Anger bubbled, turning cool blue into
something a little more lethal. it was
half satisfying knowing that men were
stupid enough to engage her. So arrogant.
An arm hung around her waist like she
was his for the taking.

All she needed was an excuse and he'd
given her just that. All that she'd be sorry
for was the mess she would be making
