“My name is Boruto Uzumaki, I like burgers and ramen, I hate the hokage and I dream of kicking my dad’s ass-ttebaseh!”

“Idiot.”

“Who you calling idiot, idiot!”

“real original.”

“Stop it you two,” Konohamaru said.

Konohamaru never though that Orochimaru’s son would be the easiest one to handle on the team.

“Sarada your turn.” He said while glaring at Boruto so he can shut it.

“My name is Sarada, I like tea, training, and reading, I hate annoying brats, I’m somewhat afraid of tight spaces, and I dream of becoming hokage.”

“Liar.” Boruto said.

“What?!”

“There is something more that you are afraid off.”

“No there isn’t.”

“Yes there is.”

“No there isn’t!”

“Okay then, remember when we were about 7 and I found you hiding under a table at Inojin’s birthday party?”

Sarada froze for a second before talking again.

“Don’t you dare say it!”

“Sarada is afraid of-”

“Boruto!”

“Clowns.”

“That’s it your dead shanaroo!.”

“I’m so scared, what’re ya going to do four eyes huh?”

Sarada punched the tree next to her, the poor tree fell on the ground a second later to Boruto’s terror.

“Hey, I didn’t know you could do that.” Boruto said as he backed away from Sarada, who was cracking her fingers.

Boruto ran and Sarada started chasing him across the training field.

“I bet Sarada is gonna punch his head off.” Konohamaru prompted, and if he’s honest, he thinks Boruto deserves a couple of punches.

“Boruto is very fast.”

“Yeah, but he’d tire soon, and if Sarada is anything like her mother, then she won’t stop until his head is in the dirt.

Mitsuki looked at hi sensei before speaking.

’‘Good luck sensei.”

Konohamaru sighted.

'Naruto-nii gave me this team so I lose my sanity before I can take the hat from him huh?’

The new team 7

Disclaimer: I don’t own any of the characters, the characters featured in this fic all belong to Kishimoto.

Team 7 is known as the strongest team of their generation, which is fitting since they share the same team number as the previous sanin.

They were all children of sannin, albeit of different generations.

Mitsuki is the son of Orochimaru, formerly an S class missing nin, but now he’s an ally of the leaf, he’s the most mysterious of the group, everything from his parentage to his abilities is mysterious, but he was someone the team could rely on, cause other than being teammates with Boruto and Sarada, he is also Boruto’s friend and Sarada’s ‘best guy friend 'as she says.

After three years of being teammates with the uzumaki and Uchiha heirs, he had excellent teamwork with both of them, together or apart, but, he thought as Konohamaru sensei declared their surrender against Boruto and Sarada’s team, he knew that he could never work with them the way they work with each other .

“Great job guys, you’re teamwork in strong enough to beat me and Mitsuki together, I’m even thinking of applying you guys to the jonin exams.”

“ Well it’s about time we became jonin huh Sarada? But don’t even dream of winning the jonin exams tournament cause that’s mine database!”

“ We’ll see idiot, but don’t forget who won our last three spars.”

“You were just lucky that’s all.”

“Yeah, if you think luck is a synonym to skill.”

“You’ll be dazzled by my new secret weapon that my dad helped with, you won’t even realize what happened.”

“Yeah right and besides you’re not the only one who was training with their parents lately.”

“Were you training with Auntie Sakura or Uncle?”

Sarada smirked.

“With both.”

Borutogulped because he could only imagine a jutsu that requires the careful attention from two legendary sannin.

“We’ll see, loser treats the winner to burgers deal?” Boruto said as his hand extended towards Sarada.

“Deal.” Sarada said as her hand caught Boruto’s and they shook hands.

Since the moment Mitsuki joined the team , he knew that there will be moments where his teammates will forget about him, that didn’t bother him, since he knew that no matter what he did he would never have a bond with them like the one they shared.

Their bond is something built by years of trust and understanding, and it’s noticeable that they knew each other before the academy, since even then their teamwork was flawless, Boruto explained it’s because they were partners in crime before they stopped being friends when they were kids.

“But I thought that the jonin exams spars required teams of two.” Mitsuki intervened.

“That’s not always the case, sometimes they test each chunin by themselves,” Konohamaru said.

“Then if it’s like Mitsuki said, if one of us loses, we both lose, Sarada?”

It’s an unspoken agreement between the team , that if anything required a team of two, then Sarada and Boruto would be together.

“ Of course, and our first mission as a team of two today is to find Mitsuki a teammate.”

