🌳🌲 “Boundary Tree,”🌳🌲 by Blackberry Farm Brewery. This Hoppy Belgian Style Ale comes in at a 6.5% ABV. This fancy looking shit is medium bodied with a delightful hoppy pine aroma. So now let’s get down into this beer that looks like it would be in the Home decor section at Nordstrom’s. Starting off, it’s got a light citrus undertone with a heavy malty bread like taste. It then finishes with a delicate hoppy bitter bite. I’m not going to lie, I could definitely pound a bunch of these. After I pound about 6 or 9 of these guys, I’m going straight to Homegoods and buying a bunch of house plants and trees until my living room is looking like a god damn jungle and I’m the drunk jungle cat laying around yawning and licking himself. I’m going a 6.8 out of 10. #nottrash (at Blackberry Farm Brewery) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9ajthPJhR4/?igshid=mloo3xethhqg

🍊🌲“Haze Jude,” 🌲🍊by Platform Beer Co. This hazy New England IPA comes in at a 6% ABV and 46 IBU’s. This dude right here is medium bodied with a pleasant hazy apple cider like color and smells piney and almost tropical. Going down the hatch, it starts off tropical, slight pineapple in there and maybe some oranges. You get this light hoppy pine taste, definitely not overbearing though. I do like that sometimes and it works here. Haze Jude is brewed with Simcoe and Michigan chinook hops. It finishes off with a small juicy grapefruit punch for a sweet but bitter finish. Now, Platform is pretty hit or miss for me, there are some I really like and some I don’t care for to much, but this one is pretty good all in all. Also I learned that grapefruit juice is pretty tasty because of this review, but other then that grapefruit is a weird old people fruit and really only taste good in beer. When I did go to buy the grapefruit for the picture they were basically sold out. So I guess there’s a lot of weird old people in my town that like grapefruit and probably buy shit off the shopping network. I’m going 7.6 out of 10. #nottrash (at Platform Beer Co.) https://www.instagram.com/p/B8cxiz2JyCI/?igshid=16rapf7v0u0jm

🎅🏼🎄“Holly Jolly,”🎄🎅🏼 by Fat Head’s Brewery. This Christmas Ale comes in at a jolly 7.4% ABV. It has a medium body and a sexy dark amber color with the aroma of honey and little bits of cinnamon. Coming down the chimney this one starts a little bitter sweet, you get mostly honey with some cinnamon spice and a tiny tiny bit of ginger. It then finishes with a warm bitter caramel malty finish. This guy right here is on the naughty list for sure I have had a bunch of Christmas ales this season and I must say I have been slacking on posting them but I had to get this one out on Christmas so here we are. All in all I like this guy, fat heads typically doesn’t disappoint. Yeah I’ve had a couple better but I have had a lot worse too. Also, I will say today is Christmas and it was like 50° out this year with no snow on the ground at all, so it didn’t really feel like Christmas outside but this did help finish up a long exhausting day of chasing my daughter around and cleaning up wrapping paper so this guys getting a 7.7 out of 10. #notttash I also want to say Happy Holidays from the Beerbudzz fam to you and yours and of course we can’t forget happy birthday to sweet little baby Jesus please let baby yoda be safe! 🍍🍓🍇“Joose Cannon,🍇🍓🍍 by Heavy Seas Beer. This exclusive Froot Joose IPA comes in at a perfect 7.25% ABV. It is light bodied with a hazy golden amber color and a tropical fruity aroma. Let me just start by saying this thing is as juicy as hell. It almost leaves your mouth watering like when you see chef Gordon Ramsey cook steak and he just keeps basting butter on it almost in a sexy sensual way.... It starts off with a nice juicy fruit taste almost like a tropical fruit punch. You get a lot of pineapple taste mixed in with some grapes and some oranges maybe even a little pear in there. Then going down the list you get a nice balanced hoppy flavor. It’s brewed with citra, simcoe, and galaxy hops for a even more citrusy tropical taste and a even juicer finish. All I have to say is fucking mint👌 This shit right here is just down right delicious. I’d love to have a 30 rack of this bad boy right here and just send it!!! Im most definitely trying to take this to my next luau while I’m free ballin it under my grass skirt. Ain’t no shame in my game. I’m going a 8.5 out of 10 #nottrash (at Heavy Seas Brewery) https://www.instagram.com/p/B5rCj-BFfli/?igshid=1j1ynpzjfifsi

