We have been best friends for 2 years and even with all the crazy shit, all we do is grow together. We went through the “talking” phase but we didn’t know each other very well so it kind of faded away. Our friendship continued to grow and we made all these crazy memories together. We made each other laugh, drove each other crazy, cried together and just flat out sat in silence together. We’ve spent birthdays and holidays together. We went to concerts together and met your favorite band together. We have watched each other grow inside every day. I saw you go in and out of hospitals and while I was scared, I waited patiently for you to come home. I saw you graduate high school and I was so grateful to be there. We were there for each others first tattoos. I have sat in your room with you and watched movies, YouTube videos and even just watched you play video games. We have seen each other stoned off our asses. I have fallen asleep in your arms or with you in my arms. We came back to the “talking” phase but this time things are so different. Things have heated up between us and I think its because we became best friends and we grew together. I honestly never liked the “friends with benefits” idea because you typically don’t know the other person very well. But with you, I really love it and it’s because you are my best friend and I trust you. Now we can do things together that I never thought we could or would. I honestly could never replace you. You are my best friend, my other half and the Joker to my Harley Quinn. I love you with all my heart, Puddin.

I'll Always Remember This Day

There was this one day in my ASL class and I wasn’t doing so well. Why? Well my very mean and abusive ex boyfriend was sending me these awful texts. He was calling me names, telling me to kill myself, and saying he wanted me gone and it broke me inside. Well at one point I was so upset I had a mental breakdown while my teacher was in front of the class teaching us our new ASL vocabulary. I checked my phone and read an extremely hateful text and I lost it. I was on my hands and knees bawling my eyes out, fairly loud I might add. Everyone in the class could hear me and they just looked at me then ignored it. My teacher let me cry and didn’t stop teaching. But then there was Brandon…he was the person who came to my rescue and I’ll never understand why since we barely knew each other but I’m so grateful he did. I guess I should explain. While I was having my breakdown and everyone was ignoring me, Brandon got up and walked over to me and hugged me while I fell apart in class. He didn’t care that our teacher was giving a lesson, he cared that I was hurting and I needed someone. To this day, I will never ever ever forget that day. I am so beyond grateful for Brandon and all the wonderful things he has done for me. But that is the memory I will hold in my heart forever.

I will never let you down. You are my best friend and the Joker to my Harley Quinn. Nothing will change that.
