Dailies-30/07/21 We climbed the cliff in order to be on top of the Larzac plateau around 9pm. We had booked the usual million stars hotel for a night. They had even planned a fancy Sound&Light show around 5am for our entertainment only (ie lightning storm and rain), which was pure amazement and led to more cuddling. The book Sauvage is split into four chapters: Fear, Control, Exploitation and Resistance. To break with the black and white photography of the rest of the book, each chapter is opened by an illustration by the amazing @julie_terrazzoni. New book available to order. Link in bio. « Sauvage » is a political book about the dominant economic system and it’s destructive nature. Be it a plant, an animal or a human, the « wild one » is the one who defies the grand plan of perfect control of the land and it’s inhabitants. However plants are constantly on the move, wolves know no frontiers and refugees exist because they have crossed a few. The concept of what’s wild has been used throughout human history to morally justify the exploitation of other forms of life.
