UPDATE: Moving
Nate is moving to my multi, it's just hard to have the muse for him on a solo blog when he's not getting a lot of attention so it's easier for me to just have him there. threads i do have for Nate will be moved over there as well! so if you're interested in interacting with Nate still and a bunch of other new muses, give @becomelions a follow! as that is where he will be for the foreseeable future.

He followed behind and into the bar, blue eyes scanning his surroundings like the train soldier he was. It couldn't be helped, assessing his situation almost instantly. It was easy to see and feel several lingering gazes on him as he looked down at her after a brief moment of hesitation. "I don't know about lucky." He shrugged, the serum making that possible when it hadn't even been his choice. Nate didn't need to tell her that though, he was sure she knew. A nod was then giving as he reached into his pocket for a worn out wallet. "No, I got this. Thanks, they do pay me some." Nate was sure it wouldn't be entirely legal if the didn't, but then again he was legally dead. It was a mess, that was all he knew. Sighing, he walked over to the bar and ordered a pint of beer as he sat down.
she nodded a thanks to him as they walked inside. alice felt like an asshole, partially because she knew for a fact that she was being one. she had a point to hammer home though, so she had to get past that. "well, lucky you!" she didn't drink at all, so her tolerance was shit and she knew that. at least she didn't put her foot in her mouth again and make some joke about everything he'd gone through being worth it. she knew she would have truly regretted that to. "go ahead then, like i said, i'll find a table and scroll for a while. do you need cash or did uncle sam give you spending money?" she was already scanning for a nice dark corner with a view of the room and the door.

And there it was, a phrase he's heard plenty of times before. People wanted to trust him but that was different than actually trusting him. Not that he could blame them entirely. How could you trust someone like him? Everything he has done, his mind still not fully his. Nathaniel was a liability for more than one reason, for now they were dangling help in front of him so long as he helped and that was what he was doing. Because he wanted to be free but who knows now if that would happen. Still, he sighs out and nods. He remains quiet for that, all until they start to get closer to the bar and he hears his limit. "You do know I can't get drunk, right?" He questions, opening the door for her. "One is fine." He adds, following her inside.
"i want to trust you. i'm just making it clear where we stand out here." she was still the one with her ass on the line for giving nate this freedom. most people wouldn't do that, they would have held what he wanted over his head as something for him to work towards and prove he could be what SHIELD wanted him to be. she could see the bar down the sidewalk, it really was a short walk which was why so many agents went there to get drinks. "you get your one drink, nothing goes badly, and maybe next time you can get two." so maybe, she wasn't better than every other agent, but at least nate would know she meant it when she said she could get him what he wanted.

A part of him told him to leave that where it lay, not say anything else. Nate was actually fine with leaving that a mystery. "Sure." He answers with a nod, noticing easily how that was a welcome answer for the smaller figure. Something else that at least was showing him that he was learning more and more how to be a person again in social situations, to an extent. When the doors opened, he followed behind slightly once more to have her lead him. Nate still wasn't entirely sure where they were going outside of a bar. Though he couldn't help but give her a look as they made their way outside. "You don't think I can behave myself?" The redhead questions as they begin their walk. "I just wanted one drink." He adds with a small chuckle and smile. "I think we'll be okay." So long as no one tries anything.
she didn't really want to unpack whether or not steve was a twink with him. alice was glad that he didn't continue the discussion. she knew a few people would have. "much appreciated, man." she breathed a sigh of relief when the elevator opened at the ground floor. it wasn't that she was particularly uncomfortable besides her incredibly stupid comment about steve, she just didn't want to be stuck in the confined space with that kind of awkward energy. "guess you do." she lead the way from the elevator to the front door of the building. alice didn't have a problem treating her companion like a human, but she still wanted to ensure that he knew she wasn't the type of person who wasn't going to enforce the expectations SHIELD had for them both. "behave yourself."

