He was the earth and she was his Moon , his Queen , and his Goddess . destined to be but still far from reach as fate withheld their happiness from flourishing . Still they held on their love and still he remembers his Vow .

*Another WIP that won't see the light of day 💔, I still hope that one day I'll complete it or try to at least.

He kneeled on one knee before her at the gates, fully adorned in his black armour with his band of knights behind him doing the same . The light of dawn peeked upon the castle walls as she stood along with the advisors to see their King and his trusted soldiers off , the situation in the western border was escalating rapidly and they needed to put an end to it , the people were suffering and it's their king's duty to be the hand to ensure that it's dealt with.

The advisors gave their opinions and guidance to affirm the authority of the crown and secure the borders in the face of the avarice of the neighbouring kingdom , so sooner than expected the king and his troops were set to depart to the west ,and much to the Queen's disagreement and reluctant approval they packed and were ready to depart but not before their Queen's blessings . Accustomed to the old traditions before every departure the Queen gives her blessings and a prayer to the Moon to guide and protect her soldiers through their journey until their safe return, just like now where she stood with her hands held over her heart , her eyes closed as she sighed deeply before she blinked her eyes in a beautiful shade of E/C glow that resembled two shining stars adorning her kind face .

Her voice carried over the court and reached the outer walls as she spoke her last prayers " from the light and from the depth of the night, from moon down upon you , my brave warriors, may she guide and guard you path and may she bring you back safe and victor " then she stepped towards her king to place her hand on his cheek as she spoke gently " and may she guide you , my king to prevail and to return stronger, to bring peace and justice upon our land , and to return to me " he held her hand gently, placing a kiss upon her palm while caressing the back of it in a comforting motion , then he got up to his feet taking her other hand in his , holding them close over his heart then leaned his forehead into hers , making her close her eyes and whisper " return to me, my king " he did the same and whispered back " always my Queen . In this life , my love , and in every life , I'll always find my way back to you " sealing his promise with a final kiss upon her forehead, before turning to face his men .

He gave them one final look before beating his fist over his chest twice , making them stand in one motion all moving as one and beat their own armours thrice, shouting in one voice " hail the moon , hail the land , hail our Queen" turning to face the gates . marching to mount their awaiting horses before lining up again waiting for their king who turned to the royal advisors nodding at them " I trust you'll be the wise opine for our Queen when needed" they bowed deeply, hiding their malicious grins as they faced the ground, then raised back up slowly, the head advisor spoke up with his hands clapped before him " we won't disappoint " then bowed his head in salute " your majesty " the king acknowledged with a curt nod then turned to mount his own horse , giving his Queen one last look tapping his heart twice and smiling fondly as she responded with two taps on her own, watching as he turned his horse around and made his way to lead his waiting soldiers , the kingdom flag waving high as they rode through the capital's streets, greeted by the people who stood in awe as their king and his trusted men passed by in a majestic sight .

The head advisor spoke to his two companions as his eyes were fixed on the Queen's back in a glare " we'll start in two nights time , make sure everything is ready , and spread the word " his glare turned into a smirk " the lunar reign is about to end ", she turned her head his way when she felt eyes on her , and he didn't hesitate to bow in respect making her turn back as one of the council members got her attention .

She stood beside Lewis both taking a break from interviews during media day ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix , as they decided to walk around for a bit to stretch their legs and get some fresh air, and as they made their way out waving at some fans calling for them from stands , a group caught their attention as they called out the loudest , drawing attention at their chants " Hamilton! " He turned his head their way but couldn't help the frown as they were all wearing Red Bull's merch or the bright orange army t-shirts but his frown turned into confusion as they called out again " give her back !" , He shouted back gaining attention from passers-by " what? " They pointed at Y/N who in confusion pointed at herself " give Y/N back to us!! We had her first !! " Both drivers laughed at the fans antics with Lewis jokingly scooping his teammate up , shouting as he turned back with her over his shoulder " Never! , she's mine now ! " Walking back with her waving back to the fans over Lewis shoulder before they disappeared back inside .

