Hello friends. It seems as if my life is far too busy now to be on Tumblr. This environment is so fast paced that I feel forgotten if I don’t post often. (Not anyone’s fault, honestly!) I’m moving over to Dreamwidth, where it’s not as fast paced and I don’t feel guilty for not posting a lot.

Usually Barry was just naturally sweet, but this moment had called for an Extra Sweet & Thoughtful Barry. “I try, I really do.” Sookie deserve so much happiness, and he always hoped he wouldn’t screw it up somehow. Without her, he’d probably live in a run down house on the outskirts of Bon Temps with about 100 plants in various stages of life - which is why he never could own an animal. “I know you’ve been having a rough week, so I hope that helped some.”

        Sookie had not expected a response like that from him and instead of any protest falling from agape lips, she just stared at him for the longest moment. Here she was going philosophical or something and he’d said something like that to touch her heart. She lifted her hand to cup his cheek gently, looking into his eyes. ❝That was the sweetest thing you could have said to me, Barry.❞

As he slipped his sweater over her shoulders she could feel herself getting warm. “ Yeah it does. But i like it here.” She nodded before being pulled into a hug. Her arms wrapped around his waist, her head resting on his shoulder. “ Well don’t be a stranger then. You gotta let me know you’re okay once in a while.”