If Nate could see himself now, he would be ashamed. He lost control, after fighting so hard to escape and keep himself with her he was back to square one. Almost. He was close to it, all that was needed to be done was get rid of her one way or another and he'd be on his way back to Austria where he'd be wiped. She was his only hope at getting him to remain here and find a way to revert him back, free him from the trance the words always put him in. For now, however, she'd have to fight someone she loved despite him not mentally being there. He wasn't in control of his own actions, he'd never hurt her. However, what he had been made into would. And no doubt she sees it in his eyes, his lack of response as he comes towards her and reaches out to subdue. From what he could see, from observation, she wasn't someone who could fight and so putting her into a hold that would either cause her to pass out or die was his plan. That was until she revealed her strength and speed to him.
His brow furrowed a moment before eyes widened briefly as it all hit. She was more than she appeared to be. Her grip was tight on his wrist but she left his other hand free. But her pleas distract him just enough for a moment, his brow furrowing and head tilting as she speaks as if she knows him. But then there is that urging in his programing to get the job done and he pushes the feelings and confusion down to do what had to be done. His handler was growing annoyed, his jaw tensing as he whispered a few curses under his breath before moving to a new position for a better view and urging him to do what he is ordered. He didn't expect the perfect soldier to be overtaken in the follow moment, assuming nothing would bother him when it did. He had thought wrong. And as Nate swings his arm to try and do his job, she ducks under it only to then find his own face being slammed into the wall as she pins his arm to his back.
The force in which it is done is partially his fault, her using his momentum against him. Her apology falls on deaf ears as he pushes himself off he wall after gathering himself. His eyes once more adjusting to the dark after the slam, turning to see her running towards where his handler had to be. His stern expression remains, emotionless as he he moves towards her from behind. He reaches out for her nightgown to pull her to him where his arms could lock around her through and head, effectively placing her in a sleeper hold. From there, training would kick in once more and he'd no doubt snap her neck. All he needed was that grip as he reaches out and as he does he finds purchase. Fingers curl as he grabs her night gown before pulling her back towards his body.
Tumblr media
THE GAZE that stares back at her is not one she knows, and her own gaze grows critical. dark blue eyes are almost black in the low light, watching every move he makes as her ears strain to find the source of the other voice in the room. her senses are fine tuned, better than what humans would consider average, but she is no fox, she cannot see in the dark. she pinpoints it, she thinks, or at least the general direction it comes from, and she slides ever so slightly along the wall in that direction. her heart breaks when her gaze centers on nate again, yet she must push it down. if there is one thing she has always excelled at it is putting duty ahead of affection, and so for now she can bite back her tears. if she wept it would do nothing to keep him alive, to keep him safe. it was for the best that she tried to end this now. kill the other, break their hold on nate. simple…easy…maybe easy if she had ever really learned to fight. from a distance she could pick the other off without a thought, but with nate between them?
as he reaches for her her hand shoots out, grabbing his wrist. if she squeezed tight enough she knew that the bone might splinter and crack, at least if he had been as fragile as he was before. she keeps pressure, pushing back with just enough force to keep his grasp out of reach of her neck. ’ nate, please. i don’t want to hurt you. ’ truthfully, torvi isn’t sure she can hurt him, perhaps just keep him at bay long enough to get past him, ’ its me, remember? ’ she imagines whoever they sent must be getting impatient and so she waits for it, to hear weight shift from one foot to the other, the slight creaking of the floorboard. her eyes widen when she does hear it, and quickly she moves, ducking beneath his arm before twisting the one she holds. just enough to switch their positions, he between her and the wall, she between him and the other man. errant black curls fall over her shoulders, some in her face as she does. between that and the nightgown she wears, she finds herself slower than she’d like.
even still she lets go, turning quick to head in the direction. of the voice she’d heard. ’ i’m sorry. ’ despite herself she apologizes, for she has never raised anything but a gentle hand to him before. but getting past him was more important. if this hy*dra agent couldn’t speak anymore that would end it, right? like pulling a plug on a computer, it should stop everything. ( she doesn’t want to consider the idea that he may have to be temporarily taken out for this to happen, doesn’t want this to happen again and so the other must go first) all she can do is hope that her speed was enough to catch him by surprise and so she attempts to run, bare feet across wooden floors. heart pounding as she attempts to protect the one thing in this realm which truly matters to her.

