This book has some of the hottest smut I have ever read in my life, but it is so much more than that. These loveable losers had me feeling all of the emotions as I read about their found family and their love for each other. Genuinely Harley Laroux has found a fan for life with this series. I'm never gonna stop thinking about this and I'm starting part 2 right now. 😍

As with the first book, I did find I read this slower in the first half than I do with most books. I think that's simply due to there being more details and world building that's being done and my brain wants to soak it all in. I'm now joining the rest of the internet in being Rhys obsessed and I will take no comments. The last half of this book is just absolute perfection and has me to ready for the next book (which won't be on my Kobo for FIVE MORE WEEKS 😤)

I absolutely loved this read! It contained some of my absolute fave romance tropes and though it wasn't the main focus, there was still plenty of smut. 😌 Also the age difference here was totally respectable with the FMC being 23 and the MMC being 28
