“Exactly,” Bog said, unperturbed by her
self-satisfaction. “A flower won’t make
me ‘look good’, Princess.” Nothing
would, and he was quite aware of the fact.
But, if Dawn was insistent upon giving him
a flower.... “Ah.... what kind of.... flower....
does Marianne like?”
“Right. Because it’s her doing it.” She
arched a brow after that, much too proud of
herself for pointing out his weakness. When
he directed a question at her, though, the
smugness on her face faded into a grin.
“Cause it’d look good on you. Don’t you
want to look good?”

“What does that even mean? Are you trying to provoke me?”
“All I can see is that there is a certain someone with problems to lift up his rear from that throne of his. But hey! Maybe you could give your staff a new use now that we are at it”

“That’s different,” Bog ground out;
he was fairly certain Marianne wasn’t
a flower type, But even if she was, he
would be happy to wear her gift. Dawn’s
reasons for trying to stick a flower on
him were entirely unknown. “Why are
you doing this, exactly?”
“You’d let Marianne do it if
she tried. I bet you would,”
the fairy countered as she
rifled through the assortment of
flowers in her arms. “Just one?
A single flower won’t kill you.”
