[Hey guys, so I’ve been a little all over the place the past month or so, but my new blog is nearly up and running;
I’m going to be approaching people with who I have thread with at the moment to try and keep them or start anew on the other blog before I archive this one next month or so.
However, my activity will be slow on the new blog for the next month because at the beginning of this week, my parents and I were informed that we need to find a new house because the owners wanted theirs back so we’re all packing up and moving before the end of next month]

[Hey guys and gals, so basically these past two weeks have been rather hellish for me,
During this, I’ve been debating about deleting my blogs, but I honestly don’t think I could deal with losing my little crew of misfits on this blog; so instead I’m merging my two blogs together before deleting/archiving this blog.
I have a number of threads going on this blog which I would like to continue or start over...... if any of my RP partners would like to continue our threads would you let me know?
My new blog is fatesdesign and I’ll be there for the next week or so; there will also be a number of reminders until this blog is gone
Happy New Year everyone xx ]

“Aye, that she is. Beautiful and cruel.” Harriet mused, stepping closer until she was beside the young warlock. Harriet tried her best to avoid the Sanderson women. Winifred in particular was just as power mad and manic as Maleficent and it was likely only the fear of the dragon’s dormant power that kept the witches relatively compliant. William, however, wasn’t so bad. Besides, anyone who could appreciate the sea was alright in Harriet’s book.
“Ya ever wonder if yer da’s a merman?” It’s partially a joke but…well, Harriet knows that kids like her and William, with parents that’re either dead or in Auradon or both…they wonder about things like this. She shrugs after a moment. “My ma’s a mermaid. A’ leas’, tha’s wha’ Smee told me all me life.”
William was surprised, but hid it well, when Harriet stepped up next to him, he knew that everyone on the Isle tried to avoid his family and him even though he had never really done anything to earn the avoidance of his peers. Although maybe the potions that he slipped into a few people foods when they had annoyed him too much was a cause to avoid him and his rare ire.
Tumblr media
‘Do you wonder if your da is a merman?’
Sarah Sanderson wasn’t subtle when it came to trying to avoid telling William about his father, and his Aunt would just spit slurs about the man that her sister had disappeared with to have him, but Will had learnt some bits and pieces about the man who helped create him.
“My Da is a sailor in Seaside” He informs her, he had heard his mother mutter how alike he was to his father one day after Will had gotten ill because of the salt he ingested during a small swim he had in safe-ish waters, although Will had never learnt whether or not his father knew about him which was something he actually held a little disdain for his mother over. “Ma said once that that’s why I love the sea, it’s in my blood”
“Do you believe him?”

cursed-rcse:
“Does water hurt you?” She asked, confused. Emily knew next to nothing about witches and warlocks, so it was a shock to hear that water was a possible weakness to them.
Closing her eyes to listen to his song, she felt strange. Almost like a subtle pull. Emily wasn’t a child anymore, and there was no magic around here, but from one magical person to the next, there was something there.
Once he finished, she opened her eyes and nodded. “I don’t know how effective it would be to children, and off the Isle, but I definitely felt a tiny something.” She said honestly. “See? You do have a little bit of magic inside you, and it’ll only get stronger if we ever get out of here.”
William smiles a little sadly at the question as he looks out at the ocean, it wasn’t common knowledge about his families weakness on the isle, but salt acted like a barrier of sorts against the four Sanderson’s, even though his bloodline was diluted by a human sailor. It hurt and irritated them if salt was thrown at them and it was even worse when the salt water of the sea washed over him. “Sea water is irritating and does cause some pain if I’m in the water too long”
He nods, a little bit of pride and happiness washed over him now that he knew there was magic in his voice when he sang. “If that’s the case for me then it should definitely be the case for you”

