Ok this is is the only ask I'm gonna be answering about this. Consider this my new pinned post for the foreseeable future.

I'm gonna save you all the dramatic details and cut to the chase. I'm in a bad way and my life is kinda-sorta flipped upside down. I have no idea how to adapt to a new normal. And me being the clever dick I am decided that I don't actually have to accept the new normal—I can just do what I've always done and leave. At the very least, until I get my head on straight and figure out how to be a good man again, and how to accept love that isn't tied to a transaction, and how to detangle my self-worth from my self-image. What do I do when people don't need—or want—me anymore?