🎃👻Happy Halloween👻🎃 everyone and for this special day for the first time in BeerBudzz history, we are hitting a duo beer review on none other than a Heavy Seas Trick and Treat limited release. 🍊“Trick,”🍊 by Heavy Seas Beer. This dry hopped sour ale brewed with oranges comes in at a 6.0% ABV. It’s light bodied with a piney orange aroma and a hazy apple cider like color. Starting off, this Trick is sour on your taste buds, you definitely get those hops. There’s plenty of hops to go around it’s very citrusy with a nice deep orange flavor. It finishes bitter and a little juicy, leaving my mouthwatering for another sip. All in all it’s a good sour, I could see my self pounding a couple of these bad boys while dressing up as the scariest thing I can find at the store and scare the living shit out of all the kids. I’m talking, I want these kids to have nightmares. Kids of all ages and sizes, I’m out here scaring 10 year olds to newborns, shit even parents. No one is safe. Is that wrong? Oh well, y’all probably deserve it. Don’t @me, I’m going 6.9 out 10. #nottrash 🍒“Treat,”🍒 by Heavy Seas Beer. This sour ale brewed with cherries comes in at a lower 4.5% ABV. It is light bodied with a tart cherry aroma and a dark maroon reddish color. Getting into this Treat, it’s sour and tangy with a strong cheery flavor. Also, I don’t think this was intentional but I get a vinegar taste almost like a kombucha and I am not a fan of that shit at all. It was shipped in the mail, so I don’t know if maybe somehow that tainted it but it then finishes like it wants to be sweet. I wish it was but I still get that vinegar taste and I honestly can’t get past it. This is sad, because I love Heavy Seas so much, I have a lot of respect for them I love that heavy seas takes the time to send me exclusive beer releases you can only get in Baltimore I have to say there ideas are on point and the artwork by one drop!!! I mean the can artwork is fucking sweet. I like trick but unfortunately I can’t do treat and I hope heavy seas won’t hold it against me and I’m thinking it might just be a tainted and I hope that’s the case but I have to go 3.9 out of 10 #trash (at Heavy Seas Brewery) https://www.instagram.com/p/B4TWQLUlIWh/?igshid=8njniygoq2d7

🎃“Warlock,” 🎃by Southern Tier Brewing Company. This imperial pumpkin stout comes in at a high 8.6% ABV and 40 IBU’s. It’s full bodied with a very deep dark brown color and a pumpkin malty aroma. Getting straight into this spooky shit right here, it’s chocolatey with a little bit of coffee and malt. It then, has a real balanced crossover into a very tasty pumpkin flavor with hints of some nice spices. It sit’s a little bit more on the sweeter side with a very velvety smooth finish. This is a pretty good pumpkin brew. I mean I got to say it kinda slaps more than hitting some slap bass on Can’t Stop by Red Hot Chili Peppers, and believe me that shit slaps look it up if you don’t believe me. Not to mention its strong and a real easy drinker. That is a dangerous combo my friend. I can definitely see myself drinking a whole bunch of this while I’m carving a pumpkin for a pumpkin carving contest at work. Only to find out someone carved the same design as me just bigger and better and that pumpkin comes in first place and I don’t even rank top three but I mean that definitely didn’t happen to me just a scenario. I’m going 7.8 out of 10 #nottrash (at Southern Tier Brewing Co. - Cleveland) https://www.instagram.com/p/B4EDDydFcy2/?igshid=qw1d2bua3k1f

