Dwarf Hamsters

Dwarf hamsters are becoming more and more popular as pets. There are four types of these small animals. They are the Campbell’s, Roborovski (sometimes called robo dwarf hamsters), Winter Whites, and Chinese hamsters. The Campbell’s and the Winter White Russian dwarf hamster reach a length of about 8-10 cm. and live between 1.5-2.5 years. The Chinese hamster grows to a size of about 10-12 cm. and has a lifespan of 2.5-3.0 years. The Roborovski only reaches a diminutive 4-5 cm. and live about 3.0-3.5 years. These dwarfs are social animals and when bred together will raise a family together.
