Small Logan headcanons??
Ahh! Thank you for asking!
I have many thinks about small logan :) I have a short piece about him actually, which you'll recognise a lot of these HCs in.
So in my head, he regresses down to maximum 2 years old, mostly because he doesn't do it voluntarily. He waits and waits and waits and it creeps up on him, so he's often not-very-big at all.
I also HC that Janus is his (and Remus')CG, which I think is a very popular one. I think that Janus is able to feel when Logan is slipping, too, mostly because he's sending out lil pangs of denial as soon as he realises he's regressing.
These little pangs are almost like a baby fussing because they want their mama, cuz I fully don't believe Logan is verbal in the slightest, partly due to the age and partly because he would just cry. The sound of a crying baby in the mindscape isn't exactly commonplace.
Naturally, he's a very touch deprived child, because his adult self doesn't get that sort of attention, but that's because the other sides don't know he wants it. They thought he was touch repulsed and so they accommodate that.
He has one of those big kidney cushions in his room. Big Logan says it helps with posture and back pain. Baby Logan has it because it makes him feel like he's being hugged.
Being completely nonverbal, but also Logic, he finds it very scary to feel his words slipping away but once he drops off the bottom of the scale and he's back into that comforting state, there are no worries.
It's a theme I give to all my regressed!sides but he does need to wear protection when he's small. Mostly because he can barely move of his own volition, everything feeling much too heavy and overwhelming, but also because it makes him.feel loved, and reduces the impact of the involuntary regressing
On that subject, he is fully capable of diapering himself, though he will only ever allow himself the most plain, practical protection, since he has to obtain it when he's big. However, he loves it so much more when Janus does it for him, they play games where he's rolled about the mat to make sure every inch is clean, he's encouraged to help with the routine by being asked what comes next, etc. Janus always gives him cute blue space themed padding when he can get away with it
Pacifiers. Big Lo would argue till he was blue in the face that they're bad. But baby lo is just a fussy little boy.
Also, flowers. When he's at the upper end of his range, he likes to wear pretty flowers in his hair. Nobody can get him to explain why, even when big, but he does affirm there is a very sentimental reason.
Eeeeeevrything goes in his mouth if he can help it. He's a curious little one, exploration is in his roots.
No stuffies, he never really bonded with them, despite how hard his CG and sibby tried, but he'll play with Remus' toys if he's big enough for Mama Bear Jan to let him.
No crib either. At least not in his room which is where the most of his regression ends up happening. Jan has a cosleeper and a moses basket in his own room, and Logan is always welcome to use them when he's small, and Remus' room (chaotic as it may be) also has toddler rails on the bed, which have been deemed safe enough for Baby Logic Naptimes, so long as he isn't left too long after waking up.
Speaking of sleep, he does a lot of it. And mostly wrapped up tight in the best approximation of a swaddle Janus can do on an adult size male. Either in his fuzzy ducky blanket, or a modified sleeping bag. But then Remus finds sleep pods on one of his many forays into weird insomnia 'hacks' and suggests them to Jan. It's basically an adult size stretchy swaddle, and immediately it becomes Lo's favorite piece of gear.
He doesn't own any eating utensils. Mostly because he never feeds himself and Janus, being a 'dark side' can summon bottles for him. But also cuz he doesn't wanna risk leaving them out for one of the other sides to see. Not that it matters too much, there are other, actually known, regressors in the house.
Which gives him a weord sort of vibe because he doesn't want to be equated to them because regression is giving in and letting yourself be weak, but he's Logic, he can't be weak. He cant give in. Which loops back round to the involuntary regression.

To be fair, changing your mind about where a story’s going based on reader predictions isn’t always bad. Sure, it’s not great if you’re all “oh, no, they figured it out, now I have to change everything because my readers aren’t allowed to be cleverer than me” – but on the other hand, sometimes a reader will be like “okay, here’s the dumbest possible way I can imagine this playing out”, and then their dumbest possible prediction is exactly what you’re planning, and you realise that yeah, now that you’ve seen it laid out by someone who isn’t the voice in your head, that’s actually super dumb.

I don’t know how to describe it but like. Writing for me is almost as necessary as breathing and if I go long periods without writing, I feel like I’m being suffocated, deprived of some vital need, something central to every human being and I think that need is a need for someone to understand and relate, because there’s pieces of myself in my writing, little things hidden in characters–in the way that I’ve always struggled directly telling people my scars but oh, writing?
Read enough of my works, of any writer’s works really, and you’ll find the words we cannot say out loud but hope to express through the verbs, nouns and adjectives we’re carefully picked out, nervously hoping you’ll enjoy it in the same manner one picks out a gift for a loved one for their birthday or a holiday.
