It should be illegal to require that any device or software connect to the internet just to run. I shouldn't need to log in with microsoft to open any of their programs on my local computer. All games should be playable without access to an online server. All media you pay for should be downloadable to local disk as a raw file and if they don't like that because they know you'll share it and upload it, tough shit. They took your money already, they'll live.

God the absolute whiplash of going from Three's calm and almost elegant demeanor to Four, who upon regenerating, starts reciting riddles and running around causing chaos, is wild. Three has a certain level of poise that gets thrown out immediately with Four and that's so funny to me.

I really want to tell the Doctor Who showrunners that an episode doesn't need to have "stakes higher than ever before" to be good. In fact I'd argue that the best episodes affect only like 5 people. No destruction of a whole planet/galaxy/universe necessary

a few days ago an irl told me about how the alphabet is on the wrong order on the doctor who wiki because in one episode a character recites the alphabet backwards but gets two letters the wrong way around and there has been no other representation of the full alphabet in any other dw media so technically there’s no proof that it isn’t canon and i’ve been thinking about that ever since

When two characters grow a fast connection with each other and become instantly comfortable with eachothers presents that they can't be seen without one another but are then ripped apart due to forces they cannot control and can only say a short, bitter goodbye to eachother before never seeing eachother again
