Is there a particular fabric that should or shouldn't be used for frog? if I use a quilting fabric for example?
I prefer to use fleece for hand sewing applications cuz its stretchy and i feel like shapes up the best but ive seen it done successfully with a lot of different kinds. The reason tho for the preference is because the base is smaller than the sides and requires some manipulation of the fabric while doing the sewing for it to all line up and thats easier if it can stretch to meet the other piece.
If you use a stiffer material you may want to start off with making one out of some scrap fabric you dont care as much about to see how it turns out and then make adjustments from there.

god im going to be fucking hallucinating this video for months ok there’s just so much to this to break down
the initial fact they’re talking through a hand puppet with the oobi eyes
the horrible, horrible desynch between their words and the movements of the hand
lack of any clear place the hand is looking
“dwells in the depths”. just the whole sentence itself and the weird inflection on it.
the fact that the dude clearly already discovered this thing and was so moved by it they went to record it
“wuoah”, and the split second of open-palmed hand that no longer resembles a puppet
the weird fade in on the music and the fact it sounds a little distorted at first
the very specific but undefinable emotion conveyed by the music

I sell them from time to time in my hometown’s art center so quite a few have been dispersed
i dont think i posted these but here i made a little frog pattern to make tiny frog toys with my grandma
this is the first lil guy I made while still learning how i should sew it