They sat side by side at the back of the stage , both sporting stoic faces and narrowed eyes which were hidden behind their matching black shades as they observed the ongoing interview with utter boredom , wishing to be anywhere else, but no , they're both stuck in there and had to suffer, but at least they were to suffer together . They sighed as the speaker finally concluded and they were more than ready for a break , but moments after another person started to speak , his loud and exaggerated gestures were over the top , making them wince and roll their eyes , she could be seen leaning up to whisper something to Lewis who leaned down to listen , his eyebrow rose at what she was saying , and when they leaned back he pulled his shades down his nose to get a better look at something before adjusting it back into place , then Shared a sly look with his teammate before looking away with a smirk .

The bus/platform? (I forgot what it's called!) was crowded on one side with drivers waving at the crowd as they passed by , on the other side both the Mercedes drivers stood in deep conversation with her waving for a bit before continuing from where she stopped, Lewis wide grin turned into a chuckle as she held her hand out , hip jutted as she spoke with a raised nose and a sassy attitude, making him break into a full blown laughter at her act , then she tilted her head and said something after making a face causing him to double over, trying to calm his laughter but failed when she straightened back and made a remark resulting in both of them laughing all over again.

They could be seen sitting at the back of the garage watching as people and mechanics/engineers and working staff moved in and out , Lewis was sitting on one chair with one of his arms draped over the back of the chair beside his , which was the the one she sat on with her head leaning on his arm instead of the uncomfortable chair, her legs crossed on another chair In front of her .

Lewis said something making her turn her head to face him instead of looking outside , leaning closer to answer back while holding his free hand that adorned a couple of rings that she absentmindedly played with . She then held his hand up while pointing to his pinky , making him smile fondly at her before taking it off and putting it on one of her fingers instead , his smile grew when she lifted her hand to admire it's new accessory , giving him a wide smile and said something making him lean over to knock his forehead against hers gently .

*The fans/LewisxY/N shippers believed/swore he proposed to her and they've been married ever since. It's a running joke between them both after the fans gone wild with thousands of edit of that moment going viral .

Lewis was doing an interview which was pretty much boring so far , with blain remarks and out of topic questions he could only pray for it to end , the line of interviews went on and a smile suddenly broke across his face as he caught sight of his teammate finishing her own interview few feet away , before making her way over as he pleaded with his eyes for her to save him .

She stepped over with time to spare and a wide grin on , just on time for the final question aimed at him " so Lewis what's the most expensive thing you've ever adorned? " He made a face at that before turning to her " she knows the answer to this one better than anyone " , letting her take it as he saw one of her mischievous grins when she asked for the reporter to repeat the question, which he did with slight distaste , earning a smirk and a raised eyebrow from her as she answered at once " Me " , the reporter gave a stunned look then asked " excuse me? " Making her shrug as she answered" myself " she then looked at Lewis who nod in agreement with her answer " superb and truly one of a kind " earning a humm from her as they were both nonchalant and confidant with the answer .

When the reporter failed to come up with any response they moved on their way to head out of the media pin , with Lewis giving a curt nod while she flipped her hair as she turned with her arm linked with her teammate's .

Lewis was sitting outside with his phone in hand , scrolling through it in peace before she made her way straight to him with a bounce in her steps, halting her fast pace before him which made him look up with a startled face which turned into a calm one once he saw it was her , then into a frown as she frantically said something after sitting down with her legs crossed In front of him , then into surprise when she started telling him the urgent news , his face contoured from disbelief as he asked her something to which she answered back with something that made him drop his jaw in bewilderment then shock as she spelled the reset of the gossip , her face looking as shocked as he was and shook her head with an eye roll as she gave her remark on the topic , then nodded as he gave his own remark, both shared a knowing look , then went back to what they were doing before with her off to whatever she was doing , and Lewis back on his phone.

The view was breathtaking to say the least as the camera gave a full shot of the setting sun from where the person recording stood on the top of the yacht they occupied, the clip showed the sun going down the horizon and as it turned it showed non other than the Mercedes teammates both unaware/unbothered by the person behind them . Y/n was leaning with her arms crossed on the rails as she was admiring the view, her head on top of her arms and a content look over her face, Lewis was right beside her with his head leaning on one of his hands and the same look of contentment on his face, he turned to her and asked " would you keep watching the sun burnout with me ? " She turned her head and gave him a soft grin as she answered in a heartbeat " forever " . Keeping her gaze locked with his before they both turned back to catch the last glimpse of the sun before it disappeared completely .

