I thought becoming a father would change my life and I knew it would but not the way I expected, granted its very difficult but not as far as struggling ,just learning how to care for another life.
Before my daughter I had a lot of big dreams and goals just like everyone else in the world , and just like most I was really doing much to get there either I did attend trade school but I didn’t finish of course I found a girl who is now the mother of my child and I got fired just to sum it all up for you. So I thought of creating a brand just like the a previous brand I had started back in high school with a guy in my class named Beyond Clothing Co. We gave up on that after we graduated , and I decided to start my own and name it after my daughter Aryn Tourè . I want a combo of the last brand and her name so Tourè Àu Dela (beyond) was born. My friends and I always were into fashion most of us never had the money to get the things we wanted most but we made it work. I started teaching my self to sew in 2013 and that same year I became a sponsor for a fashion show along side the owner of Fou Dre Vodka at Look Lounge on K st Washington , Dc I saw and learned everything I need in 2 weeks. It was an a experience I won’t forget but I knew I wanted more after see it was possible we are now 2 half years in business my daughter saved me from being nothing . I owe it to her and the folks around me keeping me motivated to work .