Of bloody course, what should she have expected?
A scowl of frustration as Madison awkwardly got herself into a more comfortable position, hands gripping at the net, glaring down at the De Noir. He must be a De Noir, to have such an attitude, to - to have warned her of them, he must have knowledge of them. If being in this brat’s presence was what Madison needed to gain information it was a sacrifice worth making. “I doubt you have the ability to shut your mouth anyway, that’s why I can smell your breath from here - there must be so many dead flies gathering in that large gob of yours.”
Maybe not her best approach.
“Now, would you let me down, please?”
Tumblr media
“Aw princess you wound me” Harry mock pouts as he clutches his hand over his heart, but he couldn’t wipe the smirk off his face as he leaned up against a tree and just watched her dangle in the net that he had hoped held something he and his crew could eat, but he would just have to accept that she was the one he had to deal with today.
“Why would I let down such a mean girl? After all, you’ve done nothing but insult me” Harry muses as he pushes himself off the tree and begins to circle the net that held her, eyeing her clothes as well as searching for any sign that he could have caught something else too; why she wore such weird dresses, he didn’t know, but he didn’t understand fashion anyway. It was his sister who helped him out half the time, before she ran away anyway. “hurts me feelings ya know”
He stops in front of her and crosses his arms across his chest as he gazes up at her.
Tumblr media
“What’s in it for me if I let you out?”

“Someone messin’ with ya, Jefferson? Ya know I’m more ‘n happy t’ give ou’ a few…warnin’s t’ people givin’ ya a hard time.” Harriet likes to fancy herself a fairly honest woman - as far as pirates go, anyway. Jefferson has never given Harriet reason to harm him and is of more use on her side than against him. As far as the eldest daughter of Hook is concerned? The Mad Hatter was an ally; and Harriet doesn’t take lightly to threats being made against her allies.
Jefferson moves to find her father’s finished hat and Harriet steps closer to the counter, digging around in her coat pockets for the tin of tea her father had given her for the man’s payment. His next question catches Harriet slightly off-guard, brows furrowing in confusion. What…style? Hadn’t he already said the hat was ready? His meaning finally sinks in - the question being meant for Harriet and not for her father - and the young captain frowns in reply. “Come off it, Jefferson, we ‘ave a deal. An’ a hat fer me weren’t part o’f it. I’ve no tea t’ pay ya with.”
Rolling his eyes lightly, Jefferson couldn’t stop the twitch of his lips in amusement at the young pirates willingness to show his troublesome customers some humility at the end of her sword; this was why he would be more than willing to make her a hat that she wished for, free of charge. He knew that she tried to keep people from causing him trouble or from damaging his property so it was only fair that he paid her back in some way. “It’s not something I can’t handle little pirate, don’t worry about it, but you have my gratitude for the offer”
Carefully picking out the hat from the box he had stored it in, he places the head ware onto the counter to make the trade and eyes her as she frowns and then dismisses the idea of getting a hat made by him because she was not part of the deal he had made with her father.
“Your father provides me with enough tea when he trades it for his own hat, just like many others provide me with enough food that I don’t need to leave my store so often; however young Harriet, you have often offered to keep my store safe and I know that you have ignored me from time to time about leaving the idiots of the isle alone after they have bothered me” Jefferson tells her as he holds his hand out for the tin of tea “you have done more than enough to warrant me making a hat, and by making you one then I can also get more business from wannabe pirates that are diluded into thinking they can become as strong as you”

“I realized that when the lass didn’t return,” Killian agreed. “I received a letter about a month before arriving here. She spoke of finding a way in but not knowing if she could make it out. And if I did not hear from her in the given amount of time, I was to find you. I don’t like this anymore than you do, lad,” the pirate said as he watched the distress on Jefferson’s face. If the stories Alice told him were true. it was not a place he would be keen to return to either.
He could understand the fear of being left behind and not able to return. “I know the laws of traveling through realms – only as many can leave as did arrive. Having Alice return with us makes that complicated. But I give you my word as a captain and as a sailor that I will not leave you behind. No one deserves that once, let alone twice.”
Killian had passed into Wonderland once before. He knew how cruel Cora could be and what she could do to people that crossed her. If her apprentices were anything has she was – he could not leave an innocent man there to suffer it.
The only thing that Jefferson originally caught was the fact that the man had called him ‘lad’ which caused him to snort and then begin chuckling at the humour of the title but also because of the corner that he was being backed into.
He cared for Alice, she was someone who he had met in one of his darkest times and brought some semblance of sanity back to him but he currently hated her with his entire being for going back to that hell and leading the pirate to him to try and get her back, it wouldn’t just be Alice that they would be bringing back, if she was successful then she would demand that they brought Cyrus back also which meant an even bigger chance of them failing in getting back to his daughter once again.
“This is fan-bloody-tastic” Jefferson growls out before throwing the scissors he had hidden, across the room so hard that they embedded themselves into the wall opposite him before he slammed his hand down on the table and clenched it into a fist; trying to calm himself before he attacked the pirate.
“Don’t call me lad” he breathes out as he closes his eyes “I’m probably just as old as you pirate”
Jefferson opens his eyes as he reigns in the madness and looks over at the pirate cautiously “There would be four of us returning, not three, if Alice found Cyrus then she will demand that he comes home too which also means that we’ll have more issues to face if I was to aid you in your quest”

