Itachi Fandom/Fandom in General: Itachi was a 13-year-old child put into a difficult position; you suck, because you’ve got no sympathy for children!
Sensible people: mother fuckers, Danzo and co. had no idea about the coup. No fucking clue. It was Itachi who went to the council of his own accord and ratted out his own people; so he made a choice to put their proverbial head under the guillotine; this decision to sell out his own people was the choice he made, not something forced on him. You can talk about his cartoonish military-dilemmas and little “tears of sorrow” all you want, but the steps he took to reach there were taken by choice. Not coercion. Not force. Not manipulation. By choice!
Furthermore, he withheld the information from Hiruzen that another Uchiha, an unknown Uchiha who claimed to be Madara, was loitering about the compound and slipping through the security barrier at leisure, an Uchiha with whom no clansman had made any contact. They had no idea that Obito was even there! This is something Itachi said to Obito word for word in the manga: “you bypassed the security barrier…”; and Obito told Itachi that he bore a hatred towards the clan; and Itachi proceeded to strike a deal with him. So he knew what sort of person Obito was and that he was working independent of the clan:

Even a child could’ve figured it out that this person (Obito) bypassed the barriers set for Kuahina’s safety in the past and wrecked havoc, which his clan were blamed and persecuted for. Instead of informing Hiruzen of that that, perhaps, this rouge Uchiha (let’s play with this terminology for now) could be responsible for the attack, he personally sought out his help to eradicate the clan, a clan that took the blame for the unknown Uchiha’s transgression? So he shook hands with the very Uchiha who caused the mess and never informed anyone about it, not even Hiruzen? Am I supposed to feel sympathy for this cruel jingoistic fanatic that took all the right steps and made all the right choices to make sure that the Uchiha looked as guilty as possible and allowed himself to singlehandedly assume the role of their judge, jury, and executioner? Are you fucking serious about this?
And besides, did you lot forget that he also said, “Leaf may have its dark side, but I’m still Itachi Uchiha of the Leaf,” thereby embracing every atrocity it’d committed with an open and magnanimous heart; “perhaps you (a 7-year-old Sasuke, a child) could’ve changed father and mother, the Uchiha,” not that his decision to cull the clan (for Leaf’s sovereignty) was a heinous one, but that a change from them was long overdue to turn the course of their own eradication by his hands; and asked Naruto to conceal their genocide for all times via, “protect the Uchiha honor”? Which part of it sounds like an adult thinking over his regretful actions as a child? Your entire discourse is a meth trip that makes no fucking sense!
Drag your head outta his arse. You people are wrong on both accounts as the character himself disagrees with your comical interpretations of him and the defense-force that comes cheap with that Itachi solo-king happy-meal. Lay down the pipe. Touch some grass. Etc. You know the drill.

Since several people in my previous post were like “yeah, he cared about Naruto but he never cared about Sakura tho”
Also can we appreciate Kakashi’s incredible speed here? when when the Hyuga clan were having a hard time dodging these things, Kakashi just grabbed Sakura away from it with such ease.
And even without the sharingan, his speed was still incredible enough to save himself, Sakura and Obito here while falling into Kaguya’s lava dimension, and not just the speed of his body but also his thinking, to be able to come up with a plan to tie a kunai to a scroll and hook it to the edge, catching Sakura while throwing another kunai to pin Obito to the wall and save the 3 of them all in less than a second.
“oh but he never taught Sakura anything tho” really? Then what was that? 👇
Kakashi only spent one year training team 7, this year was divided between missions and training, and we’ve only seen so little of it while most of it was in time skip but it was implied and even literally stated by Kishimoto in the databook that he did train all 3 of them in this year, specifically stating that the 3 of them learned so much from Kakashi during this year.
Just because they were in a time skip off screen, it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen! Boruto and Himawari’s birth happened during a time skip too, does that mean that they appear out of thin air and Hinata never really gave birth to them?. And we’ve never really seen any of the other Sensei’s training their students either, that still doesn’t mean they never trained them, come on now.
He also believed in her the same way he believed in Naruto and predicted that one day she’ll surpass Tsunade.
Not only that, he even supported and defended her and tried to explain her feelings to Sasuke.
My man cares about all of his students despite all of his trauma, depression and being barley able to hold himself together, he was always.. always there for them whenever they needed him.

It actually makes sense that only Minato learned the Flying Thunder God Technique. Both Tobirama and Minato were very talented Sensors, capable of sensing Madara or Naruto respectively from half a continent away. That wide range and pinpoint precision are probably needed to use the Flying Thunder God Technique, because it lets them know the situation around their destinations before teleporting in and allows them to fight more effectively. That’s how Minato managed to teleport in the right position to save his student’s life.
There’s also the fact that both Tobirama and Minato used the technique without hand seals, so it’s possible that only someone exceptionally good at controlling and molding chakra could do it. Minato could do hand seals one handed, and Tobirama only needed a single hand seal (out of over forty) to do the Water Dragon Bullet.
These requirements make it impossible for nearly everyone in Konoha to learn it. Only Sage Mode Naruto and maybe Ino are good enough Sensors in the current generation, but neither showed any exceptional talent when it came to controlling or molding chakra. Like, no offence, but Ino never mastered the Strength of a Hundred Seal, which requires very precise chakra control, and it took Naruto years of experience through his clones to learn how to do the Rasengan single-handed.
