avalon let out a laugh. “yeah would you want me near kids? cause i definitely wouldn’t want to have that. and i always want eye candy,” she teased back, giving him a playful wink. “yeah it’s definitely a weird time. but then again we drink blood so i guess we can’t really talk much about weird, huh?” 

“you’re probably right, i don’t think either of us are cut out to be teaching children anything let alone be around them.” joseph chuckled, shaking his head at the thought of it. “very good point, i guess weird is just a relative thing then. when i was a kid my father told me about vampires and i just always thought he was crazy honestly. jokes on me.” he shrugged, looking around. “you wanna get out and go to some place that has better drinks and less justin biebers and taylor swifts?”

Klaus laughed softly. “Maybe a few bottles would help me get my head together.” He joked. “How are you?”

“i’m doing alright, interested in the fact that this town drew us all together at the same time though.. but that can be worried about later. how are you?” he was genuinely curious.

Her tone, she wasn’t a child and she could feel the anger bubbleing inside of her pouring out of her pores in magical flares, the lamp on the bar table started to flicker. “I wasn’t in a bad mood until I met you.” As much as she wanted to show him what she was capable of she didn’t want to hurt anyone around.

“that sounds like a personal problem, i was talking to myself and you decided to insert yourself.” he said, glancing up at the light which undoubtedly came from her. “was that meant to scare me? cute parlor trick.” he said, his eyes darkening and veils coming from under his eyes and he inched closer. “your attitude shows very clearly you’re a brat who is used to getting her way and if you do not control yourself it will end very badly for you.” he warned, his voice harsh.

“Never said it was, I know that more than most.” She bit the inside of her cheek. “I hate parties, and people who seem to have a chip on their shoulder just because they are older.”

he chuckled, looking down at the girl. “does it look like i care? i didn’t ask for your life story, girl.” head tilting to the side. “i just do not tolerate someone having a bad mood and taking it out on me, i’m not your teacher or your parent and if you were wise you would watch your tone.”

“I don’t think anyone should expect perfect, especially out of teenagers. Add in the whole supernatural thing and there are bound to be mistakes and rough times,” Tessa explained, standing up a bit straighter, though she was still much shorter than the man, even in her heels. She smiled brightly as she took his hand and shook it. “It’s nice to meet you Joseph. What brings you to our little school? I’m assuming you are something or at least in the know to be here.”

“couldn’t agree more.” he said honestly, he knows he was far from it and definitely wouldn’t expect it from children. being a teacher he should have assumed that she would be keen on senses that he knew or was within the community. “i am. i’m a vampire, actually. i was drawn to the town and a supernatural school is rare as it gets. these kids must feel like they’re in hogwarts.” 

he was walking down the street, learning the neighborhoods and areas of new orleans - after all it had been a while since he had been here, at least ninety years. but from the corner of his eye he spotted someone, someone who looked the same as they had when the two had last crossed paths. he furrowed his brows and came closer, noting it was in fact kai parker. “and here i thought you died.” he commented. “would have thought you would have cashed in my i owe you by now.” @blovdmagik​ | closed.

so many people he hadn’t seen in a while. and after having heard of the news that both klaus and elijah had passed years ago he was a bit surprised but then again this town was practically rebirthing the dead, the whole reason he was here. “well look who it is.” he said finally, approaching the other. “come to buy more wine?” the younger vampire teased.  @xvillainnic​ | closed.

avalon chuckled. “darn. i think you’d make a hot teacher. make all the teenage girls just swoon,” she teased with a laugh. “well thank you. you aren’t looking bad either,” she told him, ordering herself a drink. “seems like a lot of people are coming around town.” 

a chuckle passed his lips, he couldn’t imagine himself molding young minds. “are you teaching here then? are you sure it’s not you that wants some eye candy.” the elder vampire teased, then he smirked while looking her over. “i’ve noticed that too. though i wonder how many are actually coming here or coming back to life.”