Somehow, despite that, she hadn't followed through. Normally she was someone who stuck to her words but that was one time he was glad she didn't. If she had? They wouldn't be here right now. She wouldn't have that ring around her finger. Because in the end he still chose her, he always did. He chose to think of her, stay with him, write to her, all of what meant to him to be with her while being gone for the war. He wasn't doing it to end things, he was doing it for duty and he was glad in the end that she saw that he wasn't picking between the two as in the end he'd no doubt have been drafted anyway. If things had gone as he wished, he would have came back like any normal man and married her. That hadn't been in the cards and yet the outcome had been the same, she was his wife and bringing him that peace he had hoped for despite it all.
They had a second chance to be together and this time it was being fully embraced. "Yeah I do." He says softly, hand remaining wear it was as she leaned into his touch. This was what he had envisioned for them, back when everything was simpler. The two of them together in bed, married, planning their future with a smile on their faces. And even if they were there now, in a way, it wasn't the same. She was a goddess practically and he a super soldier who somehow had found themselves in love and it was one that last decades despite being apart. He had never forgotten her, he found. The dreams in the ice, when he had them, her face was there. Even if he hadn't known her name at the time, he saw her face and felt an empty void in his chest. All of that was gone now, he was full. Nate was happy. And they were going to have a family. The smile on his face, one that hadn't been there when all of this started, now found it hard to fade away.
A chuckle leaves him as he nods as much as he could with his head against the pillow. "Now I am a little worried." He replies, looking over at her. "She probably told you about everything." His memory drifts for a moment to his mother, his smile soften just a bit at the memory before returning to Torvi. "Deal." He says it quietly before their lips meet in a kiss. Always she matched how he felt and it's so easy for him to see how much she loves him in that act alone. When the pull apart, his smirk is there while his hand against her cheek moves to her hip as she sat atop him. "Do you see me complaining?" He questions with a brief furrow of his brow before meeting her lips again. His hand moves once more to press into the small of her back to bring her closer, as if that was possible. "Whatever you want, Torvi." He say it mumbled against her lips with full meaning behind it. His intention had always been for that, always to make her happy and have her want for nothing. That would even fall into tonight if she wished.
Tumblr media
A LAUGH escapes her at his admission, in truth, similar sentiments had been shared back home, but then again in vanaheim, she had been known to make her displeasure known in several ways. never did she yell, yelling was beneath her, for old men without enough sense to make argument otherwise. but she had spread rumors, ostracized those who crossed her, slipped one comment past her brother and watched a world crumble. here? she had preferred the silent treatment, cutting people abruptly from her own life. or as she had told him, that if he left to join the army he should never come back, she never wanted to see him. it had been a bold faced lie but then no one had ever called her on it before. no one had ever chosen anything over her. he had, but more than that he was signing his own death sentence and she hated him for it.
she hadn’t been able to turn him away, this moment was proof of that. he had joined, fought and seemingly died in a war and yet here she remained in his arms, welcoming him home. her anger could have never lasted. ’ yes? ’ she smiles, leaning into his touch. this. this is what she had given up her home for, given up the ties she had to her family. for him, for the love she had for him. for the ache in her chest that had not dissipated or even lessened over the decades at the thought of never feeling his touch again. and it was so very worth it in her eyes. no matter what further difficulties they faced the future they spoke of now and even the present they lived in were worth all of it. whatever time she got with him would be worth it, every second was already worth it. and the idea that they might someday have children of their own, that the future she hopes for might become reality? she was willing to risk everything for that.
’ she told me plenty, and when they misbehave i’ll get to be one of those women who say her children are just like their father. ’ not that she had ever anticipated being so hands on with her children until she had found him again. a loveless marriage with children largely raised by nurses had been what she expected. torvi nods, ’ another night. ’ his kiss makes her heart beat faster in her chest, her lips moving against his just as desperately, she loved him, she hoped by now he would understand that. even if she was always happy to remind him. when he speaks she quirks a brow, ’ it was merely a question, suggestion even, i will give you that. ’ the brunette smiles against his lips, ’ not an assertion. ’ the words are mumbled as she leans down to kiss him again.

If anything, he's happy to see her comply as compared to before and how they first met. Then again she knew at this point what the danger was and he clearly had the experience for it whereas she did not. Nate, however, wasn't going to put all his eggs in one basket just yet. He wasn't going to breathe easy until he knew they had some distance away from HYDRA and she could split off and enjoy whatever life she had while he continued going on the run. That was his fate it seemed.
Following behind into the stairwell, he took lead again as they descended as it felt the best option seeing as no one was going to follow. Well, at least not from the floor they were on previously. If any come up he would take them out silently as best he could. A skill he gained from both the army and the training they drilled into him when he was nothing but their killing machine. The further down to the first floor they got, the more cautious he became as he knew what could happen when freedom seemed close. One could get sloppy, he's seen it plenty of times when the situation was flipped.
That was when he heard a voice speaking into an ear piece. Nate held up his hand to tell her to stop before creeping up quietly to look around the corner. Of course they'd have all exits covered. Taking in a breath, he did his best to sneak up behind the other to then lock him in a choke hold before easily snapping his neck in his arms. Only then did he motion her forward and to join him at the fire exit. "Be careful, we don't know if anyone is on the other side."
@blutschatten continued from [X]
She doesn’t argue as he takes the lead for a moment. She might be impervious to harm, but she’s got not fighting abilities to speak of. She really should look at fixing that, but who has the time when on the run and homeless?
She slipped into the stairwell and waited for him to follow, glad that her nerves seemed to have leveled off. The smoke escaping her had all but vanished and while the situation was still dire, it seemed like they were actually going to get away unscathed.
Good.
She’d worry about the problem of where to stay for the night after putting miles between her and the men hunting them.
She waited for him to take the lead again, never noticing what he’d done to the door. Quiet as she could she followed a half step behind him, careful not to crowd him, but also mindful of not allowing too much distance between them.
Her heart was racing in anticipation to the freedom that awaited them. Just a little farther!