Sophie took out the bag , handing it over to Max who stood besides her with poe in his arms who in turn was looking around in wonder , eyes lightening up at the swarms of people wearing different teams shirts and holding signs and what not he recognized his Papa's team shirt , which he wore one himself under his mini RBR jacket along with a cute bucket hat over his head .

After a moment of looking around he tilted his head at his father asking with a frown " Bibi? " Making Max chuckle and ask in amusement " I thought you came to watch 'me' win this weekend ? " The boy shook his head and pointed at the entrance eagerly , then raised both his arms in a victory motion excitedly cheering " Bibi , win! " , making his father groan and look in with a pout " even you betray me pow pow ? , I thought we were a team ! " Making the boy pat his father's face gently in comfort whilst smiling wide giving a teasing whisper " Bibi" then covered his mouth to hide his grin , much to his father's misery who mumbled under his breath " you spend too much time with her , you're starting to bully your own papa!? " , and his Nana's amusement who stood back and called after a second for them to get going .

Max lifted his boy up, carrying him over his shoulders where he wrapped his small arms around his Papa's head and perched his head over his as they made their way in , greeting some people along the way and stopping a couple of times to say hello to some of the drivers before dropping their belongings off at his driver's room and head straight to the garage, greeted by Christian who walked up to them pumping his fist with poe's small one, who happily greeted back , and asked him after chatting a bit " so champ , who will win this weekend ? " He eagerly answered, ignoring his father's groan and pointed at the other side of the garage " Bibi! " Then wiggled his feet making his father puts him down, steadying him for a moment making him look up with a wide smile as he was instructed " be careful , and remember, no running around, ok ? " Nodding along with every word before taking few steps away from his father's reach and made a run for the other side giggling at his father's scolding and peeked his head around the monitors stationed between the two sections of the garage, eyes lighten up when he found who he was looking for seated on the front wheel of her car and seemed to talk to her racing engineer , who sat on one of the high chairs before her , pointing at the front wings and making a frowning face , he paused for a moment then went off sprinting towards her with his arms up screaming out " BIBI!!! " .

" huh? " She looked around with a frown which turned into a wide grin at the stumbling bundle of energy running her way , and didn't hesitate to call back excitedly " pow pow ! " Scooping him up and showering him with kisses as his giggles filled the air , his small arms wrapped around her neck in a tight hug making her Pat his back gently " oh I missed you so so much " he then pulled his head back and nodded with a pout of his own pointing at himself " Poe too " she kissed his cheek " I know baby " then she gave him a once over complementing his fit which made him smile bashfully before remembering why he was so exited , trying to take his jacket off but failed before looking at her with a pout pointing at his jacket " Bibi , off! " She nods and puts him down then sat herself cross-legged beside him with her back leaning on the front wheel of the car and helped him out of it , he sighed dramatically making her chuckle a bit and it soon turned into a gleeful one once he turned around, showing her his shirt for the day before turning to face her with a determined voice " Bibi wins " she gave him a nod and lifted him up again " I'll make sure to do so , you know why ? " He shook his head and tilted his head, so she answered " cause Poe is here and when he's here , I always win " , making him scrunch up his nose before hiding his face on her shoulder , she giggled at his shy action and rubbed his back , both turned to look up once Max made his way over , calling out loudly while looking at his son's shirt " you gotta be kidding me! " Both looked at him smiling innocently as if they heard nothing , with Poe pointing at the people outside trying to distract his father " papa look ! " Only for Max to stand there with both of his hands on his hips and rolled his eyes before sitting beside them on the floor with his legs stretched out , then lifted the boy up and groan as he tickled his sides " you're out here rooting for Bibi ? , but what about your old man ? , you're leaving me in the dust ? " The boy tried to wiggle away with bursts of giggles escaping him and settled for a moment to nod in agreement to Max's question " papa , dust awaaaay ! " making his father gasp in horror as the little boy took the chance to hide behind his favourite driver , trying to find a way out as he pointed at her with a cheeky smile " Bibi too " making Max ask in a thoughtful voice " humm, she do deserve it too " she snapped her head at him and called out with her hands up in defense " woah , hey ! Don't get me dragged into this ! , I'm an innocent bystander so leave me out of it " both boys shared a mischievous grin before Max called out " get her ! " Both trapped her down and started to tickle her into breathless laughter , and when she finally yielded they took mercy and let her out this time , but she stayed on her back , feeling too comfortable to move and Poe didn't waste time plopping over her , finding himself a comfortable position and sighed when she began running her fingers through his hair, earning a giggle from her and an eye roll from Max who glared at him only to receive a scrunched up face from his son .