“Well Taylor Swift is a badass so…” she chided resisting the urge to roll her eyes. “Yeah well the world kind of sucks why don’t people try to ya know…not”

“never said she wasn’t, not sure why there’s all the teen angst.” he mused, already over her dramatics. “because no one is obligated to coddle anyone else in this world, the world isn’t a cozy little place.”

“Believe me, I’ve said the same thing,” Elijah spoke up as he came to a stop beside the other male. Being dead - and coming back from it, moreso - was quite a shock to the system, so he couldn’t say that he wasn’t thankful to see a familiar face within the party. “And yet, here I am.” He wondered if Joseph had even been aware that he’d died, or if this was a shock to the system - but then again, he supposed it didn’t really matter. “It’s good to see you again, Joseph. It’s been a while.”

joseph had just been speaking generally, he hadn’t even realized when elijah was the one that was nearest him. the younger vampire turned to face him and smiled slightly when he noticed an old acquaintance, one that had been dead at that. “can’t say i’m surprised, both you and your brother are resilient. how does it feel to be back?” he asked finally, nodding his head then. “good to see you as well, elijah. 

joseph was ready to unwind, after taking the day to compel himself a place and get set up he was ready to enjoy all the fruits that new orleans truly had to offer. on his stroll over he had met a beautiful woman, of course she hadn’t been much other than a snack and he compelled her to go on her way. he walked into a bar that had come highly recommended and once inside he saw damon from a distance. he swallowed a moment, he heard the stories of his brothers still being alive but truly seeing it was another thing. after collecting himself he walked up to the bar and sat with one stool between himself and damon. “bourbon, neat.” he asked of the bartender then glanced over to the other. “this place any good?” joseph asked curiously. @xeternalstud​ | closed.

Sage blinked like a deer in headlights. “No not to insult you…make you aware.” She srugged. Her anxiety levels sparked. “ Elders haven’t been so kind in 5he past so I’m going to go with no.”

“i don’t think i need to be reminded of my own age by taylor swift, but i appreciate it.” he mused, drinking more from his bourbon and he looked back to the girl when she spoke. “adults are dicks, it’s the way of the world.”

Sage was enjoying the party and was sipping on her gingerale by the bar. She was doing what she did best, people watching when a man came near her and grabbed a drink mumbling about teens. Sage couldent help but stifle a laugh “You sound like an old man” she half mumbled under her breath thinking she had used her inside voice not realizing she had spoken the words.

the blondes words made him lift a brow, he chuckled and looked down at her. “was that supposed to hurt my feelings?” he asked curiously, drinking from his glass of bourbon that was in his hand. “if you believe me to be so old, aren’t you supposed to respect your elders?”

avalon was enjoying the event, even if she wasn’t invited or anything. or knew many people there. that definitely didn’t stop her from being curious about the school. it wasn’t like she’d never heard the name salvatore before. she knew the brothers were vampires. which only spiked her curiosity. a playful smirk tugged at her lips when she spotted the very tall and very familiar vampire. she grabbed her drink, making her way over to him. “well well well. didn’t expect to see you here,” she said teasingly. 

it had been a while since he ran into avalon, the elder vampire smirked at her when she approached and he downed the rest of his drink before placing the empty glass on a near surface. “in this school? yeah me neither, i was out strolling the quarter and someone invited me.” joseph smirked, looking down at the red head. “you look good, avalon.” he spoke honestly and smirked, lifting his hand to signal a new drink to a bartender.

    Hayley went to the compound , only to find it full of kids and people partying and some parts expanded . She didn’t know what to make of it or what to think . Did someone else buy the mikaelson home ? “—Can someone tell me what the hell is going on and why is there a bunch of teenagers here ?” 

“from what i gather, it is a school for supernaturally gifted teens. the salvatore school, or something like that.” he shrugged, glancing over then to the brunette beside him and he could see the confusion on her face. “you look like you could use a drink.”
