ʜᴇᴀᴅᴄᴀɴᴏɴ.
unknown to sonic, he does actually have (living) biological family aside from chuck.he’s always assumed his parents were killed, never pressed chuck on it after asking one time when he was a young hog.
sonic has two siblings, manic and sonia. both have matching medallions to his guitar one. chuck knows of this, along with knowing their mother. he’s been sworn to life secrecy on the matter, for everybody’s safety and it crushes him.

🌑: does your muse have nightmares? if so, how often?
yes, and far more frequent than he’d like to admit. this ‘hog has been though a lot and every event plauges his dreams. sometimes they’d be scenearios of loosing friends or his uncle (wether it be literal loosing, death, or an argument gone bad). as of recent, loosing his freedom once again is horrifying to him. he’ll have dreams of being stuck in that cell again, reliving everything. none of his friends know and he’d hate to admit it– but he’s too scared to.
🌈: what your muse’s hopes and dreams?
freedom. to be free of eggman’s constant plans to take over the world; for life to just be ‘normal’, whatever ‘normal’ was. he was too young to truly remember what life was like back then. aside from that; sonic has multiple smaller goals. some are to open up more, improve his mental health, learn to bake, to be able to take care of plants, start a band with his friends, focus more on music in general, and to just be true to himself.
☀️: is your muse an optimist, a pessimist, or somewhere in between?
he’s an optimist, through and through. however, as he’s grown older, the naive optimism has fallen, leaving him with realism and pessimism. he doesn’t like it, but it gives him a more realistic and mature outlook (which was much needed).

this got a bit long so it’s under the cut!
🌃: does your muse prefer to live in rural areas, suburban areas, urban areas, or something else entirely?
sonic doesn’t own anywhere to live, aside from a shack in green hill where he goes when he really needs space. as long as theres enough room to run, it’s safe, and there’s something to do, he’s chill with it. however, he does prefer areas with at least some population (he can’t stand being alone for too long, it makes him itch). he also has a need for nature to be nearby– even if he can run to nature, it’s always best to be surrounded by it; so rural!
🍀: does your muse believe in luck or fate?
to some degree, yes. a lot of things he’s done is down to just dumb luck. sonic’s also a big believe in “all things happen for a reason”, thinking in the way of ‘if X didn’t happen, Y wouldn’t of happened, meaning that Z wouldn’t of happened. X was bad but Z was good’. however, he's not dumb and knows when things come down to skill (and you'll know about it! watch out for that ego!)
😍: what was your muse’s first love like?
surprising to some, sonic has yet to actually have a ‘first love’, if we exclude chilli dogs and running. sonic is very hesitant to open up that far with somebody– plus he’d be terrified of eggman finding out and using them as a ‘weakness’ against him.
☔: what does your muse do on a rainy day?
sonic may hate water, but he loves rain. if it’s a light drizzle, he’d go out for a jog to feel the rain on his quills and a cool breeze. if it’s cold and torrential, he’ll get himself a warm drink and take a moment to just… relax. even though sonic almost always feels the need to be constantly on the go, he does have a soft spot for watching rain fall and listening to it (until he gets bore and impatient and his friends have to come to the rescue).

“—!” Her eyes widen, irises shifting until it was almost white as her throat constricted, cutting her airways as her steps retreat. Aria could feel her body trembling; but she was calm. Was it from— “I…” Answer!
Crisp zephyrs detect her distress from the way they abruptly pick up, causing several stars of dive from the ascending galactic heaven frantically. Their hymns are distorted in her ear drums, forming a barrier while blooming a flaring scarlet as if to warn him not to approach her.
“Valsk’a!”
Almost immediately do the angered radiances divide. Few would rush to her side while another cluster would approach him, flickering several hues before settling navy and lingering by his side. Aria struggles to remain her composure as she stands; yet never moving to place considerable distance between the two. “I apologize for that. I hadn’t realized my chastity activated for a moment. My name is Aer, but you can call me Aria. Who are you?”
you’d think that when you came to a hidden cabin house in the middle of nowhere, laying on a hammok... that you’d be free from random, unexplainable things happening to you. well, apparently not. glowing, flickering things radiated with a threatening red— making him move back and almost fall from his hammok. his mood? far worse. at least it was more frustration than sadness, though.
( ❝ val...sk-ah? chasitity? huh? ❞ ) he whispers to himself, trying to process everything. his mind was foggy with emotion— and from being disturbed from his previously zoned-out state. he shook his head, as if to wake him from a dream. he cleared his throat, sitting up a bit and plastering that smile on. the one that beams with positivity and passion— when it’s genuine. this one wasn’t. it was like plastic, yet realistic enough to fool anybody that he wasn’t close to. sometimes it actually passed with close friends. it worked wonders.
❝ uh, i’m sonic! sonic the hedgehog. good to put a name to the face, aria— ❞ he shuffled a bit, obviously a tad uncomfortable. when your friends barely visited your second home, having a complete and utter stranger waltz in uninvited was, well, jarring, to say the least. ❝ can i... h— ❞ he hesitates for a moment, wavering. no hedgehog, you are not going to do this now! ❝ help. can i help ya out? how’d’ya find me? ❞
