The Original World and The Alternate World of Arisa

?: ......

?: Arisa, huh.

Same name, same face. What a joke, a man thought as he looks up to the ceiling as he lies his body on his bed. The fluffy texture of the bed relaxed his body, yet, it still cannot erase the bitterness that lingers on his mind. That Demon... he must be laughing at me in his own ‘world’ right now.

[And it’s true. The Demon the man referred to is laughing at him right now. But ‘Demon’? He is a bit offended that his best friend referred him to that.]

?: Arisa...

?: ....no. None of my business. This world and that Arisa are not my business.

[Are you sure?]

Not that the man did actually hear that voice, yet, it stuck on his mind on its own to ponder.

[Kaito, my dear friend. How much fun would it be for me to watch you if you did actually involve yourself to that Arisa?]

Kaito: ...

[Oh right, this world Arisa also has an acquaintance named ‘Kaito’ too. Though unfortunately it’s not you. Haha. But they are close, y’know? Bearing the same name, wouldn’t it make you happy?]

Kaito: ...

Kaito: I really can feel that guy is making fun of me right now...

He sighed as he closed his eyes to get rid of the image of that Demon’s smirking face.

But then, her face is coming up into his mind instead.

Arisa of the Alternate World.

Same Name. Same Face.

It irritates him.

Forget about her. She is not your Arisa. Your Arisa is long dead. He said to himself over and over again. And yet, he couldn’t. Her mere similar existence brings both joy and his nightmare back. This must be that Demon’s prank. Stop messing around and die already.

[I am though? Well, at least in your Original World. Hahaha.]

Kaito: ...

To think he would actually find a similar existence. Moving to another World still binds him to ‘Arisa’ somehow.

‘Ichikawa Arisa’.

The Arisa of this Alternate World he moved to.

He knows nothing of her. Nothing. He didn’t even want to know how she actually looks like. He just happened to see her. That’s all. He doesn’t want to know deeper. They might look similar, they might be actually the same person, but it doesn’t matter and he doesn’t care. He just, doesn’t want to get in touch with her anymore. Be it Arisa in the Original World that already perished nor Arisa in the Alternate World he resides now.

Arisa of the Original World.

His Original World. It is long gone now. He might be some kind of immortal, but if the world is destroyed then he would die too. His world perished because his wicked friend was playing around too much. So then, he moved to other World as the lone survivor. He referred the new World he resides now as ‘Alternate World’.

[Hey, don’t go pushing all the blame to me~!]

Kaito: ... [sigh]

In any case, he is an abnormality in the Alternate World. He knows better not to make trouble unlike his wicked friend, especially since in this World who has no people like him who can do ‘stuffs’, therefore, he stays as low as possible. He may feel curious with the new World but at least he would take easy on it. Just a bit travelling then a long nap would be enough. There is nothing to be worried about. He is confident that no one in this Alternate World could take him down. This time, he will create a quiet place and spend his time peacefully until he decided his own time of death.

...or at least, that is what he hoped so.

Unfortunately, his wicked friend’s friend made a contact to the Alternate World, and it made quite influence.

What was his name in this Alternate World again? Oh. Andrew. Yeah. Him.

Andrew didn’t create a big fuss but it was still annoying anyway.

He didn’t know if it was Andrew’s influence or his wicked friend’s influence.... but not long after that, Arisa is born to this Alternate World.

...how frustrating.

In any case, he doesn’t want to get involved. She knows nothing of him, and he knows nothing of her. That is just right.

And so, he tried to take a nap.

A nap that he hoped by the next time he woke up, the girl called Arisa in this Alternate World is long dead.

...

[A~ah. Kaito ran away. Taking a nap to escape, how very like him.]

[How long would it be this time? 100, 200 years? Heh, he wishes. The longest he could sleep would be, 1 year this time? Haha. As long as you are conscious of her, you shall wake up soon, my friend.]

[Even though that Arisa of the Alternate World is different from Arisa of the Original World, either way, both of them are indeed part of Her. You cannot escape. Haha~.]

Her.

[Ah, my love. I wonder how the new you in the Alternate World would play out. I miss you so much to the point I decided to break my own rules and visited you. Hahaha~.]

[Oh, hello there, people who read this~.]

[We are buddies as we are watching Arisa together, heh.]

[Unfortunately, you guys only know Arisa of the Alternate World.]

[Do you want to know the story of Arisa of the Original World? Or the story of my loved one?]

