i love going back to the roblox oof video at occasional intervals to scroll the comments section and get the latest tommy tallarico news. the latest includes:
he didnt work on any of sonic and the black knight's music, it was jun senoue rearranging some songs that one of tommy's employees wrote for other games previously. in even his most recent 'verified' video game composition credit is him just stealing credit as per usual
he didnt work on any of earthworm jim's music, that was mark miller, he just replaced mark's name with his own in the credits on later special edition releases
he recently was found to be selling off sheet music a composer (laura intravia) made for video games live to other orchestra shows with no permission given without ever having consulted her, so safe to say he is still managing to make money stealing other peoples' compositional work
he doesnt play his guitar at vglive shows, its unplugged and he's miming playing over other peoples' recordings
he never drove a lambo, the car shown in his house tour video was a pontiac fiero with a shitty lambo body kit

randomly remembering the time in 2012 when everyone kept saying the world was going to end at midday that day and like, i didnt really believe it, but i didnt want to be a complete fool if i was wrong, so i excused myself from class to go sit the field and perfectly timed the beat drop to a skrillex song just in case something happened. and im just. retroactively amused by the idea of ushering in the appocalypse with skrillex. most 2012 thing you could possibly do.

So I have to travel to go to the hospital for an appointment on the 29th but I feel like absolute shit and don't wanna go. If I don't I'll regret it. I want to disappear. I'm a failure but part of my mental health problems will HOPEFULLY get better after I start w T. I might never start. They might not let me start. My family is worried, I feel like they hate me. I dont know if I push people away or if they just leave me behind. No one cares. Someone cares. I want to scream and die.

i think one of my biggest annoyances when it comes to media "critique" is when a work leaves smth intentionally ambiguous or unclear and everyone is like, "um its a major plothole that they didnt fully explain [thing]. they didnt tell us exactly what [thing] meant and it was confusing"
as if smth being confusing is inherently bad. sometimes u will be asked to think abt smth presented in a work and to come up w/ ur own interpretation. the work not spelling everything out for you isnt a failure on the works part, and not understanding smth instantly isnt a failure on ur part either. instead of being like, "that was confusing, so the work is bad"
it might be better to ask, "did i miss something? what was the point of leaving this ambiguous? how did leaving this up to interpretation serve the work's purpose?"