After a beat of silence Max turned slightly to lean on the wheel instead of facing it , then lifted her head and let it rest on his leg instead, trying to fix the mess they made of her hair and smiled as she whispered to Poe who whispered something back with a nod , his small hand on her cheek out of habit which he did when wanted her full attention , both chatting amongst themselves before they looked up at him with smiles upon their faces , he scrunched up his face and pinched Poe's nose playfully and the boy didn't hesitate to snap his teeth at him , but Max held back his hand before he could bite it off , Poe whined and call out pointing at his nose a pouted at her " Bibi! Papa mean ! " she cooed at him and gently rubbed it in a soothing motion, glaring up at Max who glared back " don't be mean " , he gapped at them and pointed at the now snuggled boy " me !? What about him ! he almost bit my fingers off! " She shrugged " you started it " the boy nodded in agreement from where he was , yawning before drifting after a beat of silence .

Max looked at them as spoke quietly " he's growing up so fast " making her pout in thought before patting his cheek in comfort " he is , give it a few years and I'll get a new teammate who won't smash my rear wings while exiting the pits before every practice session " , he rolled his eyes at her bitter reminder and groaned out " it was one time! , and for the millionth time it was gasly's fault ! " She pointed out in denial " but gasly didn't smash my wings, did he , so who's fault is it ?! " , he stared at her at her blankly for a moment before deadpanning " it's Horner's fault for letting you out first " she thought about it for a moment then nod in agreement " fair enough , remind me to get back at him for it " he nod in amusement knowing she'll give their boss hell for the next month or so , but felt relieved to get away from the storm she'll unleash upon the grid .

* I'm so sorry for the long delay 🙏🏻 💔 . 💀🤦🏻‍♀️Life is shit in general and I can't finish any of my WIP list , so this might be the last update for a while until I could make/find the time to breathe and get some proper writing done .

2.october

Stretching after a long dreadful meeting was the first thing she did once everyone dismissed themselves out of the room , suppressing a yawn by covering her mouth as she leaned back in her chair in exhaustion . Today was a full schedule and that means back to back meetings along with legal and audit reviews of months worth of work , not to mention the preparations for upcoming events and gala's due to end of year celebrations back in headquarters .

To say her schedule was packed would be an understatement, but she made sure to not overwhelm herself and made time to check on the guys . she hated how they all got distracted by their busy schedules and lives in general, now they barely got a chance to meet eachother at their Spare time, and that was hard on all of them , the transition of going from spending most of their time working together even spending their off time close by to separate across the globe with them traveling constantly and her tucked away from one meeting to another not to mention the different timezones far away from their reach .

They still made the effort to call and leave voice messages daily, keeping her up with what's happening on the grid, and she in return left them all with voice messages and calls before every race , wishing them luck and a safe drive , religiously tuning in to every quali and race despite the time gaps and the work load , even indulging her now employees to enjoy the sport too , unknown to them how she herself used to race not long ago , some even recognized her but kept quiet out of respect to not get her unwanted attention, so she made most of the time to distract herself from the pit of uneasiness growing in her chest , and her almost overflowing schedule helped in that aspect.

