Okay about my Gaz post because it's mostly people who haven't played the games and are only in the fandom to hc CoD characters as uwu anime girlies (especially on tiktok) how are you gonna include some German mf who sounds like he belongs in JoJo Rabbit (I love König as much as the next person but some of his 'stans' are insufferable) in 141 edits/content and not fucking Kyle who's literally part of the 141. It's a bit weird when you include Price,Ghost, Soap and then boom König, like WHERE did that mf even come from😭 Anyway stan my delicious beautiful sergeant bc he solos.

you’re curled up, eyelids heavy, an open book on your lap. waiting for your boyfriend was becoming more and more tiring, yet you were determined to welcome him home properly. finally letting sleep get to you, you close your book and get up; frowning to yourself. you can’t help but stretch a little as you put your book away, moving to your bedroom. the room held many intimate and special memories, yet right now it felt like an empty room. your home never seemed so full without kyle.
it was hard on both of you; him being away almost all the time. you both have had many conversations about how to stay happy in such a rough situation, and settled on daily texts or calls, yet sometimes those fall through. your least favourite thing is not knowing if your boyfriend is dead or dying whilst you were sat at home, absolutely helpless. you dread the news that he could be gone, ripped from your life, sometimes you want to beg and grovel for him to not go on missions- but it’s his job, and you love him. you just needed hope.
settling into bed after your nighttime routine, you switch your phone off and curl up against your sheets. kyle’s pillow was cold, his scent gone within the three months he had been away. you woke up everyday, expecting him to be there, but he wasn’t. it shattered your heart each time, yet you can’t help but reach over; only for your palm to hit the empty side of the bed. you missed how he cuddled you, how his lips would gently brush against your shoulders and neck, how he’d always whine because the sun would hit him first. snuggling into your duvet, you close your eyes, finally falling asleep.
kyle steps inside the home, slowly closing and locking the door with his house keys. carefully toeing off his boots, he glances around. the house was dark, so he assumed you had gone to sleep. as silently he can, he moves to the bedroom, getting some new clothes. he sees your body curled up in bed, his heart warming. kyle refrains from kissing your slightly parted lips, moving from the bedroom to go take a shower. it felt amazing to finally be under running hot water after a long mission, in his own home too. his taut, aching muscles relaxed as he cleans up, happily using some of your body wash to relish your scent; how he had missed it. every little thing about you, to your habits, your tiny flaws, your laugh- everything came as a comfort to kyle.
entering the bedroom once more with a towel around his waist, he’s quick to dress himself. you shuffle a little as light seeps into the bedroom, so he quickly dips out to turn off the light again. kyle pulls a shirt over his head as he walks back in, closing the door over as he walks over to the bed. as slowly as he can, kyle slips beneath the duvet beside you. you roll over, a lazy noise escaping your lips. he watches you for a moment in the dim light that seeps through the curtains. “kyle..?” you ask meekly, hand reaching out, gently touching his chest. “hi, sweet girl.” he mutters, voice hoarse due to lack of use. “welcome home, baby.” you smile, your own voice sleepy as you move over; cuddling into him. kyle wraps his arms around you, pushing his face against your head. “i missed you so much.” he sighs, rubbing your back gently.
“i missed you too, baby.” you respond, kissing his neck as you squeeze his waist, hugging him closer. “not as much as i did… believe me, i wanted to come home last week, but something came up…” he sighs, cradling your head a little as he closes his eyes. “is everything okay?” you ask, growing a little concerned. “yeah… don’t worry, baby. it’s all okay.” he assures you, kissing the top of your head. “you… you don’t have to go back soon, do you?” you frown, squeezing him tighter. kyle let’s out a gentle exhale. “we’ll talk about it more in the morning, just get some rest.” he mutters, hand rubbing your back. “kyle…” you mumble, pulling away to look at him in the dim light. “don’t worry. i’m not going anywhere, it’s just that this thing is pending. we don’t know if we’ll get the okay to do the mission price is planning.” kyle presses a sweet kiss to your lips, relishing how you feel against him.
“like when you had to go get kate?” you ask softly, he hums. “yeah, kinda… this is a lot more dire, i think. i’ll know more in the coming week.” he responds, fingertips dancing against your cheekbone ever so gently. “get some rest, baby. you need it.” your boyfriend whispers to you, kissing you again. you hum, curling close as you squeeze him tight. “i missed having you here.” you mumble, letting a yawn escape you. “i missed you too; but don’t worry. i’m home now.” kyle responds, rubbing your back soothingly until you fell asleep in his arms. he allows himself a few minutes savouring your presence- being shot at almost all the time for a job really made you value your loved ones. eventually, his exhaustion after three gruelling months got the better of him, and kyle fell asleep- finally in his own bed beside you.

I've got Riley's past ready, but I'm still not sure how she met Gaz. I was thinking they might have met in Picadilly as she was part of the team arrived along with Price.
And the drawing, the truth is that I liked the sketch more than the final result, it stresses me to do the lineart and the lineart. My drawing style is a bit messy, but i think it looks good.

2009's Riley | I like more the CODMW 2009 plot, but my only problem with that timeline is the white Gaz— but let's pretend he doesn't exist, just Elliot’s Gaz (sorry not sorry).
And about Price's surname, in both lines Riley's father dies when she was a child because of the Russians, so he takes care of her, but in the 09's line Price legally adopts Riley. I have slightly different stories for each timeline, but in the end they will always end up being the same, except that in one Riley sees Price as a father (09) and in the other she doesn't even like him (22).
Extra: In this line she is only seeking revenge for her father's death, so she has no S/O, or maybe i thinks in Soap for Gaz's absence, but it’s not the main point of this.
