I know very little about Beilia, as well! What made her first join the Illidari? What did she lose? What was the first demon that she devoured?
Thanks for asking! Beilia was actually in Lorderan when everything went down with the scourge and ended up with the human army until Kael’thas joined with them after the fall of Quel’thalas, so she ended up with his particular faction of blood elves and crossed into the Outlands. She became an Illidari out of sheer odds of survival. She didn’t really lose anything in the rituals other than her eyesight became dull aside from magical essences, so her view of color is severely limited if not enchanced with some sort of magical essence. She can see, and read, still. Her demon soul was a Shivaara, one of the priestesses of Sargeras, which is a little dangerous, and a more patient, faithful soul who plays the long game.

Pride
Beilia’s decision to go through the rites of the Illidari and consume her demon soul was one she went into lightly, and it’s chiefly because she never believed it would be difficult for her to dominate it in the first place. It was a harsh lesson to learn, and one she regrets, especially trying to re-acclimate her changed self in society.