That hadn't been what he expected to hear, despite not knowing what it was. He probably should have in hindsight. Terms change and he knew that but this was one he couldn't even recall being close to something he knew. So he stands there and listens, his brow brow arching in the process. That wasn't at all what he thought it meant, then again he hadn't really had an idea what it did mean in the first place. "But...he wasn't stick thin.." His brow then furrows as head tilts to the side. Clearly he didn't entirely get it but he shook his head to move along, not wanting to question it much as he felt it would open up a door to even more slang thrown his way. He could only take so much at once and that, at the moment, was enough. "Well, I'm not going to tell anyone you said it." Mainly because he was going to avoid anyone who might be watching him too close. "I can handle that not changing. So I at least have that, I guess."
alice had spoken so casually she had forgotten her companion probably would have no idea what she meant. now, she couldn't help but laugh at how strange it must have sounded to him and how it was even funnier to explain. "it's most definitely a modern thing." "it's uh- it's something gay people call a gay guy who's like stick thin and has no hair...god, that's weird to explain and incredibly unprofessional of me." this would go down in the history books as yet another piece of fodder for a human resources case against her. she just couldn't keep her mouth shut. "i'm sorry," she chuckled awkwardly. "cursing is mostly the same, yeah. luckily i think it's probably always gonna be the same few words and then sometimes those few words will get smushed into new ones." she was relieved when the elevator started counting off numbers that got them close to the ground floor.

Hearing the two words leave her lips, Nate couldn't help but smile just ever so slightly. It was nice, being like that to someone again. It almost made him feel like he could be his old self, that it was within reach even if that wasn't entirely true. At least it wasn't in his mind, he wasn't even sure how he'd able to do that and with his hands so strained with innocent blood was he even worth it? He couldn't think about that, not right now. He had to focus on her and helping her patch him up as best they could given the situation. "I don't know when that day will be...but I'd welcome it." He half mumbles out.
Though his brow furrows as she goes on. He didn't have to apologize? Nate was bringing her into his mess, he felt that deserved an apology. "Well I still owe it to you, you didn't have to do any of this." Icy blue eyes look down as some of the wounds he could see. "You're the doc here, I just follow along." He chuckles a bit but winces when he finds it hurts. "Whatever you say, I'm sure it'll work."
' mon couer, ' she said under her breath. blonde hair had been pulled back from her face, but she had to lift one hand to use the back of her wrist to brush some strands back. ' hopefully one day you won't be a mass of scar tissue. ' she was trying to inject some levity into the situation, as she adjusted the black gloves on her hands.
' don't be sorry, beau, ' she said softly. ' it's only blood and nothing i haven't dealt with before. ' she was no medic, but basic training had given her an idea of what to do. ' none of these look like they need stitches, thankfully, because i never paid attention in home ec.. ' she glanced up at him with a smile. ' but if we approximate the edges, steri strips should help.. '

He hated dragging her into this but she was the only person he could trust at this rate and he couldn't handle all of his wounds. Not that Nate hadn't been doing that before, but some were harder to reach than others. It was especially hard when he had more than one wound, making it nearly impossible to take care of himself completely without much struggle or pain. So, here he was caked in blood in front of her sitting on a metal table in an abandoned building.
Too weak to shrug, he can only offer a small flash of a weak smile. "I have a fair amount." Nate replies as he remains as still as he could. He was used to moments like this, but none had been as gentle or caring as she had been. Then again, HYDRA hadn't cared so long as he could still work and heal. Sucking in a breath, jaw clenching, he couldn't help the tensing his muscles went through as she started to take care of him. "Sorry about the mess." He huffs out.
@blutschatten — [ CLOTHES OFF ]
this man got wounded more than margaux had ever seen — it's like he had a magnet in his ass for the operatives tracking him down. as he sat on the metal table in the disused med building in a long abandoned compound, she took a brief moment to relish things being quiet, for now.
' i don't see how you're not covered in scars, beau, ' she said, using a pair of scissors to cut his ragged, bloody t-shirt off, exposing washboard abs and a cut chest slick with blood. using a gauze pad, she managed to clear most of the field, thankful the blood wasn't pouring out of him.

