as you may know, israel has begun its ground operation in rafah. they dropped leaflets last night ordering people to evacuate, and bombing in east rafah has already begun.
The border is about to become unreachable.
Rafah is trapped.

Before the October, she co-owned a boutique with her brother. She shared outfits and accessories on her Instagram.

My beautiful child died because of the war. R I P
My first child died due to lack of food, and now my wife is pregnant, and I hope you will save her so that she can be born in a safe place..
My child was one year old. He could not bear hunger and thirst. He began to suffer from dehydration in his little body. Until the disease worsened and he was unable to breastfeed from his mother because his mother suffered from malnutrition
My child lay in the hospital for three days in difficult conditions.
The hospital did not have a bed for patients. My child slept on the floor and could not bear it and died because of the war
My child was very beautiful and always loved to laugh and play. I remember in October, two days before the war, it was his first birthday
I am so sad because I will miss my baby
I always see the pictures of my child that I take on my phone and cry every day
I cry every day for my child who died.
My wife is pregnant with my second child, and I hope you will help me leave the Rafah area. We are being bombed every day.
This morning 17 people died next to my tent, and I'm afraid for my family

Hani is less than half-way to his goal, and urgently needs to evacuate his family. Hani's house was destroyed on October 13th, and since then, his family has been displaced, living in tents.
On September 15th, his father lost his life due to the attack on Al-Shifa Hospital. Because of this terrible injustice, Hani is now the only hope for saving his family - which consists of 10 members: his sisters (which includes two toddlers: a 2 and 3 year old), 3 minors, and his 18-year-old brother.
Hani currently lives in Belgium. He left Gaza for Italy to represent Palestine in a skate competition - but his life has been completely transformed since then. He lost his father, his home, and now he is in constant fear that he will lose the rest of his family. At 23 years old, this is one of the most stressful positions a person could ever be in.
Help Hani's family survive by donating to their evacuation fund. The smallest donation will make the biggest difference. We can all pitch in. If you cannot donate, you should absolutely spread the word.

Brazil is going through one of the worst climatic crisis ever seen.
i live in the southernmost state, Rio Grande do Sul. we have been suffering from extreme, nonstop rainstorms for a week now. the rivers are flooding, reaching 4-6 meters above their natural level. people are being rescued by helicopters, neighborhoods are being evacuated. entire cities are slowly but surely becoming submerged in water. 60 people missing and counting. 32 deaths and counting.
and this is not new. last november also had a flood like this one. 50 dead, many material losses. it happened again this january, with thousands being left without power or water for days.
three catastrophical disasters within less than a year. three disasters only a few months apart.
this is not natural.
unsustainable agricultural practices and politics led to this. a complete disregard for nature led to this. greed led to this. always greed.
when it comes to the climate crisis, i cannot stress this enough: we need to act now if we still want to live. disasters like this are going to happen more often and they're going to be much, much worse. this flood is being considered the worst climatic catastrophe in the history of my state. i don't know how long it will take for another bigger one to happen and take its place. i just know it will be sooner than it should.
