Our recent Extra Denim release has been met with an overwhelming amount of love and support, leaving us pleasantly surprised by the outcome and the overflow of interest. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for helping to make this item truly stand out.
Beyond just style and fits, Extra Denim serves a multitude of purposes that extend beneath the surface of the final product. It's quite uncommon to witness denim manufacturing from a Black perspective, and this is something worth acknowledging the absence of. The way Black people wear denim is distinctly different from others; from how we treat them to how they complement our appearance, there's a significant cultural nuance at play.
Extra Denim pays homage to the Black wearer and the evolution of our involvement in the denim conversation. From the classic 501 fit to our exploration of brands like double RL as our financial status evolved, Black Americana denim has had its own narrative since the beginning.
More than just a nostalgic nod, Extra Denim serves as a testament to a familiar feeling and aesthetic that has always been a part of our culture. It stands as a testament to our presence in the conversation, a presence that should have been recognized & respected long ago.
While our current stock is sold out, we're pleased to announce that starting tomorrow, we will be fulfilling pending backorders and restocking all sizes.
We sincerely appreciate your patience and anticipate that Extra Denim will continue to be a staple in every season to come.
