If anyone's interested, I gave a nuanced talk about how God hears and answers prayers, and that we need to react with compassion when someone receives an answer we don't agree with. I included President Oaks' remarks about opposing the racial ban, and how he did not receive a confirmation of the truth of any explanation about why the racial ban was necessary, as an example of receiving revelation contrary to the teachings of church leaders.