“Sawmill IPA,” by Gervasi Vineyard. This New England style IPA comes in at a 5.8% ABV and 60 IBU’s. It’s light bodied with a welcoming citrus-piney aroma and a pleasant hazy golden color. First off, let me start by saying a special thanks to @tassey1990 and Alex for inviting me to there beautiful wedding. I’m so glad I could be part of it and I had such a awesome time, congratulations to the both of you! Now getting into the beer, I was extremely drunk when I drank this and also when I took the picture but I thought fuck it about to bust out this review. It’s kinda juicy, you definitely get hints of tropical fruits. It has a that subtle pine hoppy taste brewed with azaaca, mosaic and citra hops. It then finishes with a light citrus bite. Fun little fact all of geravsi’s beer is brewed at the thirsty dog brewery in Akron. I’m a fan of thirsty dog so I thought that was pretty cool. All in all the beer was definitely better then decent. But I’m not so sure Gervasi was ready for the way we like to get down and party, we tend to get a little wild and we did. I’m going 6.9 out 10. #nottrash (at Gervasi Vineyard) https://www.instagram.com/p/B3IrtzDFPbp/?igshid=1eacqdnsnxno0

“13th Warrior,” by Railroad Brewing Company. This Hefeweizen comes in at a 4.7% ABV. This beer is light bodied with a golden, almost orange, color with a wheaty clove smell to it. Getting into it, it has a malty wheat taste with hints of spices like clove. It’s finishes bitter with a very small hint of banana, I mean so small it’s more like the person next to you is eating a banana while your drink it. Now I’m not a real big fan of a Hefeweizen, so I didn’t really have high hopes going into this but hey, we have to try them all. Is it terrible? No. Do I like it? That is also a no. What I do like, is that it’s a local brewery here in Ohio and I got to get out there and try some more by them, but this one sad to say is getting a 5.8 out of 10. #trash (at Railroad Brewing Company) https://www.instagram.com/p/B2k0zQclsGe/?igshid=1gb2sprz2xr6

“Scoops,” by Heavy Seas Beer. This milkshake IPA comes in at a 5.5% ABV and 40 IBU’s. Let me just say before we get this bad boy started, this is an exclusive limited release that you could only get at heavy seas beer taproom in Baltimore Maryland. Luckily Beerbudzz has the hook up and heavy seas mailed it out to me here in Ohio just for me to review it and I must say I’m grateful for that. Anyways lets get it started. This beer has a heavy body with a great chocolate aroma and an interesting deep dark brown color you would think it’l could be a stout at first sight. Walking the plank into this one it’s a little on the sweet side, you definitely get that big chocolate and vanilla flavor but it’s not separate. It’s almost like a combined flavor just like a twist ice cream cone if that makes sense. It’s definitely brewed with cocoa nibs and vanilla with a subtle earthy hop flavor from the English hops and of course lots of lactose to give it that silky rich and creamy feel. This guy finishes balanced and smooth and delicious. I would love to drink this while I’m out on a date with your ex girlfriend, you know the one you just can’t get over. Don’t even worry about it buddy dinner went great and now we are just splitting a piece of cheesecake, she is feeding me bites and it’s delicious. I’m going a 8.1 out of 10 #nottrash and again a special thanks to @heavyseasbeer for shipping it out. (at Heavy Seas Beer) https://www.instagram.com/p/B1usYoMFPSJ/?igshid=7b1mz511e7q3

Ok so, I finally got my @hopsy_beer sub home tap and I’d have to say it’s pretty freaking cool. I was a little skeptical at first, I got an ad on Instagram saying something about a free home tap seemed to good be true. So I did a little research thinking it was a scam, but it checked out you just have to pay for the two mini kegs which hold 6 beers each or one growler. Anyways I paid $40 for this thing but be careful I lucked out and used a prepaid card and a week later they tried charging me $100 for their membership. Looks like I out smarted them because guess what no more money on the card so it didn’t go through nice try hopsy ya sneaky snakes maybe next time. All together I will say I feel pretty cool having a little tap in my kitchen it seems they have a good selection of beers and more to come. I do wish it held more beer the way I go through beer but I get it it’s small fits on your kitchen counter. The price of the mini kegs is a little high if your not a member but not to bad I guess all together the beer came out cold and tasted great so I’m giving the hopsy a 7.2 out of 10. #nottrash (at Altercare Mentor) https://www.instagram.com/p/B1cdGeDFSnc/?igshid=29vqhjvubcx8
