I deeply apologize for the delayed response, anon! The Book One: Moon novelization is actually a novel rather than a comic. The comic (Through the Moon) comes out in September.
Regardless, here are some photos of the inside of the book, which includes some neat maps as well as art of our favorite trio.
I’m about halfway through the book right now and am enjoying it thus far! I’ll probably make a post about my general thoughts when I’m finished. :)

For the Shipping Asks, numbers 11 and 12
11. What makes a ship great in your opinion?
I think at the core of all my romantic ships (and my own relationship) is friendship, which is perhaps why a lot of my ships are friends to lovers. I think it’s crucial that people connect on a deeper level beyond romantic or physical attraction because honestly, you should enjoy hanging out and spending time together. That person should be your best friend. I’m also drawn to ships that are built on mutual respect and support for one another and portray what a healthy relationship should look like to viewers (especially children and teens). I love rayllum so much because it checks all of these boxes for me. <3
12. What drives you away from a ship?
This isn’t always the case, but for me to ship something, I usually need content to support it. I need to feel like the characters actually have feelings for each other, so I’m not usually drawn to ships that I don’t think are supported in the story (though I don’t mind at all that other people are drawn to these ships and/or if they interpret specific scenes and interactions differently).
As far as pairings that I’ve liked but eventually stopped shipping, I think it’s usually because the relationship becomes unhealthy somehow (cheating, lack of mutual respect and support, etc.).

1. What was your first OTP?
Hands down Jake and Rose from American Dragon Jake Long! I was like...10 or 11 at the time the show was airing, but I actually discovered fandom and fanfiction a few years later because of my desperate need for more content. ADJL is also actually what made me want to start watching Avatar, since Jake and Rose’s VAs also play Zuko and Katara, respectively. Interestingly, I then proceeded to ship Kataang instead of Zutara lol.
21. Have you ever received hate for a ship you liked?
Yes, unfortunately...though it’s been a rare occurrence. I think the worst situation was being in the Attack on Titan fandom as an eremika shipper circa 2013-14...I think I actually got a death threat or two.
24. What is your favorite canon ship?
This probably goes without saying *gestures broadly at my blog* but it’s definitely rayllum. We are so blessed <3

Hi! I've just finished reading my first two bits of fan fiction ever, both Rayllum related of course and found after you reblogged them (specifically "Looking For A Way To Break In" and "(If Time Is Money Then) I'll Spend It All For You"). I really enjoyed both, and was wondering if you had any recommendations?
Hi! Those are actually two of my favorites as well! :) If you haven’t yet, I would definitely recommend checking out “The Midnight Compass” by @deetheteadrinkingdragon and “A Delicate Arrangement” and “A Delicate Condition” by @jellyjay. I know there are so many other fantastic rayllum fanfics within the community, but I’m sorry to say that I suck and I’m woefully behind on fanfiction at the moment. Also, @raayllum has an incredibly organized and impressive fic recs tag that I’d recommend checking out as well. I hope this helps! Happy reading!! :)

Wait wait wait wait wait! Major lightbulb moment. What if Viren's imprisonment spell works on any reflective surface. Putting the victim in a sub-dimension within. He just uses coins because they're easier to transport then say... A mirror. What if the same spell that imprisoned Aaravos, was the same spell Viren uses?
This is a super interesting concept and parallel! It would definitely be nice because then maybe the moon fam isn’t trapped in a void somewhere but instead could potentially have a “well-appointed” prison like Aaravos? Though I think they are more likely trapped in a void-type situation, it’s nice to think that maybe they aren’t totally miserable. Thanks for sharing!! <3
