drew some art to show off a little headcanon i thought of :]
basically the gist of it is that costumes that change stuff like a Cookie's hair, eyes, or whatever (not their clothes, their clothes stay the same) are a direct effect of being exposed to enough "seasonal magic" of an area
(alternatively could call it flavor magic? considering certain costumes have a theme but no specific season)
in the case of this art in particular, the top two are Dark Choco as he'd change if he went somewhere that was predominantly Autumn-like (becomes some sort of pumpkin flavor) or Spring-like (gets candied like a chocolate egg).
the bottom center one is where i feel like he would've first encountered flavor magic, becoming spicy as Young Prince when he goes to dragon valley to get the strawberry jam sword. maybe that's why his hair remains red? cuz he got different magic while influenced by the spicy flavor? idk lmao
but yea! that's my explanation

cant tell you how bad it feels to constantly tell other artists to come to tumblr, because its the last good website that isn't fucked up by spoonfeeding algorithms and AI bullshit and isn't based around meaningless likes

i thought of a Smiling Critter oc in the middle of the night so ive made this little guy real lmao
he's a little red dragon! maybe sort of prince-like to be the opposite of Craftycorn being a unicorn princess, but it isn't explored much in the cartoon as he becomes a minor character once he's done being an antagonist
regardless his name is Cozy Comfort (like comfort food) :]

i think i've decided what i'm gonna end up doing with ko-fi (which can be found at /chex171452 if anyone wants it)
i'm going to use it for:
a place for tips if people want to just drop money (though i also added a listing for $3+ doodles if anyone wants something small)
a secondary place to store my commission listings if anyone wants something more "official"
posting WIPs (whenever i feel like it)
posting high res versions of art and art memes (once a day at 1 pm)
selling adopts and/or bases (i'll still put them on my selling Toyhou.se, i'll just also be letting people pay for them on ko-fi)
random misc updates maybe? i'm not sure what yet
i'm not sure what will be member exclusive as i currently have no supporters, but i recommend at least following! following is free AND you can get desktop notifications and/or emails as soon as i post!
