Character Interview: "Greenheart”
-What did you have for breakfast?
“Strawberries, with tea and milk of rathe almond to ease the tongue.
-What can you cook perfectly?
“Tea sustains my mind if not my stomach, but it is cooking all the same.”
- If you could choose a pet, what would it be?
“City folk may seek to bend animals to their will, my kind do not, though there are a handful of creatures I might call friends. One is a shrubling, a korpokkur. I have not yet decided whether to harvest it.”
-How is your relationship with your parents?
“...I--an odd choice for a question. Your kind might call it personal. My mother and I were close before she perished to the Light as so many have. My father I met but once. He frowned when he saw my leg.”
-What is your favorite read?
“One of the children who gathers herbs gifted to me a book of poetry. I read it often.”
-Do you put both socks on first, or one sock, one shoe?
“My left sock on first, ‘tis always easier so.”
-Do you fold your clothes before bed?
“Should I not fall asleep in them while working...yes.”
-How do you feel about marriage?
She shakes her head. “I understand the importance to humes, to city folk. It was not the way of my sisters.”
-Who was the last person you crushed on?
"Such questions are ill-suited for Viis. I remember my kind fondly, I can say.”
-What does your dream home look like? And where would it be?
She is quiet. “Back in the Wood, to the north, where there was snow and long quiet nights.”
-What’s your worst habit?
She finally smiles at this, just a touch. “Indulging the humes their questions.”
-What do you do for a living and how do you feel about your job?
“In the Wood to the north that I called home, I was to be a Salve-Maker. My sisters nurtured my interest and gathered my supplies, in turn I tended the gardens and made poultice for cut and bruise alike. It is the same here, though my mind turns to the question of growing enough food for the Crystarium with the bitter soil that is left to us.”
