This is probably going to be the last post I cover, I’m try to keep it short and to the point. I have disability’s and find a lot of ableist people that perceive köing as a little baby man UwU just a little shy man. That pisses me off so much, I have bad anxiety and because of that I can’t do thing normal people can, I couldn’t even go on stage when I graduate from high school because of my anxiety. And there is so much more that I struggle with I understand König personally the best out of other cod characters. Because I understand how he feels, and König is far from shy he’s a cocky guy. Also he wears a mask that probably helps him with his anxiety think of it as a safety blanket, for a while I’d use a hood as a safety blanket because it made me less anxious like I could hide. So König probably feels the same way with his hood/mask.
And I feel I can only really add to this post for König. Ableist is a real thing and I hate it. Growing up in special ed the teachers treated me like I was stupid, I had friendships end because of them being ablest. I think as a community in cod we can all do better, I personally try to do research before I write any characters that has a disability and I think more people should do that.
Anyway I hope this covers most of what Anon told me that this user  mlmxreader was just terrible and shit like that, but I don’t think so. Once again it’s good to get both sides of a story before jumping to conclusions.
the cod fandom has a serious issue w saneism
I'm genuinely not joking. so many of you fuckers are guilty of being absolutely abhorrent towards people with personality, schizospec, psychotic, dissociative and trauma disorders and you need to stop before you genuinely harm someone. no, you're not "cute" for it - you're an ableist, nasty little cunt for it.
so, let's go through it a bit; I'm not gonna go in-depth, bc ik some of you lot won't take criticism w/o treating it as a personal attack, and ik a LOT of you don't actually give a shit abt hurting people either. but I'm gonna quickly cover some things that need addressing.
First and foremost: "delulu".
"delulu" is a term that's been shortened from "delusional" to essentially mean "I have a thought/opinion that few others have".
which isn't the correct way to actually use this term whatsoever; according to the correct definition, a delusion is stated to be "A delusion is a strongly-held or fixed false belief that conflicts with reality.", and an example of that would be (for example) if someone believed that their behaviour, thoughts and emotions were being controlled by the government or aliens. THAT is a delusion.
"Soap isn't dead uwu" is not. by using the word "delusion" colloquially and by using "delulu", you are minimising and misusing a term used solely meant for usage within the mental health field. it's not that hard to say "I have the opinion that-" or "I think that-", because what you're experiencing isn't a delusion. it's an opinion.
Secondly: "psychopath/sociopath".
"psychopath" and "sociopath" are widely misused and derogatory terms used often towards people with ASPD to portray them as violent, evil, etc. and within the cod fandom is often used as a derogatory term for villains like Makarov and Shepherd and Graves.
the terms themselves are wildly outdated and no longer used within the mental health field due to their derogatory and untrue definitions; "psychopath" and "sociopath" can ONLY be used by people with ASPD and other such disorders, otherwise, it does count as a slur.
if you cannot reclaim it, you cannot use it.
otherwise, you're only pushing and furthering stigmatisation and stereotypes that render it HARDER for people to seek help and support for their mental health.
Third: "schizo".
"schizo" is a fucking slur. end of. it is a slur against people with schizospec disorders. it's a slur, stop using it.
it's not cute and it isn't funny; the word is a slur, and if you cannot reclaim it then why are you using it if not to treat schizospec people as a fucking joke?
why is our mental health a joke to you when you would kick off if someone did the same to anxiety, or depression?
why is it okay to treat one disorder as a joke, why is it okay to treat schizospec people as if we're second class citizens?
Fourth: "psycho".
the same as above, "psycho" is a fucking slur. stop using it.
the word has a long, long history of being used in a derogatory, offensive and bigoted manner in order to portray someone as being violent, evil or otherwise terrible - "he's such a psycho!", "she's acting psycho!" - and yet, the cod fandom throws it around as if it means nothing despite the fact that one quick look will show that "psycho" is a slur and is as bad as calling someone a "faggot" as a slur.
Fifth: the treatment of Nikto
in recent weeks, Nikto has become sort of the "new" König - he's an object of desire and attraction, which... Sure, whatever.
but Nikto canonically has dissociative identity disorder, a mental health issue that is largely misunderstood and mistreated massively.
the fandom treats Nikto two ways: either his mental illness boils down to "uwu soft baby" disease, or it doesn't exist at all.
that is NOT how dissociative identity disorder works; by treating Nikto as if he's some completely innocent, infantilised, glamourised depiction of dissociative identity disorder, you are further perpetuating that it is NOT a serious disorder and it is NOT something to take seriously.
furthermore, by acting as if his mental health disorder doesn't exist AT ALL, you are also furthering that a character CANNOT be desirable, loved and attractive if he has any kind of mental health disorder.
how would you like it if someone treated anxiety or depression that way?
how would you feel if someone erased depression to make you an object of desire, instead of treating it with respect and decency?
it's not nice, is it?
so why do it at all?
conclusion
the cod fandom has a massive, massive issue with saneism and ableism, and it needs to stop because all you're doing is being shitty and bigoted towards marginalised people to the point where even something that's supposed to be FUN can't even be that anymore because people with these disorders have to CONSTANTLY be on guard and CONSTANTLY have to deal with stigmatisation and demonisation to the point where no one can be trusted outside of ourselves.
so stop it, have some fucking courtesy for your fellow man and have some respect and decency for once in your lives.