“Yeah, I think Chou-chou would love to be on a team with you.” The blonde boy said as he wiggled his eyebrows.

“Yeah, yeah Chou-Chou would be thrilled to be on a team with you.” Sarada said as she grabbed his arm and pulled him towards the team 5 training grounds.

Mitsuki started regretting telling his friends about his crush on the Akimichi heir.

It didn’t help that Sarada is best friends with Chou-chou.

And from an analytical point of view, Chou chou’s fighting style is the perfect companion to his own , and if he wanted to beat Boruto and Sarada he wanted to have the best teammate possible.

He doubted even Shikadai could beat them together, since they can formulate plans in seconds and make the other understand in even less time, besides the were both raised by Kakashi’s motto, which is to never leave a friend behind, they were raised by that motto, while Mitsuki had to learn it from them.

But through the years, he watched their bond change, and that change affected their teamwork, they used to fight like The hokage and Sarada’s dad, counting on the other and protecting each other, but now they fight more like his master, Sakura Uchiha, and her husband, counting on each other and trusting each other’s abilities, but they can’t help but look towards the other every time they hear something weird, protect the other, but also can’t help but avenge the other too, his father told him what Sasuke did to the sound nin that hurt Sakura in their chunin exams, and he was reminded of that story when he saw Sarada almost kill an S rank missing nin with a tsukuyomi for fatally injuring Boruto.

The members of team 7 are unbreakable, Mitsuki knew that knew that Sarada and Boruto would never give him up, but he also knew that before team 7 was born, Sarada and Boruto were teammates, after that rivals, and then friends, but it seems their bond is growing into something else.

Something more beautiful, more passionate, something Mitsuki could only call love.

For BoruSara Week 2017

Prompt : Day 4 : Banter

Author Note : My first conversation-only drabble, so it’s really short. Hope you guys like it.

“You snore, ya know.”

“…I do not.”

“You do.”

“….”

“Don’t squint at me like that - ttebasa!” “

“I will if you keeping spouting rubbish - shannaro!”

“I am not saying anything outlandish.”

“Don’t talk while brushing your teeth and when your mouth is full of foam. That’s disgusting.”

“Yeah, yeah, whatever. You’re not a heavy snorer, mind you.”

“…”

“It’s just that I can actually hear it.”

“….What….does it sound like?”

“Like a very light whistling.”

“Mhh.”

“What is it?”

“It’s just that Mama does that as well when she’s asleep. I suppose I got that from her.”

“That’s a weird thing to get happy about - ttebasa.”

“Yeah, I know but…”

“But what?”

“Nothing.”

“No, tell me - ttebasa!”

“It’s just that Mama and everyone always kept on saying how I am like Papa. Nobody other than Lord Seventh ever told me that I have anything which is like Mama.”

“What? Does being like your Dad make you upset?”

“No, that’s not it at all - shannaro! It’s just for quite sometime I….well I wanted something of mine to match Mama’s. That’s it.”

“So…you snore like your mom. Why would something like that make you this happy?”

“Not telling you!”

“….”

“What?”

“….”

“Stop that! Why the hell are you smirking like that?”

“Not telling you.”

“You idiot, tell me right now!”

“Hey! Stop getting into my face!”

“I will if you tell me why you were smirking like that.”

“Yeesh! You are stubborn, aren’t you - ttebasa? Alright then. I was wondering why you think you are nothing like your mom. Did you even see that megaton punch of yours? That’s so totally like Aunt Sakura!”

“Hehe! That’s a secret!”

“What! No, tell me.”

“Absolutely not.”

“Sarada!”

“Boruto.”

“Stop it!”

“Okay. Okay.”

“…”

“….”

“You didn’t answer my question though - ttebasa.”

“…It’s just that you know Papa left on that ultra-secret mission when I was just three, right?”

“Yeah…”

“I think, so that I don’t forget about Papa, Mama and everyone always kept saying how I am exactly like Papa. But nobody ever told me anything that’s like hers. So…”

“So, even a small thing like that makes you happy.”

“Don’t act so smug, Dummy, just because you caught up with why I am happy. Anyway, were you cold last night? Your sleeping bag was zipped up to your head.”

“I didn’t realise it would be so cold sleeping outside - ttebasa.”

“Yeah, me neither. It’s our first overnight mission, after all. I have an extra cover. Take it next time.”

“Thanks, Sarada.”

“You are welcome, Baka Boruto.“

So 3rd of July is already here and so is the beginning of the BoruSara Week 2017. The submission box is now open, so go ahead and submit all the fan works you have created. Please remember the rules, especially those for tagging. We sincerely hope that everyone enjoys the BoruSara Week to its maximum.

