Fitness in todays age is hard to comprehend. There is so much information online that it seems impossible to know where to start and have a simple plan. Social media has further exacerbated this problem. People posting weird quirky workouts+fancy supplements to get attention but didn’t actually achieve their results doing and using these things. The basics that have worked for years are no longer preached because the ingredients of getting in shape aren’t fancy and popular. This has lead to a lot of wasted time for not just me but lots of people out there following the trends and advice of influencers, social media and the internet. It’s like building a house and instead of focusing on building a strong foundation you focus on the fancy decor and additions. In fitness all these little fancy exercises and pre workouts and tips and tricks don’t matter if you don’t have the meat and potatoes. Getting the body you want is super simple and deep down you know what to do. Balanced eating habits, simple workout program and resting your body. Forget everything else and focus on the basics and watch your physique change for real. Discipline and consistency is what we need. Not a quick crash diet or six pack ab workout. Patience and loving your body and loving the process is what we need.