I don’t understand the backlash on this post. Yes I do understand that sometimes being into rape as a survivor is a trauma response, but if you’re into rape just to be into it and not do anything that supports the victims or spread the word of the harm rape causes I’m not for that.
And I must say I absolutely DONT SUPPORT ANYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH CHILDREN! It’s gross disgusting and wrong, I work with kids and don’t want see anything bad happen to them. Nor would I read stuff that puts them in harms way. For example the the Moors murder is absolutely tragic and shouldn’t be put lightly and definitely shouldn’t be something to fantasize about. If you’d to take a deep dive into the case Morbid on Spotify dose a great job on covering it.
Yes I understand Simon Reily didn’t have a good childhood and I don’t think it should be sexualized, I feel like however with Simon Reilly we as a community could write about the effects of his childhood as an adult.
This also leads me to John Price, he has literally threatened to kill a kid and a wife. But he only kills kids I guess idk.
As I’m addressing cod stuff at the moment yes they all do war crimes.

And then Graves, people calling him racist because of his accent. He’s not racist it’s just his accent as a person that has people in my family that has a thick as southern accent, them trying to speak German sounds just as horrifying as Graves speaking Spanish.

let's talk about konigsblog. like, seriously.
if you're in the COD fandom, you probably already know exactly who they are and what level of depravity and disgust that they engage in. so let's talk about it.
for those who don't know: konigsblog routinely writes rape and pseudo-incest fic and tries to brush it off as "dark fic" and as "dead dove", whilst simultaneously trying to negate and undermine the experiences of irl survivors of incest, rape and other abuses by claiming that bc they're writing fiction, it's fine. anyone with a brain worth 2 pence can tell you that their excuses are bullshit and that they're just a fetisher who doesn't actually give a shit about the people who are genuinely hurt by such disgusting material.
now. I write dark fic routinely, I have written about topics such as trauma, heavy gore, serial killing, etc. what makes dark fic dark is the fact that it is about a topic of which you would expect in something akin to a horror film or a horror novel - something like the Dexter Morgan novel series or Thomas Harris' Red Dragon trilogy. dark fic is not, and never will be, the promotion, fetishisation and romanticisation of rape, incest, and pedophilia. the usage of "dark fic" within those circles is merely to avoid accountability and to avoid any and all criticism.
konigsblog thinks that they cannot be held accountable, as they're writing fiction, but when you look at genuinely dark novels from across the spectrum, you can see that they're nothing like whatever abhorrent fiction that konigsblog write. let me give you some examples:
in the Red Dragon trilogy by Thomas Harris, Mason Verger (an incestuous pedophilic rapist) is never written to be seen as someone who is desirable or whose actions are anything but disgusting. Hannibal Lecter (a cannibalistic serial killer) even says this openly several times that Verger is, essentially, a piece of shit.
in American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis, Patrick Bateman (a misogynistic, homophobic, racist serial killer who sexually assaults several women before killing them) is never written to be seen as someone who you want to be near or want to know. he is written as a depraved, disgusting, human being, and is treated accordingly - the novel is written from his POV, but Ellis makes it clear that his actions are VILE.
in Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov, the male lead (a pedophilic rapist) is routinely written in a way of which makes audiences DESPISE him and his actions as much as they do his ideology and his thought processes surrounding a child. Nabokov makes it clear that rape and pedophilia are something that should be condemned and can NEVER be something romantic or appealing in the slightest. (side note: Nabokov was a piece of shit who wanted Russia to colonise Ukraine, so he wasn't exactly a good guy anyway)
in The 120 Days of Sodom, Marquis De Sade makes it clear that the rapists and pedophiles within the novel are awful people and he makes it explicit in their actions as well as the way of which they speak; you are not supposed to side with them, or to feel anything except disgust and horror that someone can commit such atrocious acts without having a second thought. the rape scenes are written to PURPOSEFULLY make you (the reader) feel disgust and to feel hatred for these characters.
do you see the difference?
dark novels surrounding topics such as pedophilia, rape and incest are written in a way of which does NOT condone these actions and does NOT treat them as desirable or as material used for one to masturbate to. whereas what konigsblog writes is explicitly written to be the opposite - its written to be desirable, to be something that you (the reader) should find attractive and WANT, it's written for you to masturbate to.
how abhorrent can you be that you would sit there and try to condone such vile and depraved writings? how apathetic towards your fellow man can you be to engage with this?
and there's no point in saying "Well, don't like, don't read" - no. because this is genuinely harmful material of which promotes and fetishises the most abhorrent and morally bankrupt acts known to mankind. this is genuinely harmful, its not a kink that people aren't into and is tagged properly (bc konigsblog RARELY tags accordingly), it is taking the WORST thing that can happen to somebody and turning it into pornography.
if you engage with or even support konigsblog, you do not support or care for rape, incest and abuse survivors - you do not. and don't try and pretend that you do. so many survivors routinely, openly and honestly, talk about how rape pornography, especially in fanfiction circles, is abhorrent and should NEVER be celebrated, engaged with, or supported - and its a travesty that we have to keep doing it and we have to keep saying "no, stop it, this is harmful".
if konigsblog continues to produce these works, and continues to improperly tag and continues to expose these themes as desirable and attempts to normalise this - it is going to hurt people. it is going to cause someone to actually get hurt.