A light knock snapped her out, followed by her assistant Lauren who peeked her head in , giving her an apologetic look making her sigh deeply before ushering her in " what now? " Lauren winced as she briefed her on the situation " you remember Mr Solly ? , head of the Australian branch is outside waiting on for an urgent meeting, something to do with the recent changes regarding the finance and marketing department " she tilted her head at the name " he came all the way to France to complain?" Lauren just nod not knowing what to say, making her huff a laugh " that's dedication, I'll give him that " taking a quick glance at her watch she then decided "Alright, I have 20 minutes before the next meeting so send him in , and please make sure to send out the Japanese deadline notice before we head to Montreal " Lauren nods as she typed on her pad then handed her the next meeting files " this will be our final meeting for the French branch , tomorrow will be field day and you have an appearance at Paris d'or gala , then you're free till Wednesday night , we'll be heading to Spain for the launch then we'll fly to Montreal form there before heading to New York on the 13th " she slumped over the desk dramatically , Groaning as she grumbled " and I thought my media duties were torturous " making Lauren remember " by the way the new Media team are going to attend the event tomorrow evening and will accompany us through the rest of the way back to UK " she snapped her head at the news " what!? , no no no " Lauren nod at her miserable face " yes, be grateful they're not following you everyday" , she straightened her posture and nods " if they try to get on my nerves I'm ditching them for good " Lauren nods in agreement " fair enough " then she made way to the door , letting Mr Solly in before closing it behind her .

The man walked in confidently with a certain look in his eyes, one she saw too many times to recognise with ease, he was sizing her and at the same time giving off the illusion of power , of having the upper hand over the situation, and she wanted to see the show he was trying to put up to it's end so she held her tongue as she greeted him " Mr Solly, you're a long way from Australia" he nods stoically " Ms L/N, I apologize for the inconvenience , I know how demanding your schedule is these days " she gave him a bored look " good to see we both think of it the same way " , her statement made him clench his hands but he kept his cool and proceeded " well , it's about the financial arrangements you installed previously and we see that they're a bit , extreme " she leveled him with a raised eyebrow " and may I ask who is we? " He cleared his throat " well the .... The directors and ..." She didn't waste time listening to his lame excuses " if my memory serves me right , and it does. The 'arrangements' as you called them were approved by the board members along with the department manager himself and the shareholders " his breath hitched and she didn't stop there " these arrangements came in time with various complaints from within the department about missing numbers from the accounts and they're not just small undetected numbers, they're big Mr Solly, too big to get swiped aside as human error or collateral casualty, so I'm asking you directly Mr Solly, do you have something to say? " , he clenched his jaw before he gritted out " what are you insinuating? " She leaned back on her chair with a wide grin " I'm not insinuating anything Mr Solly, I'm just asking obvious questions? But you seems to already know the answers " , He straightened his back and dropped his fake smile " you have no idea how things work, this is bigger than you , you think you can just come in and run around as you please just cause you're sitting on that chair? It's only a matter of time before everything crumbles because of your ignorance , you won't be smiling then " , she feigned surprise " are you threatening me Mr Solly? " He seemed satisfied with her reaction as he smugly answered " no , I'm simply enlightening you " she shook her head in boredom, staking her files and intertwined her hands on top of the stak giving him a wide smile unfazed by his falling apart façade " then let me enlight you in return , in two weeks time will be the next evaluation, I'll expect one of two things when I turn up by then , either your full report along with the missing accounts and data or your resignation letter, it's up to you to choose which one I'll be receiving first " .

She stood with a silent huff , not giving him space to react or answer back to the accusations and collected her files " now if you'll excuse me, I have somewhere to be , I'm sure you know your way out " she made her way to the door and left like nothing happened.

The man was at the point beyond seething, he screamed at the empty chair, slamming his hands on the desk and proceeded to kick at chair before him . She stood by Lauren's desk, not bothering to glance at the closed door where the shouts of anger radiates off " charge him if he damaged anything and be sure to have at least one of the security to..... help him out if needed , and let me know if Martin call back or send the files I asked about " with a final nod she made her way to the next meeting .

Letting a chuckled at her frowning face , then shared an amused grin over her head with Sergio who extended his arm out for her to hold into " I thought you'd be more hungover than this " , she gave him a hard glare reaching blindly to smack him as she replied emphasizing with each smack " and I thought you'd be nicer " he dodged the last one groaning as he held his wounded shoulder from her assault " you ditched me for months!! and when you show up you hit me !? " She shrugged " I'm suffering and you're the one responsible for it so you have to suffer too " she turned to Sergio who was now laughing at their fight while kylian scoffed at her "it's not my fault you drink like a bottomless pit ! I told you to slow down !" She turned her head back to scowl at him " I was nervous!! and you dared me to drink half of what we had!" He looked away at her accusations finding interest in the ceiling , away from her glaring eyes .