[Oh, wait~. You did see a glimpse of Arisa of the Original World. Fera also knows a little about her too~.]

[Heh, one day you might get to know her full story too.]

[May~be. Most likely, never lol.]

[Or when I got bored, I might drop by again. At that time, maybe I would reminiscence the time of the Original World~.]

[I should also introduce my friend, Kaito, to you guys too, heh?]

[He is completely different from the guy with codename;NoName that you guys know. They don’t even look alike.]

[He hasn’t made appearance in Just a Fate at all. Later he might be mentioned once or twice, but most likely still won’t make an appearance. Heh, so boring. He really tried his hardest to avoid her. Should I do something about it? Hahaha~.]

[I mean, anything is possible after all~! You have seen Arisa with other guys in AU, right? Hehe, how fun would it be to mess up with him~. And that rational Arisa of the Alternate World reaction when she meets an actual immortal who is actually the inspiration of NN’s real name and the killer of her other self in the Original World? AH~ the suspense!]

GENERAL WORLD-BUILDING

Timeline for my 3 fics as they are actually connected.

[MoF fic] -> [JF (prequel) ] -> JF]

[MoF] and [JF] are actually different Universe that got connected. As whether it was the same Planet of different Universe…It’s possible to be the same Earth, but it can also be completely different Planet. It doesn’t really matter tbh as long as it’s habitable.

[MoF] setting is a fantasy world where magic and mythical race exists. The main plot of this story is the conflict between 2 main major races—Titanian and Dominion. However the conflict was so bad that the whole Planet got destroyed as they were the strongest races who got blessing from the Planet itself that the damage they had done to the Planet is irrecoverable.

The sole survivor from all of this destruction is Kaito. He was a Human, part of many races trying their best to survive from the harsh nature and the conflict between Titanian and Dominion. They have alliance with Titanian but in general it’s simply because Human is a neutral race who strives survivability—and it just happened that Titanian is not openly ruthless as Dominion.

While Kaito was indeed Human, his body was heavily corrupted by a certain Dominion that he might as well be Dominion at this point. Now he’s basically immortal—never dying unless killed by someone or intentionally ended his own life by himself.

In the destruction of the Planet beyond saving, he tried to take a refuge to another world—and he ended up in Earth. Now this is the world where [Just a Fate] taking place.

At this time of Earth, it was still the law of jungle and civilization has not yet advanced. Supernatural forces still exist too. The Earth deemed Kaito as a threat from another realm, but after saw the records of the destruction of the Planet where Kaito came from—it has decided to remove all of supernatural factors from its own as it has understood that the biggest factor how Planet can be destroyed is because the strong synchronization between nature and creatures living within it which allows supernatural phenomena.

The Earth then welcomed Kaito as its Visitor to the Planet. In exchange to stay in the Planet, Kaito reached agreement not to interfere much with the current world with the power from his world—only allowed to be used for the sake of Planet’s balance when needed.

Kaito, who only wants to chill in quiet to pass the time, created a realm from inside the Earth as his base.

As supernatural factors by the nature mostly disappeared from Earth and it started to be dominated by humans advancing to modern civilization, he realized that there are still supernatural factors by his world influence around the Earth.

Not wanting to be complained by the Earth in the future—he decided to personally take them into his realm and created a clan who can use the power from his previous world to control the leak influence. This clan is called Dark Clan.

In modern world, Dark Clan is simply known as assassination group—but their true goal is to stay hidden as the strongest human group in the Earth and to eliminate any left supernatural factors that might threaten the world.

Ok I think the biggest thing that I want to let out is about;

Who Arisa ended up with?

Ah yes…back then it was so much fun to see my friends doing shipping war. I love you guys!

I made a bunch of AU ver of who Arisa ended up with so basically she can be anyone! I want to see Arisa with everyone like in otome game! But in actual long ass story that I wrote for more than 40 chapters I know I should decided the end game for Just a Fate.

I think I should let it out before I die ｡ﾟ(ﾟﾉ∀`ﾟ)ﾟ｡

Ok so, between the 2 main known candidates (actually it’s 3 if you saw the tags but weelllll) aka LaFate and NoName….

The endgame is NoName! ∑(ﾟДﾟ)

So in the proper Just a Fate (that I intended), Arisa ended up with NN lmaoooooo.

Tbh even I was surprised at myself for deciding NN to be the end game. When I first wrote this story I was planning for LaFate to be the end game. I WROTE THE FIC FOR HIM. I LOVE LF.