“Yes, well, the life of a royal isn’t always exciting, especially when you’re trapped in a castle most of the day. Having to sit through dinners with other important people is even worse. I’d rather sit through dinner trying to converse with a pebble.” It gets lonely. With a shrug, the younger pushed open the door and slipped through, the door leading them through to an old kitchen that hadn’t been in use since a small fire had erupted within one of the ovens. The passage way had been a secret between Eric and Melody but Harry didn’t seem to be going anywhere, so a shared secret it was.
Waits until Harry heads inside before locking the door and hiding the key away.
“Melody should be back. S'pose you’re off to find her now, then.”
Harry could understand what Eric and Mels went through to some degree, being the son and second child to a former villainous pirate captain meant that there were often meetings on the docks or in the chip shoppe that he had to attend along with Harriet because it was expected of them, Harriet was expected to marry to make a bond between clans stronger and even though Hook hated his son with a passion, he was supposed to take over the bait shop as well as mantle for the head of the pirates; that was until Harriet became a captain and then Harry was expected to marry and his sister expected to be the head of the docks. “I can understand tha feelin” he mutters as he tries to shake off the memories and bitterness of the Isle.
Tumblr media
The pirate gives the Prince a blank look before shaking his head and rolling his eyes, he places his hand on the boys shoulder and starts to guide them towards Eric’s room
“Yer sister can wait kid, I ain’ gonna le’ you go off alone af'er tha scare” He informs the boy firmly, he remembered when CJ had gone through a similar experience and the Hook family nearly lost her after they left her alone and the salt water left in her lungs nearly killed her and it didn’t help that Eric may have hit his head.
“Either I stay, or yer ‘rents learn abou’ the swim, got me?”

The look in his sisters eyes was something Harry was used to seeing and often held the same glimmer of menace and danger, but Harry could also see the slight appreciation as she glance between the two boys and their captives.
But Harry couldn’t help but scowl at his older sister, she was the only person outside of his crew that Harry would do anything for, and yet she was somehow keeping a level head in the face of someone trying to hurt her. That thought caused him to tighten his grip on the man in his arms once again as he pressed the dagger into his neck a little harder, drawing more blood as the man whimpers.
Tumblr media
“He tried ta hur’ ya ‘arriet” Harry growls out at the idea of leaving them alive, he had a feeling that the guy in Gils hold was most likely still alive but would be nothing more than a drooling mess considering how little air he was able to get into his lungs, he didn’t want to let them have a chance at getting away, but the idea of ol’ Croc eating up the idiots made the malicious side of him flare a little more. Weirdly the croc seemed to like Harry so he could probably make sure that they got eaten rather than saved by their crew.
“Fine, bu’ I’m gonna make sure ol’ croc ge’s his chance to eat em, rather than leave i’ ta chance, let their crew race to save em”
@breakingthchabit from [X]
Tumblr media
It wasn’t like Harriet doesn’t appreciate Harry and Gil having her back. She knows that, as far as pirates go, the crews of the Silver Serpent and the Lost Revenge were as close as allies could be. Which was useful in terms of a fight. But things were getting out of hand now.
Not that Harriet is opposed to spilling blood. Enjoys it, even. She IS the daughter of a man who once shot a crew member purely because he was tired of the man’s singing. But they sent more of a message if they left the codfish alive. They’d know who’s mercy they were under - and who would not hesitate to slash a dagger should they be crossed again.
“Ya’d be DAFT t’ slit a hundred throats instead o’ makin’ an example o’ two,” Harriet remarks firmly, sword still angled at the man her brother held. Eyes flick over to Diana and Gil, wondering briefly if the man in Gil’s burly arms was unconscious or worse. Not like it mattered to Harriet. A smirk crosses her lips, that mad Hook glimmer reflecting in her eyes as she glanced back at her brother. “I say…Da’s ol’ scooner needs some redecoratin’. What say we tie these codfish t’ the mizzenmast…their weight’ll ge’ tha’ ol’ wa’erlogged wreck t’ sink even faster…an’ if their crew don’ get ‘em, then the tides will.” A pause, a conceding shrug. “Or th’ ol’ croc. Sure he’d LOVE another bite o’ codfish.”