She rolled her eyes and asked " where's Leo ? He's my favourite anyway, and he's for sure nicer than you " he pouted and made his way behind her to wrap his arms around in a tight hug, swaying them from side to side as he whined " I thought I was your favourite?! " She held his arms with one of her hands while she used the other to reach back to give him a hard pinch on his side " not when you're amplifying my headache " making him yelp in pain and flinch away holding his side " fuck! " , she ignored him and turned to Sergio who was holding back his laugh and raised an eyebrow at him with her eyes narrowed " you want one ? " He backed away raising his hands in fear " no thank you" she nods and made her way towards the rest of the team waiting for the tour guide to lead them further into the newly built facility .

Her father's company has been one of the main investors which made the responsibility to attend on a short notice to attend the tour either along with the other investors from other companies or with the team itself, and since she was barely conscious that morning when Lauren flooded her phone with SOS messages to drag her not even 15 minutes later to attend with the team their first tour on the newly built facility .

So here she is , willing her tired self to push through the day in favour of sleeping her killer hangover away , not to mention her little shit of a best friend who is making hard for her to not throw him in one of the construction containers to serve him for poking fun at her .

Tom made his way to the stairs, avoiding the crowded lift in order to clear his mind a bit , a little exercise with some music won't do him any harm , so with his headphones on loud he took the first two floors before contemplating his choice as his legs started to shake , and it didn't take long for him to deem his choice a shitty one and used the exit door to find the lift in the third floor .

He leaning on the wall to support his weight as he waited to catch his lost breaths , and when it finally arrived it was way less crowded than he expected, with only one lady standing on the side with her hands clapped before her in an elegant way , he adjusted his hoodie and greeted her in a polite " hello " receiving a nod back before taking the other side further from her after pressing the top floor, focusing his eyes on his phone to pass the time , after a moment she asked after noticing where he's heading " you're going for a meeting too ? " He looked at her then shrugged " you can say that " she hummed in thought then pointed at what he was wearing , a hoodie along with jeans and his hair a mess , and gave a disapproving face " I don't think you have an appropriate attire for such place " even shaking her head with disdain " kids these days " he gave her a side glance , huffing a laugh under his breath before speaking aloud " well , it's a good thing i didn't ask for your opinion nor approval on that , seeing it's none of your business " leaving her with her mouth shut and hands clenched into fists , and made his exit when they reached the floor , rolling his eyes at her then turned round the corner and out of her sight.

He came face to face with Eddie who looked ready to head to a meeting, giving him a glare as he stood his ground with his arms crossed making Eddie clap his hands in a pleading manner " it's a last minute meeting, I wouldn't go if it wasn't urgent, it's only half hour consultation " when he didn't receive any answer he went for bribery " I'll get you a brand new set " Tommy gave him an unimpressed look " Bibi already did send me one from France " Eddie rolled his eyes with a mumble of " of course she did " before huffing at his youngest brother and asked " what do you want ? " Tommy extended his hand with his palm up " I'm driving back , and for the next week " he glared back at him and Searched his pockets before throwing his key at Tommy's waiting hand pointing at him in warning " just this time " and hurried down the hall to the meeting room , he swung the keys around his finger as he made his way to Carlton , his brother's longtime assistant who sat behind his desk as usual , making the later look up when he made his way over , smiling up at him as he leaned on the desk " look what Van Gogh dragged in " Tommy's smile widened , with his dimples on full display as he peeked his head over the screen that Carlton was working on minutes ago , " oh , no need for insults , you could just say you missed me " Carlton raised an eyebrow at him and scoffed " yeah sure , I do miss you missing up my files and distracting me half of the time you're here , and the other half you spend whining up and down about being board " Tommy kept his grin and teased with his eyes squinted " so you do miss me ! " Carlton rolled his eyes and sighed going back to his work " sit your ass down, I got work to do " he saluted and made his way over to set of plush chair across from the desk and made himself comfortable then started working on one of his sketches , moments later he heard his name being called, and when he looked up he was greeted by a slightly medium sized bag aimed at his face but he caught it before any damage could happen, and before jumping to send it back at Carlton he looked at the bag and his smile returned at the sight of his favourite candy , and called out in a sweet voice " ooooh , so you did, did missed me !? " making the other mumble under his breath " sometimes I regret doing so " making Tommy ask loudly " what was that ? " , " nothing! , if you don't want it give it back ! " The call made Tommy hug the bag and lean away "ok! I want it ! And thank you for thinking of me ! " making Carlton groan and burry his blushing face on his hands almost regretting his action , almost , but the sound of Tommy's loud humming made him take it back , " huummmn , sweet , but not as sweet as you~ " , yup he definitely regrets it now .

