#FundraisingMasquerade
is set between the 19th and the 24th of April :D
Starlette is ready to set things in motion to raise the money to start on the construction of her orphanage! This is a fundraising campaign,
OCs and Canon characters are ALL welcome in the drawing event! >w<
DAY 1: You’re Invited!
Your character has just been invited to the dance! What’s their reaction/their first thoughts?
DAY 2: Who Should I Ask?
Now that you’ve been invited, will you be bringing someone with you?
It’s totally okay for one to come alone :D EVERYONE is welcome!
DAY 3: What to Wear?
This is a masquerade, come in your best of the best attire! Draw your character in their outfit (I wanna see <3 <3 <3 )
DAY 4: Tonight’s The Night!
The night has come! You’re all arriving at the party room, what’s your characters reaction? What’s the first thing they do? Eat all the food? Get blackout drunk? Mingle?
DAY 5: Time To Dance!
Draw your character dancing with their partner, asking someone to dance, or enjoying themselves at the dance! What will they do?
Do they donate to the cause? If so, how much (I want to ensure I have the correct number when the event is over and Starlette announces the total!)
DAY 6: Fundraising Results
Last, but not least, announcing the overall amount that was raised.
Will there be enough? We’ll see!

“Oh, that sounds so lovely, dear.. I’m so glad. If he caught your interest, then I’m SURE he is a wonderful man. I hope to meet him someday! How long have you two been together, dear?”
“I’ll be sure to bring him next time, but he has work.” She shrugged and smiled sheepishly, “Several months, almost a year. We’ve gone on spontaneous dates and spend as much time as we can together. But um...that’s not why I’m here. I’m not here to gush about my love, I’ve got something important to tell you.”
Taking a deep breath, she shifted nervously and placed her hands on her own stomach, “Mom, I..I’m pregnant. I wasn’t sure for a while, I didn’t even think I could get pregnant, but the signs are there.”

Give the okay, and having Bendice take care of the twins, Alice sets to work on getting the twins glasses of lemonade with a hum. Sliding them the glasses with a smile and crinkle of her nose in delight as the sight of the two cuties.
Turning her attention back to Bendice, giving a tilt of her head as she seems to be gathering her thoughts.
A blink in surprise.
Alice immediately sets her head in her hands, giving a bright smile. “No! I don’t believe you have! Tell me about them! Details, details, dear~!”
The twins immediately started sipping on their respective cups, cooing at each other and giggling. They seemed to be entertaining themselves quite nicely.
With a faint blush on her pale cheeks, she patted the children’s heads as she sighed softly, “I actually met him through his brother, Amos, who owns a boutique in Toon Town. I ordered gender neutral clothes since the twins are fussy about looking alike, and I met Aaron there. He was helping his brother, and when he dropped the box with my order, I picked it up,”
She shrugged and smile sheepishly,
“We took one look at each other, and we had fallen in love immediately. There was no doubt in our minds we wanted to be with each other. The twins had a hard time accepting him, but they learned eventually..”

The twins were clinging like little koalas to Alice, smiles and all!
“Heh, they’ve certainly grown quickly. They’re still learning to talk,” Bendice beamed happily, proud of her little siblings for their progress.
“Thanks mom, I’m okay. The twins can have some lemonade, I’m sure they’d love it.” She followed her mom into the kitchen and helped get the twins settled at the breakfast bar, wondering how to break the news to her mother. Perhaps she should start from the beginning.
“Hey mom..did I ever tell you about my love, Aaron?”

Alice happily accepted the hugs, giggling and beaming bright all the while. “Oh, how I missed all of you, too. Oh, you’ve grown so big!”
Giving a laugh again as the twins seem to stick onto her like glue, she happily scoops them up with ease in her arms. “Come on in! Do you want me to put on any coffee for you, sweet pea? Tea? Water? What about the twins, hm? I got some lemonade in the fridge as well, I think..” Alice lists off as she leads them inside and into her kitchen to get settled at her breakfast bar.

With a wide smile, she gave Alice a quick hug and scooped the little ones up so they could do the same, “Hey mom, long time no see. There’s a lot I wanted to catch up with you on and the twins missed you.” She chuckled at the twins’ clinginess to Alice, “May we come in?”
Bendice took a deep breath, holding the hands of her toddler siblings, before letting go of Jayden's hand to knock before holding it again. She figured her other mother should know the big news.
A hum in response at the knock on her door. She wasn’t expecting company today. What a lovely surprise!
Rushing over toward the door, her smile only widened at the sight of Bendice and the twins. “Oh, my sweethearts! What a surprise! Goodness– No heads up and I haven’t even made any snacks– Oh- Come in, come in~! What brings you by..?”
