Someone else has probably brought this up already, but this:
Makes me think of this:
And that makes me think of Stolitz greatest showman type au where the accident never happened, and through the years, Stolas would sometimes sneak out to the circus to see Blitzø perform. Then on his wedding day, he just runs away and tries to get a job at the circus and Blitzø ends up being the one to teach him everything and Stolas keeps making mistakes because he can't properly focus around his crush.
Blitzø, after watching Stolas mess up another trick: You know what, if you're not really serious about any of this, just go back to your palace and live your carefree life.
Stolas: I'm sorry Blitzø. I am trying and do take this very seriously, I promise. I just... I'll try harder.
Blitzø: Yeah, I'll believe that when I see it, your highness.
After Blitzø leaves, Stolas sighs and then begins to perform every trick flawlessly while singing a song about how he's been longing for fun and freedom and most of all, Blitzø.
What he doesn't realize is that Blitzø actually heard and saw everything.
Fizz let slip that whenever Blitzø isn't around, Stolas is actually really good at all the tricks, and Blitzø decided to try spying on him to see if it was true.
Blitzø is a mess of emotions. He's surprised and confused and kinda in awe, but most of all, he's relieved because if Stolas had actually been as bad as he thought, he would have had to leave and Blitzø can't stand the idea of Stolas leaving him...
Eventually, Blitzø confronts him, and they have a Rewrite the Stars moment, but it ends with Bliztø walking away because even though he wants this, he still isn't entirely convinced Stolas won't go back to his old life once the novelty and thrill of the circus wears off.
Could we see your humanized take on Carmilla and Zestial? If you'd like! I thoroughly enjoy your Mimzy and Alastor stuff and will be cheering no matter what you draw. :)
I think Zestial turned out to be the least similar to his demon form in my interpretation 😅
I was mostly guided by his manner of speech for his human design (his demonic appearance said nothing to me about his era, unfortunately). He speaks in "Shakespearean sonnets," so I took the Tudor period for his character as a base. Given his stateliness, he appears to fit in with the clothing of the affluent of the era. And I decided to keep his long cape situation for mysteriousness XD
I'll add Carmilla later simply because I haven't finished her human design yet, pardon🙏
I thought about how it'd be fun if the reason Charlie believes in sinners and loves Hell and its denizens is because she was raised by them (specifically by some Overlords), because Lucifer was not allowed to see her / was too busy to spend enough time with her.
Since I made an AU hc that Vox was infertile and wanted kids, I imagine that when the request was voiced by Mornigstar family, his human vulnerability got the best of him and he somehow agreed. Maybe that could be used as a chekhov's gun later on (that shoots Vox in the foot)
