Is this a thing beyond the nyc subway? (The widespread scary bedtime story not the third rail)
It exists in Chicago, Boston and maybe San Francisco, I haven't checked for every city, but I know it's in those 2 or 3
