I will admit this has occurred to me. However, I would ask where you have received information that all of our number desire to gain power from the theoretical second coming? Members of our number do. But for one, I do not. I am here to follow the purpose of this organization, that I have referred to several times and am willing to bring to the top of our timeline again if needed.

We (speaking as a collective term, this may not go for all members in full) gather information on the previous apocalypse in preparation for a potential second. Some of our number have concluded safety lies in becoming an avatar. Some have not. Some have yet to reach a conclusion.

The Eye is involved, to my knowledge, because rejecting information from avatars because they have caused harm previously leads to gaps in understanding. By openly declaring some variety of service to an entity, we have a higher chance in gathering information from all sources. Showing we are not hostile towards them. Complete research is important, and we value information freely given.

As for the subject of the posters, I’d argue comparatively they have done little. They often inform people who desire to where they may find us. Besides, the world cannot be free of reminders of the apocalypse. Fear manifests in many ways. A victim of the Dark may always be afraid of the night, is the sky intentionally causing them harm? If a domain involved open fields must all farmers cease from selling their crops? I understand that these posters serve as an unpleasant symbol to some, but we are not the only origin of reminders. They will always exist, even if this fact is unfortunate. There is no falsehood in stating that we cause no harm, your definition may differ from ours. We have not caused physical harm to anyone to my knowledge, and do not target our messages personally.