But then as I write the story, NN ended up being the one who is closer to Arisa’s heart? I didn’t mean for this!! But it just happened so naturally.

Okay…… why not LF?

LF and Arisa sure had special connection from back then. Yeah. Had. However Arisa feels like she isn’t the same person as her past and she slowly let go of that fact as spend her time with NN despite mistaking NN as LF from the past.

LF loves Arisa to death. He might look like he was trapped within the past but even in the present he sincerely loves the new Arisa. In fact in any AU, LF will still love Arisa. His fate is Arisa even if Arisa’s fate is not always with him. Tragically romantic.

So between LF or NN, it was simply Arisa’s choice.

Ok as I wrote this I feel bad for about LF lmaoooo don’t worry guys the universe is vast so ofc there will be another universe with LF as end game too! Heck! We can go 3P LF-Arisa-NN too!

That aside, yeah, the end game for that long ass fic I wrote ended up becoming NN.

Unlike LF who 100% devoted to Arisa in any universe, NN specifically falls in love with Arisa ONLY in this particular universe. That man is a bastard. He was playing with Arisa as he knows that LF is smitten to Arisa then NN used that as his advantage to make LF suffer. But as he does that, he ended up actually fallen in love with Arisa. Unfortunately he be like coming clean in the worst possible way….

NN: yeah I deceived you so I can make LF suffer!

Arisa: -shock-

NN: but that’s already in the past! I love you for real now!

Arisa: -way too shocked to listen to the rest of NN’s words-

Yeah……NN be like that. Cannot read the mood. At least he’s honest so that’s good(?)

Surprisingly tho, NN is actually truly a good friend of Arisa in any other timeline. In Just a Fate he only hold romantic feeling because it was a twisted surprise that he ended up falling in love for real as he flirted Arisa to make LF suffer. But other than that, he doesn’t hold that much attention to Arisa if she didn’t focus on him either. For example in Michael’s route, LF still loves Arisa but as Arisa ended up with Michael—NN doesn’t have the need to directly make LF suffer anymore. He’s just watching with popcorn lol. But in general, NN eventually does get a little soft spot for Arisa and Arisa herself likes NN’s bluntness so nevertheless they became good friends! In fact, their relationship is like that siblings who always fight and prank but cannot deny that they don’t dislike each other that much and cannot helped but care when the other side need it. The fact that Arisa is getting along with NN whether romantically or not will always make LF jealous lololol.

So to make LF jealous and suffer more, I do actually have another strong love candidate for Arisa. Maybe I wrote this story just to make LF suffer….

Ok so Just a Fate might seem like it’s NN vs LF but in fact there’s strong candidate. And that’s….1stDark aka Han!

You: ok Azu you already wrote 1stD route before what’s so special about it?

Me: WELL HE’S MORE SPECIAL THAN ANYONE IN TERM OF LORE

1stD is actually VERY IMPORTANT character that hold the key of world building of Just a Fate lore. Yeah it wasn’t revealed yet so it will make you ???

If I had the actual willpower to write the next chapter, I could actually start the arc that will explain the lore of JF world (I’m getting tired to type Just a Fate so I will shortened it now). If Arisa goes deeper about her own family, she will eventually go deep with 1stD’s existence.

Tbh 1stD feels like the hidden route of JF. If NN and LF are like the main poster of the story, 1stD is like the hidden setting that makes up the world history.

….now that I think about it, each characters in JF got hidden connection to the world lore. But I specifically mentioned 1stD because he is the important character in lore setting and he with Arisa got special troupe that I love.

If I were to describe the relationship…

NN-Arisa is moving on from the painful past into the bright future. LF-Arisa is the precious past continues to the bright future.

Then 1stD-Arrisa is holding each other hands as facing toward the painful past, painful present, and unknown future.

….yeah. It sounds dark isn’t it (not intentional pun). I will probably make a post about 1stD in details later. I love his complicated setting hehe.

P.S for Remy-neesan if you ever read this; I was so surprised you made NN as ML in your fic!! Lmao! Once again I’m so honored to be part of your fic. I really love the dynamic of my characters in your story. AND I’M STILL NOT RECOVERING FROM THE TWIST U GAVE TO ME. I swear if I wrote JF to make LF suffer, you wrote to make NN suffer. NN is such a good guy in ur fic….I’m so touched…… /plak