He had a long stride, easily keeping up with the smaller agent as they made their way down the hall and to the elevator where they'd go down and get to street level and get to the bar she mentioned. But they had to move through everything first. "Right, I remember reading that or at least that's what they told me." Nathaniel replies, recalling when they said somethings to make him less defensive than when they found him. Though he's caught off guard by a word he didn't know. "Twink? What the hell is a twink?" His brows furrow as he attempts to put two and two together but nothing is really coming to mind. "Is that a modern thing because....I haven't exactly caught on to some of that yet...I'm just happy cursing is still the same." He mumbles the last few words more so for himself.
alice walked quickly, not worrying about the taller man being able to keep up or not. "that was the SSR, which was basically like SHIELD before SHIELD, but yeah." it was sad to think that he was missing seventy years of time. she knew there were parts of SHIELD, older factions that still held tight to the old spy attitudes, that didn't want her to feel any empathy for him or bucky, but she couldn't help it. she felt bad for him. "SHIELD used to be about science, can you believe that? god, i would not have been hired if they were still looking for people to pump steroids into some twink they picked up off the street." most people would have a little more respect, but when you'd actually met the guy and had him at your table for thanksgiving, you got to say a little bit more of your own opinion.

Nathaniel wasn't the kind to joke around, he had been serious. And that didn't seem to be something that sat well with her. She seemed capable but this was his mess and that was the last thing she needed to be involved in. Hell, he didn't want anyone involved but himself, it made it easier and safer. But explaining that? Well, that meant admitting something he couldn't exactly do to just anyone. Because then what would she do? Try to kill him? It actually might be safer than giving him the chance to somehow end up back in the hands of HYDRA. That was why he was fighting back, every day to avoid being back in their grasp. Still, he can't help but roll his eyes as she gives him a smartass reply back.
"Hilarious." He grumbles mainly to himself as he looks away, over to see how clear the area actually was at the moment. "I am not a hostage." The redhead knew that was obvious since he was completely fine and armed. She had only caught him after he'd been temporarily been caught by a flashbang. He'd recovered himself just fine since then. His jaw tensed, however, as she called him out on his bluff. Honestly he should have seen that coming, she seemed like the type to be able to read more easily than he liked. Despite how well he as at hiding things, some were trained well enough to see through that. There weren't many but she seemed to be one.
"Those are my only two options?" Nathaniel questions, though clearly there was an annoyed tone accompanying it. Sighing, he moved to his feet and rolled his shoulders back. "Fine, I'll go with you. For now." He motions forward with a nod of his head. "Lead the way."
she looked at him for a long hard moment. it was typical, men were macho and could do fine on their own — they didn’t need any help, especially not from a petite blonde operator. she let one hand rest on her knee before lifting her hand to her radio, not pressing the button but rather mimicking the krssh sound of radio static.
‘ colonel, this strange man i found in a room during a sweep says we should go, that we shouldn’t be here. ‘ she paused, imitated the sound again, and then fixed the redheaded man with another stare.
‘ he says no. ‘
of course, no real conversation had taken place, but if this guy could be a smartass, so could she.
‘ hostage rescue has to get involved to, you know, rescue the hostages. ‘ not that he seemed to be one, seeing as he was armed. she shifted on her feet, before standing up. she wore no name patches, or any insignia to reveal what country she came from. she was, for all intents and purposes, a ghost.
‘ non, you’re a bullshitter, i can tell. you won’t be right behind anyone. ‘ she adjusted her rifle to back in front of her, a more comfortable position, her hand naturally falling to the trigger guard, habit more than anything. ‘ you can come with me, or i can shoot you in both knees and drag you bleeding with me. which sounds more comfortable to you, beau? ‘ it was clear from her tone that she wasn’t about to cower under the threatening timbre of his voice or size.

