So Trey and I are going to walk around the Grand Canyon is going to be fun, we done this before and we have a large group of people with professionals around, so who is down in joining us? Is a five to six hour walk and is a great way to clear your mind and to get ready for all the weight we are gaining for Christmas.

Mom was very loudly complaining about how much work cooking the meals during Christmas week is and how little *hint* help she gets from her two capable adult children. I suggested we order takeout every night. The look she gave me could’ve killed a lesser man and now, I’m stuck peeling potatoes and carrots for all the meals and it’s going to take me god knows how many hours. Sigh. I’m Charles and I hope every else’s holiday is going better than mine.

Hours? Just how many potatoes and carrots are you peeling? We are a family of ten and I barely take half an hour with preparations. I have to side with your mother here, perhaps because I’m a mother myself. My apologies. There is nothing like a home-cooked meal. It’s wonderful to meet you, Charles, I’m Cate. And I would lend a hand if I knew your mother wasn’t teaching you a lesson on Christmas traditions.