Back to Edward who was making his way to his urgent consultation after handing over his car keys, taking a breath before unlocking the door and stepping in , about to greet the Clint who turned out to be a woman standing by the window overlooking the skyline of London with her back facing him , but his words died in his throat when she turned around to face him , a smile made it's way upon her lips and she didn't hesitate to greet him , taking notice of his stunned face and stiff shoulders " hello Edward , it's been a long time " , he couldn't grasp if it's real or if he was having a cruel dream , no a nightmare . but it took him a moment to find his voice again and ask in disbelief " Mom ? " .

*inspired by S.M song : where were you in the morning, it was intended for Max but it fits Carlos so well in my mind.

The light breeze seeped in through the cracked window ruffling softly through the curtains causing them to dance along , the sunlight mixed with sheets reflecting it's warmth and casting a bright halo around the sleeping figure.

Carlos groaned as he turned away from the light after attempting to shield his eyes but gave up moments later , he slowly reached his hand out blindly in search for warmth , only to frown at the empty space beside him , the messed covers and slightly pushed back pillows along with the hints of perfume confirmed his memories of someone else's presence from the night before , and not. Just anyone, it was Her , but now she's gone before he could convince her to stay a little longer.

His mind kept replying her name over and over again like a prayer until he buried his face down on the pillow trying to rid his mind of it's torment, but that only made it worse as her fragrance invades his senses and dragged him back into memories he longed for day and night .

He yearned for her touch and how she gently caressed his skin like a thread of bless as her fingers danced in tone with his heartbeat , he longed for her eyes and how they lit up with passion whenever they gazed up on his , he longed for her warmth, her embrace where he could swear his whole being melts in her arms .

His mind wanders to last night's whispers , to when she promised to stay over , drowning him in a daze with every kiss and every caress of her fingertips that made his heart flutter in glee , now all of it fade into the cold air , just when he thought he finally convinced her to give him a chance his high hopes came tumbling down with reality , but as much as he tried to he couldn't bring himself to let her go .

His phone laid on the nightstand face down, taunting him for not having her number saved even after all this, and every time , every single time it goes over his head and by the time he's out of the clouds he's filled with agony, regretting the forgetfulness, promising himself to get it the next time , but as usual, the moment he laid his eyes on a glimpse of her everything fade into oblivion, leaving nothing but her and the need to be close to her dictating his every sense.

Turning to his side he found himself making up excuses, trying to ease the pain a bit . Maybe she had a good reason, maybe something came up and she had to go , maybe, but a thousand maybe won't suffice his troubled mind , and when he finally made peace with the empty pit in his chest for the day he gathered what's left of his heart and got up to move on with his day , leaving his messed sheets and the remains of his lost moments of happiness behind as he made his way out .

His world came to a pause, as if life was brought back to his welting heart, and couldn't help but admire the sight before him . He prayed to God that if he was dreaming that he would never wake , he prayed to stay like this forever . She stood there , in the the middle of his kitchen humming softly along with the radio as she watched over the stove, swaying every now and then before focusing back on the task at hand , he noticed the plates sitting on the counter top , all neatly prepped and smelling devine, but what caught his attention was his shirt , draped around her form down and passed her mid thigh , one sleeve rolled up to her elbow and the other dangled past her fingers , slipping up every time she reached out to grasp something .