He gives an expression of an 'oh' as she explains. It made sense to be ready for a scenario like that and he wasn't sure how he hadn't thought it would be here like that. SHIELD seemed to try and be ready for everything. "That makes sense." Nathaniel nodded as he walked along side her, tossing a periodic glance her way to show he was listening. "There might be but SHIELD wasn't around when I was...well, me last. I'm still learning as much as I can about the last seventy or so years." He shrugs. "But they made Captain America right? I mean I think that's one of the more obvious ones to read about out there. I recently started to remember when I heard about it when I was in Italy."
"the other bar, it's for practice," alice explained as she lead the way to the real bar. there was still stuff about SHIELD she couldn't tell him, but this she could explain and she hoped that made him feel better about his situation. "my team used it for a practice exercise for a situation where there were multiple combatants and there was no way for us to get the civilians inside with us out." there were a few other sets they trained on throughout various SHIELD bases, an office building style set, a grocery store and a movie theater included (although the movie theater was actually functional like the bar, and they used it for it's actual purpose as well.) "SHIELD's been around for so long there's probably more weird little niches i don't even know about yet."

This wasn't a situation he preferred to be in, but it was also all he knew. Cleaning up the mess of trying to live what little life he could get. This freedom he had clawed his way to get after years of forced servitude. Even if it was a mess, was tiring, it was better than being back under their control and forced to forget who he was and to be what they made him. That wasn't what he was raised to be and he wasn't about to let it happen again now that he had it back. Thankfully, he wouldn't have to add another body to that list, though seeing how she was different in her own right made him question if that would have been possible. It left him with more questions, different ones he hadn't even intended on asking because he never even thought he'd be in this situation. However, he knew better than to ask because he no doubt knew what she felt like. There were few people who could and it seemed two of them were in the same room. And the interaction only gets more unexpected with the fact she knew what he was, to an extent anyway. It was enough to make him be caught off guard completely. Nathaniel ignores the soldier comment and just works his best to return to his indifferent expression as he watches her.
The suggestion makes his brow arch, not that he was upset to get it but it wasn't expected. On top of that, his problem now was transportation. "Right...." He takes note of it, doesn't ask how she knows that either. Seeing as she knew what he was going through, Nathaniel could assume enough of how she might know a spot like that. "And if I don't have a way to get outside of town at the moment?" He'd hot wire a car or a motorcycle before he left, whatever he could get his hands on at the time when he needed to leave. "I don't think that's something you have up your sleeve is it?" Seeing as he didn't know what else she was capable of. But then an idea came to him. "Can't you just set them on fire? Enough to melt the bodies and turn them into ash or is that something you can't do?"
SHE HATED THESE SITUATIONS.    the ones that left her with more questions than answers, as well as having to deal with outcomes and possibilities that could one day lead back to bite her in the ass. it was not the way she wished to operate. especially given the fact that she was just trying to hide out herself. to avoid not only her brother, but the two organizations, that were hunting her down. like a prized weapon they needed to control.    it was bullshit she knew it. given she was human. but when it came to her, many people had forgotten that. sighing softly. she lets her gaze travel to the ceiling as she quickly works everything through in her mind, not caring that she was showing the twin scars that ran along her neck, that was a total different conversation. plus it wasn’t like she’d give the answers away, she didn’t know him enough, for that conversation.
Tumblr media
she could see the shock   ━   as it passes through his very system.   no doubt he hadn’t expected her to put the connections together, of how he was just like barnes. the difference there was, she’d managed to hack into every database she could to read about barnes. so she knew more than what was in the papers, and that was what was fuelling her thoughts. as she knew he was not, the only winter soldier.    ❛   fair enough, soldier.   ❜    she mutters. ending the conversation, but at least teasing him that her mind was working in a way that wouldn’t much, benefit him. but it wasnt like she was about to do anything about it. she had no reason too.    (    not yet anyway!    )    eyes once more trail to the dead bodies, as she thinks over his words. they sounded so familiar to how she was, it was amusing in some way. but still she sighs. knowing he had to truly get rid of them. or he would be caught.  ❛   if you’re gonna dump ‘em, choose the old stables on the outskirts of town. cops don’t patrol it often, only once in the morning. should give you a head start to get outta town.   ❜    SHE’D QUESTION HERSELF LATER.   on why she was helping him, but right now, it felt right. so she didn’t see much wrong, about giving him some advice. not only for himself to get out of town. but her too. because if hydr was coming, she’d rather not be found. plus something of this magnitude would get her brother suspicious. and that shit, she did not need.
