Question for Lakia, when and how did she first figure out she’s a girl? I imagine it’s a cute story.

not my meme but you all do know about this right? It feels like it's getting buried right now and I feel like its proponents are trying to take advantage of that.

I think a lot of older people who grew up with a lack of modern internet scoff at the idea of the internet being a need and not a luxury in life, but like... I failed an entire semester because I didn't have internet (and we were in the pandemic, to boot. I couldn't go out.). I was literally fucked, academically, because I couldn't access the single point of failure because my entire school relied on the internet for our education. It's still like that! If something were to happen, I'd still be fucked. Now consider if your career and your rent and your entire life also relied on the internet being available to you.
If you don't want the internet to be treated like a need and not a luxury, don't treat the internet like a need. If you can't live life effectively or have other avenues to achieve the same goal, it's a need.

Please help me. My name is Shirley. I am autistic and disabled. I ran away from my abusive parents a few years ago. I’ve been moving from place to place. A couple of months ago I was able to find my own apartment. Things went downhill when I was fired from my job. It has been very difficult for me to find employment due to mental health issues. I have been transferring money out of my credit card to my debit card in order to pay my rent. I also have to pay interest. My credit card is about to be maxed out and I could get evicted. I don’t think I could survive out in the streets.
Please donate or reblog if you are not able to donate but would like to help. It would mean a lot to me if you could donate or share the link to my GoFundMe. Thank you so much

The unfortunate thing about vegetarian cooking is that it makes up most of my diet most days because it’s cheap and usually can be filling but if I live like that for long periods of time I never truly feel full and satisfied. That’s part of the reason I don’t think I’ll ever go full vegetarian. If I don’t eat meat once or twice a week I get this feeling that there’s something missing and a few days in I like lose the ability to feel satisfied. Then just like one meal with a bit of chicken or pork and I’m like yes I’m full and happy and satisfied again I’m happy to go back to vegetables and mushrooms for my next meal

I love animals that are, like, the opposite of cryptids: we know for a fact they exist and have a clear idea of what they look like because we have photographs and individual specimens, but we haven’t the faintest idea where they’re coming from - they just keep showing up out of nowhere, and the locations of their actual population centres are a complete mystery.
