On the anniversary of the tragic bombing, we find ourselves in Boston. In remembrance, we’re having a small meet & greet at Great Scott at 5.30pm. We’ll hang out and chat and then play some acoustic songs. We are asking for a $10 suggested donation which will all go to the victims relief fund.  Hope you can come down, meet up and sing with us, regardless of whether you’re coming to The Sinclair (sold out- thank you!!) later. It is 18+ www.greatscottboston.com - 1222 Commonwealth Ave, Allston.

I volunteer at a school in the inner city of Rochester in a classroom with children of special needs/learning disabilities.  One boy stood out to me, Armani.  He is blind and would randomly find me in the room and hug me.  He is the sweetest kid I have ever met and my life has changed after working with him at his school. I feel the love <3

I work for Unified Community Connections in Cumberland, Maryland.  I am the transportation supervisor, and my life has been changed by this job.  This is a photo of one of our clients touching a horse (we think for the first time).  Your music is an inspiration to all of us !

I love this band ever since I saw them on the 4th of October with Grouplove. I saw them again this past week at Lambert's BBQ and hung with them. Today started out kinda bad. I was feeling kinda down in the dumps. College tends to be stressful, just thinking about some assignments stresses me out. I was feeling just kinda bad. I missed a class. I couldn't register for classes, and I thought everything was just kinda bad. I decided to listen to Waiting For The Dawn. I was reminded of the power of love. A few people made me feel a lot better shortly after that, and then I started smiling at random people and telling them Hi! and my day instantly got better. A friend of mine looked kinda sad, and was sad. So I Facebook messaged her, she seemed like she needed a pick me up, so I took what little cash I had and bought her some Starbucks. Made her day. Every day I try to spread love and preform random acts of kindness, it's usually just holding the door open, but I truly believe that if you do something as simple as that or smiling at someone then it can make their day, or change their life in time. Like planting a seed. So thank you to the Mowgli's for being so inspiring and having a message of love and peace<3
P.S. I love this picture.

ACL's final day was cancelled due to rain, and The Mowgli's were scheduled to play, but instead had an impromptu show across a homeless shelter in downtown Austin. The outcome was inspiring and motivational to all. Thank you for your continual support, and donating to the homeless shelter.

I handed out 260 bubbles at ACL this weekend. Let's just say I think it was effective. Just spreading the fun and love! One person even told me I should charge for them. I did it on a fluke last year (cause my mom bought and gave me 300 bubbles from a garage sale randomly) and now I hand out bubbles at every outdoor show I attend...I'm known as bubble lady...people recognize and call me that. I would never ask for money even if I used mine to buy the bubbles, the smiles it brings is payment enough. Plus I blew them at The Mowgli's show at ACL and I'm pretty sure it made them smile as well! (Photo Cred: KUTX, Austin 360 and Austin Post)

I believe there is a reason for everything--big or small--that happens in life.  I remember the first time I heard The Mowgli's: San Francisco was faintly playing on the radio as I was driving home from the airport last May.  For some reason, the lyrics stayed in my mind until the next day when I found myself repeating them over and over again in my mind.  So I decided to google them and see what song it was, and from that moment on I fell in love with this band.
This past year has been very difficult for me. Long story short, my family was torn apart by my parents' divorce.  To hide from the drama and pain I stay in my room for the most part.  Life became a whole lot easier ever since I started listening to Waiting for the Dawn.  I don't think a day goes by that I don't listen to this album.  My friend asked me one day if I would like to go to a music festival with her in Sterling Heights, MI. I said yes, not really knowing who would be there.  When I got there, I learned The Mowgli's would be there.  Needless to say, I FREAKED out. (You probably remember me as the girl following all of you around all night.. I'm not creepy, I promise! I'm just a huge fan)
So, the point of this post is to say that your music has given me patience, understanding and, above all, happiness. I showed your music to all of my friends, knowing that any hard time they encounter can be made a little easier by the push of the 'play' button.  Thank you for everying :)
