Adopting is exciting! 👨👧👦
Part of Gen 2 of Whimsy Legacy Exp. is adopting three child sims.

So, meet August, Flora and Ameyo!
Within days of returning from University and starting construction on her home, Aurora had her heart set on filling her life with love. She had always wanted to be a mother, so why not start now?
First came August:
A rambunctious boy who was described by the system as being passionate about all things nature. Aurora remembered being his age and being knee-deep in her mother's garden soil, searching for frogs.
He had proven himself quite the wildlife genius on his first day at school, correcting the teacher on her knowledge of fish! Thankfully, the teacher thought it was quite impressive.
Then came Flora:
Flora could convince a rock to turn to water.
Flora is a charming young lady who could talk to you about anything. Her confidence makes her a popular friend at school, but she'd rather be in her room practicing the piano than worrying about any of that.
When she met Aurora, she spent hours telling her about Del Sol Valley and how she'll live in a mansion and sing songs for MILLIONS! Aurora found herself already investing in Flora's future and just had to adopt her.
And then Ameyo!
Sweet Ameyo brings much needed peace to the Weathers house.
A compassionate, quiet soul, Ameyo is focused on making the world a better place. She has formed a strong attachment to the family cat, Nellie and spent her pocket money on vet treatment when she got sick. You can find Ameyo in the garden with August most afternoons, caring for sick birds that August discovers on his adventures.
Ameyo wasn't all that interested in Aurora at first, but once she found out that she could have a pet cat and a chemistry set, she couldn't wait to be a part of the family, and has continued to flourish ever since.

Aurora does University! 🏫
Aurora seems to have had such a blast at Britechester!

She had to apply twice (adeepindigo's uni application overhaul) as she got rejected the first time around, despite graduating with honors from Copperdale.
She thoroughly enjoyed her newfound independence, and spent most of her time with the Debate Team, which really boosted her grades as a Law Major. She graduated with a perfect GPA regardless of her antics, and you're now looking at Aurora Weathers, Legal Eagle at Bagley and Buckley LLP!
She used a portion of her signing bonus to purchase a plot of land in San Sequoia, her mother's hometown, a step closer to achieving her dream of becoming a mother!

Obviously, you've missed a couple chapters, but here they are! The Weathers are now saying goodbye to their little bird, who is flying the nest to UBrite to study law.
Watching Dee-Dee and Ellis raise such an amazing character is truly some of the most fun I've had playing The Sims. I'm quite emotional. I think with this next generation I'm going to focus on properly documenting some of the story, rather than announcing just the big events.

She's growing so fast!
Dee-Dee and Ellis couldn't be prouder of their little sunshine. She loves animals and raised her own hamster, Milo, who sent her many postcards in his life.
Currently, she's a grade A student with an interest in social skills and an attitude to boot. She spends a great deal of time with her Dad down at the beach learning about fishing. Dee-Dee built her a treehouse, too. She is well and truly loved.

Honestly I'm beyond excited to see what happens in Aurora's life. If Whimsy Legacy Ext. has anything to do with it, she's going to have a very rewarding future!

Time has flown by!

Aurora has brought so much purpose to Ellis and Dee-Dee's lives. She is such a character, and went through a period of time where she only slept in Ellis' arms. She's turned into such a daddy's girl.
Dee-Dee has been working around the clock to give little Aurora the best childhood physically possible.

Honestly it's so heart warming to see Dee-Dee and Ellis give the world to Aurora after working so hard to build a home for their family!

Life for the Silverthorne-Weathers household has always been unpredictable, truthfully they liked it that way.
Life proved just how unpredictable with the news that Dee-Dee had fallen pregnant with their first child. Dee-Dee never saw herself as a mother, but she was so excited. Ellis, on the other hand, was ecstatic.
They couldn't live in tents with a baby, so they immediately set out to build a sustainable micro-home for themselves. Complete with a garden and nectar maker!

What an emotional ROLLERCOASTER...

Dee-Dee's appendix burst (adeepindigo health redux) as she was fishing with Ellis and needed an emergency surgery.
Unfortunately, the surgery went wrong and she succumbed to her illness. Ellis wasn't letting his Love go before she knew his feelings and BEGGED the Grim Reaper for mercy. Through the grace of the divine, he listened and gave Dee-Dee a second chance.
Once Dee-Dee was back on her feet, Ellis wasted no time at all confessing his feelings and they started their relationship on the spot!

This is Ellis Weathers,
Ellis has always had a hard life, born in the deserts of Chestnut Ridge, he is used to finding his own way. Ellis' dream is to provide for a family by selling homemade Nectar.
He moved onto Dee-Dee's lot after seeing her tending to her garden.

Meet Dee-Dee! ✨
This is Dee-Dee Silverthorne.
Born in San Sequoia, she moved to Windenburg to soul-search; her dream is to become fully self-sufficient, making her own furniture and growing her own food.
She is GENERATION 1 of my new Whimsy Legacy Expanded.
My goal with this playthrough is to maintain a well documented family tree, which I'm terrible at... hence the blog!
