Weekly news report: Feb.12.2023
Welcome back listeners! It's been quite a while unfortunately since we've kicked on the news report.
We've had a mess with the freezing temperatures and power lines being down, but the entire town should be fixed back up by Wednesday. The Coven is offering temporary housing arrangements and Spirits, the town centre, has been set up with food, water, warm clothing, and other necessities you may need to keep you through these rough last months of winter.
Speaking of, Ostara, the spring equinox, is soon to arrive! Expect the town to be decked out in paper chains by our pagans and children. Come down on the day of for music, a farmer's market, and to help with the town-wide cleanup!
Imbolc was celebrated on the first and we hope everyone had a good celebration! Memoriam Maison is open to all who wish to light a candle and remember.
Construction on Rave Route is finishing up with comfortable cool down areas, smoother paths, and other accommodating for our disabled friends! We'll be doing a review of it sometime next month, check back in for that.
As nights get shorter and warmer, we know people will want to be back out in the woods again. We ask again that all stay out of The Hollow. We've lost two members of our community to it since winter began and we're hoping to not lose more. Please remind children it is not a place to play or go to spook each other. If they want horror stories, go over to The Coven or send in a request to us! We'll spook the shit outta ya if you want.
With a return of a strange plant in the south side of Deso, we also ask everyone by there be wary of the things they pick up, wash their hands, and walk around with shoes on at all times. We don't know what it is, but it's caused some nastly rashes on a few citizens! We're contacting our friends in the next town over to help us sort it out and we'll update once it's clearly.
Thomasin does also want to remind our pagan and magick-practicing friends that energies are stronger as the sun returns and to please be careful and take care. Someone has already been to the medic for alleged contact of angels and we generally like to keep our town a safe space. To hear more, tune in at midnight for our nightly psychic sessions. Thomasin will be leading with Luka by her side!

Weekly news report: Oct.9th
We've just finished celebrating Mabon, the Fall Equinox! The feasts were managed by The Coven as always and there were tons of fires set up, many for jumping or burning letters of last year's regrets. We're getting ready to celebrate Samhain, the pagan new year, and Dia De Muertos!
With more storms and heavier snows due to kick in, everyone has been warned to stay away from The Hollow. Desolatown has seen one person go missing already and we're hoping to keep things from going all Texas. Strange activity has been reported in the woods with unusual structures being found and noises being heard.
Construction has begun in Rave Route to expand it, making it more accessible to our disabled folk! The plans show smoother grounds, more seating areas, and a designated cool down area.
A new shop has opened in The Airport all for African culture! It's an amazing place with lots of history to it, we recommend checking it out.
As the spirits come in for our celebrations, we remind everyone to be wary of who they're interacting with. Some spirits may not have crossed over properly and may be dangerous to interact with. Do not attempt to deal with them unless you have experience in it, and then always make sure you aren't alone.