His feet took him further inside and he found himself standing right behind her , not helping himself as he reached his arms to sneak around her waist and buried his face on the crock of her neck where his shirt slipped down her shoulder, earning a gasp before it turned into a giggle as his unshaved stubble tickled her exposed skin , making his heart flutter as she leaned back into him " hi " he could only humm back before mumbling a " morning" back to her , too content to move away and she didn't dare to interrupt his peaceful state so she spoke quietly after turning the stove off and lifted one of her hands to absent-mindedly run through his already messed up hair , earning a deep sigh as he tightened his hold on her .

" I didn't know what you like more for breakfast so I made a bit of everything . Oh! I also made coffee if you want some , and I hope don't mind me messing you kitchen, I'll make sure to clean everything and put it back in place and.........." He didn't let he finish as he let go for a moment, startling her when he turned her around and lifted her to settle on the counter, before settling himself between her legs , assuring her in a very serious voice " you can burn down my kitchen for all I care , it won't matter " she tilted her head in amusement as she wrapped one arm around his neck while her other hand caressed his jaw as she asked " and what matters? " He leaned into her touch as he answered with sincerity " you stayed " .

Her face softened at his tone , his eyes shining with so much affection that made her lean in and plant a kiss on his lips before answering softly " I promised you I'll be here when you wake up " , he affirmed " you did " , she hummed with a nod then leaned in to plant a kiss on his lips , whispering as she leaned her forehead against his " I'll always stay for you " , he closed his eyes in bless before closing the gap and stealing a long toe curling kiss from her lips " please do " she nodded with a wide grin " always " .

Charles Leclerc X driver!reader

She wheezed when she blobbed down on a rock on the side of the trail , trying to recover from the long walk but all what anyone nearby could hear were her whistling breaths . Charles stood beside her with his hands on his hips looking mildly amused by her struggling giving her a moment before taking a bottle of water out of his backpack and handed it to her , she didn't waste a moment chugging it down in one go before she sighed loudly as she slumped over , wiping sweat from her face and glared up at his unaffected self pointing at him with disdain " YOU ! I'm never going for a ' just a little walk ' with you ever again! " He cackled at her empty threat , knowing she's all bark and no bite , but felt a teeny tiny bit of guilt for dragging her into this . the hike idea was his , having a burst of energy he dragged her along with him in his adventure, promising the view will be worth the long walk , he took the hidden route before and have seen the breathtaking scenery of the coast from up the hill from where they were , and somehow he managed to convince her to leave early in the morning to catch the cool breeze before the heat of noon hit , but now she could barely take two steps ahead before collapsing to her doom .

After their few minutes break he reach his hand out for her to take , linking their arms and promising her a whole weekend of her choice in compensation for making her suffer or at least that's how she put it , and not long after he eventually gave in to her complaining and offered to carry her the remaining two minutes walk , rolling his eyes at her dramatic tone, securing her on his back as she wore his backpack in exchange for him carrying her , and not two steps forward she almost strangled him with her arms wrapped tight enough to strangle him , he cried out " you'll choke me ! , and I'll fall back on you ! " She rolled her eyes after loosening her grip and called back " serves you right! , who go out in the crack of dawn!? Huh! Only serial killers and Psychos! And idiots like you! " emphasizing every word as she smacked his shoulder and reached to smack his forehead but he grabbed her hand before she could make any damage, or poke his eye out, and grip her fingers in his to secure it from any further attempt at his face , humming along as she kept on grumbling about the cold and the early morning, how she was rudely woken up , and how she'll make him pay only to halt her rambling when he squeezed her hand to get her attention before nodding ahead at the view from where he stood.

The morning breath flew gently and the now slowly peeking sunlight made the perfect sight as it gave the water a glimmering glow when it reflects off it's surface, making the long trip outcome worth the effort and the time , he gently set her down and let her grasp his hand as she leaned over in a step ahead, taking a better look at the tumbling water as it greeted the cliff side in high waves , she then leaned back with a content sigh , making him chuckle silently before nudging her with his shoulder " what do you think? Still want to burry me ? " She leaned her head on his shoulder and hummed as she squeezed his hand as she mumbled " maybe next Monday " he chuckled at her absentminded words before musing " works for me " and then left a kiss on her head before turning to enjoy this hidden gem for rest of their morning.
