"If you fell down, it would be bad luck, right?"
Isn’t it amazing how, despite the fact that Izuku is literally "falling down" on his knees at that moment, he remembers the first thing Ochako ever told him when they first met?
"It would be bad luck if you fell down, right?"
Although he is falling down physically at that moment, it’s the complete opposite emotionally speaking. He feels like he’s been put on his feet once again after a long time and he finally allows himself to cry his heart out.
It’s as if Ochako just told him "It’s okay, you can fall down and we’ll catch you. Allow yourself to let go."
No matter what anyone says about this chapter or Ochako, I love this moment with all of my heart.
On a sidenote, wouldn’t it be crazy if this moment in the anime is accompanied by the song "hero too" but instead the lyrics are changed to
"Human too, You are a human too
My heart is set (my heart is set) and I won't back down
Hero too, strength doesn't make a hero
True heroes (true heroes) are just like any of us
So wait and see"
Idk, maybe it’s a silly idea but that song came up in my mind right away.