Dizzy smiled when he playfully messed up her hair, going to flatten it back out when he was finished. She started swinging her legs, just concentrating on that until Jefferson spoke again. He said it so quietly, so she barely even heard him, but she shook her head in response.
“Tea and cookies is enough, Mr. Hatter. You don’t need to make me anything else.” Dizzy had a horrible feeling that she was disturbing him, and that maybe coming here was a huge mistake. She wanted to be away from her family right now, and she had no where else to go, but it was late and she felt like now she was only becoming more of a burden. However, those thoughts were kept to herself, because she wouldn’t want Jefferson to have to protest over that.
Jefferson blinked as she spoke to him and turned his attention back to her before noticing the smile and the innocent swinging of her legs, his mind drifts back to the same image but of a different girl in Dizzys place many years ago which made him close his eyes and take a breath before opening them and smiling at her softly.
“I don’t need too but I want too Diz” he tells her firmly, he was still speaking quietly but at least he wasn’t muttering it to himself this time “Food is something people often trade for my wares here so I have more than enough and I want to make sure that you are okay” he pauses for a moment in consideration, he knew that her staying was dangerous but if he warned her of the chance of an episode then he could maybe convince her to stay in the room he had made up for her until he went to get her.
“I need you to do something for me tonight Dizzy” he tells her firmly as he places the stuff in his hands down and moves to stand in front of her so that he had her full attention on him “There is a very high chance that I may have an episode tonight, usually I can’t feel them coming but I know the signs. I want you to stay in your room, you need to go to sleep and ignore whatever happens, I know I won’t hurt you but I can’t risk the likely hood of going too far to realise who you are. Can you do that for me?”
He didn’t know what he would do if she said no or if she decided to disobey him, but he knew that he wouldn’t let her disappear or get away with putting herself at risk if she did say no or leave the room.

“Couldn’t ask for a better first mate,” Killian agreed. When Milah had died, Smee had stepped up and helped a grieving Killian take care of his son. And when they were banished to the Isle, he had done everything in his power to make sure Harry had everything he needed to grow up strong and healthy despite the way the Isle tried to beat them down. No child deserved to grow up in such a place, but at least Killian and Smee tried to make the most of it for Harry.
“Perhaps one day y’will return to the Roger and prove to be an even stronger one,” the Captain suggested, though he knew his son’s loyalty was to Uma and her crew. Killian could not deny that he was a touch proud of his son’s loyalty. It was a trait not many on the Isle had.
Harry’s skin wasn’t warm but it was enough that his father felt he should rest. The amount of sea water his boy had more than likely drank would be murder on the body and it was hard to tell when it would leave his system. “Probably th’salt from th’sea, lad,” Killian nodded his head. “Eat some of the food – it may burn but it’ll help.”
Smee was probably the closest thing he had to a second parent, the first mate was so loyal to his father that he had stuck by him even when he was thrown in this hell hole, and due to that loyalty, he was always the person that Harry would go too with issues that he didn’t want his father to know about; the red hatted man would either help him with his issues or convince him to drop his stubbornness and go to his father. The teen owed a lot to the first mate and was genuinely surprised that the man had yet to come down and see how he was or scold him for getting into trouble in the first place. “surprised he ain’ been down ‘ere yet”
That was wishful thinking on his fathers part, Harry knew that his father wished for him to take over being Captain when he was old enough to keep the family legacy going, but Harry was happy enough as Uma’s first mate at this time, she dealt with the issues that needed patience and he dealt with the hostility and fights alongside Gil; it was an agreement that they worked out well. “Probably won’ happen” Harry points out “No’ unless Uma betrayed me or somethin, and even then it would 'ave ta be bad”
At least he wasn’t being pestered again, he knew that the salt water in his body was dangerous but he often disliked having so much attention on him when he was ill so his father backing off a little bit made Harry relax slightly. “You eaten today?” He questions raising an eyebrow at his father, while Harry was hurting, he also knew he wouldn’t be able to eat too much of the food because since he left the Jolly Roger, his food in take had decreased so his portions were usually smaller than what his father was used to seeing him eat; so turning the attention off of him by offering some to his father would hopefully work to his advantage.