Borusara Fest Week 2017

Hello everyone! Welcome to Borusara Week 2017.

It’s been two and a half years since our OTP Borusara (Boruto Uzumaki X Sarada Uchiha) has been introduced to the world. However, it came to our notice that there has never been a BoruSara fan event on Tumblr despite BoruSara being the most popular ship of the new generation. So, a few weeks back, one of our mods asked about the possibility of such an event on her post and the response has been tremendously positive.

A few of us went ahead with the idea of such an event and created this blog where we can host the first ever Borusara week. It took us a while but we hope that we haven’t kept you waiting. Thank you all for your patience.

Please follow the rules of this event. Remember that rules are set for the ease of hosting this event and that our mods have worked hard to bring together this event. Information about the event is as follows:

1. The BoruSara Week 2017 will be held from July 3rd - July 9th 2017.

2. Any kind of work is welcome. This includes fanfiction, fan art, doujinshis, AMVs, edits, GIFs, etc. Please submit your work to us only on this blog during that week. We will upload your work up on the blog so that others can enjoy it.

3. As with other fests, we are also setting up prompts as imagination boosters. The prompts for Borusara Week 2017 are :

Day 1 : Teamwork

Day 2 : Empathy

Day 3 : Encouragement

Day 4 : Banter

Day 5 : Observation

Day 6 : Rivalry

Day 7 : Childhood

4. In order to make this event as efficient as possible, the mods have come up with a tagging system. The tags are as follows :

#borusaraweek is the general tag and has to be included in every work which is being submitted in this week.

Every post in relation to Borusara week should be tagged with #bsw in front of the prompt and day, example: #bswday1

Must use appropriate tags in order for posts to be tracked/posted to the fest blog. The day must coordinate with the prompt.The first two tags in bold in the example below are to be tagged no matter what day/prompt it is during the fest week.

Example: #borusara, #borusaraweek, #bswday1, #bswteamwork.

if your work is based on the first day’s prompt, please tag it as #bswday1. Same goes for #bswday2 (for day 2), #bswday3 (for day 3) and so on.

5. Please note that you don’t have to stick to the day’s prompt if you don’t wish to. Any work related to Borusara is welcome. Please tag these works with the general tag #borusaraweek. The day tag is to be excluded here.

6. Stick to the tags of the day and general tags rules. Tag your work correctly. Double-check them if needed. Remember the tags are there for the convenience of both the participants and the moderators. Incorrectly tagged work may not show up on the blog. So please tag your works properly and correctly.

7. Any work which is to be submitted to the event has to be submitted within the week itself. The submission box will not be opened before 3rd of July 2017 and will be closed after 9th of July 2017.

8. You can participate on any day and leave on any day. You can even mix up day prompts and general theme. Remember this is a fan event and this is meant to showcase your love and dedication towards Borusara as well as your talent as a person. Relax and enjoy yourself.

9. Please remember that the mods have a life outside Tumblr and while doing their best to stay alert, they may also need some time to upload your submissions. Please do not harass them and be patient. They will surely upload your work.

10. If in case your work was submitted but not uploaded, please check the tags again and check the tags with the work you have submitted.

11. Disclaimers have to be included in your works. That’s a must. Remember we are using Kishimoto-sensei’s creations and we don’t want legal repercussions of that.

12. This event is a shipping event where happiness is the ultimate aim. No shipping or character bashing is allowed in any form. We mean it. It’s not allowed. I repeat IT’S NOT ALLOWED. Keep it out of this blog. If you don’t like any character or ship, please refrain from indulging in that in your work. Focus on Borusara and try your best to stay positive.

13. Rude comments, foul language, curses, antis and haters will be ignored and blocked. We are not going waste our precious time on them. Be respectful. If you don’t like something, please refrain from indulging in it. Just ignore it. Also, please report to the mods if you see any such comments on this blog. That person will be blocked.

-No offensive material.

-Accurate ratings

-No attacking artists or writers

14. Borusara is the main ship of this event. Please keep the focus on this ship in your work. Try not to let other ships or characters in your work overwhelm it.

15. Please do not repost other people’s work. This event is to create and promote original fanworks.

16. Feel free to join in even as just a visitor. Please like and share any works you have enjoyed. It will encourage the creators.

Anyone is free to check out the fest blog but just know it is currently under construction at the moment but will definitely be ready by the time of Borusara week.
