Does Botox help with sweating on the face?
Tumblr media
Do beads of sweat pour over your forehead while you are at your work place? Or has streaming facial sweat gotten in the way of your success at work? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may suffer from excessive sweating of the face, head, or scalp. Facial sweating is a common problem and can be even more stressful and embarrassing than other types of excessive sweating.
Even people who sweat heavily from other body areas may find that it's their facial sweating that bothers them the most. That's because our faces are how we present ourselves to the rest of the world, and we cannot hide the effects of excessive sweating on the face. If your doctor determines that your extreme sweating is independent of other medical conditions or medications, then it's called primary hyperhidrosis and the hyperhidrosis treatment plan will be similar to that used for other body areas of excessive sweating. For example, products used on the skin at the area of sweating (topical solutions) should be tried first. If topical antiperspirant solutions don't work or are too irritating, onabotulinumtoxin A (commonly known as Botox) injections may be recommended. Usually, botox for hyperhidrosis face takes two to seven days for you to stop sweating in the treated area. It can take two weeks for total dryness.
A potential side effect of Botox injections in the face as a treatment for sweating is asymmetry, particularly of the forehead. This can happen if some of the Botox diffuses into the facial muscles. Such asymmetry, however, is temporary and can, if necessary, be balanced-out by additional Botox injections. Working with an experienced dermatologist can minimize these risks. It has also been used in cosmetics to improve the appearance of expression lines by temporarily paralyzing the muscles responsible for causing them. It does this by blocking neurotransmitters that tell muscles to contract. The same process is employed in a bid to stop sweat, but the Botox is injected into the skin rather than the muscle to prevent the same neurotransmitters from activating our sweat glands
Not only hyperhidrosis of face but there are other age-related changes that causes fine-lines, furrows on the forehead, and folds around the mouth. The aging process generally causes a loss of volume in fatty tissue as the underlying collagen and elastin fibers begin to deteriorate. This most commonly occurs around the eyes, mouth, cheeks, the jaw line, the brow, and bridge of the nose. Volumizing the face with a variety of soft tissue fillers are now available that can be injected into the skin to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, plump lips, fill out hollow cheeks, improve scars, elevate deep folds, and repair various facial imperfections. The result is a smoother, more youthful appearance with minimal “downtime” and maximum safety. Since filler substances do not involve major surgery, and are generally cost-effective, men and women are using these youth enhancing techniques more than ever.

Treatment Guide for Hair
Tumblr media
Some people are born with hair that looks like it's straight out of a shampoo commercial, and some, well, are jealous of that. Regardless of whatever hair type your mama gave you, every texture comes with its own set of pros and cons.
Volumizers for hair are used to temporarily add volume, body and shine to thin and flat hair. They are used by both men and women. Men look out for hair volumizers to make their hair look denser.  , there are loads of volumizing hair products such as shampoos, conditioners, sprays and lotions etc. that you can buy from the market and which helps you to resuscitate your lifeless hair.
Hair volumizers contain humectants, which functions by attracting moisture from the surrounding areas to the hair strand, thereby swelling the hair and making it look thicker. Various polymers present in the volumizer coat the hair strand, making it look thicker and shiny.
Many of us today suffer from a lack of oxygen due to air pollution, lack of exercise, shallow breathing and poor diets. As our cells are deprived of this vital element, our immune systems are weakened and cells become more susceptible to stress and infections. Like all other skin on our body, the scalp also needs to breathe. A lack of oxygen affects all cells, including hair cells and can cause premature hair thinning and hair loss. And since our hair is rooted in the scalp, a healthy scalp is important. Healthy hair is partially a result of sufficient supply of oxygen to the hair. Oxygen encourages a healthy scalp that generates growth of strong and healthy hair
Hair oxygen treatment is a procedure that can help protect the natural hair from damage and prevent hair loss. This treatment is a revolutionary procedure that uses the powerful actions of oxygen combined with natural plant’s stimulants. This therapy helps to clean, nourish, and deeply oxygenate the scalp and hair. The main advantages of the therapy include:
·         Revitalizes damaged and weak hair
·         Promotes healthier hair
·         Covers damages caused due to unhealthy bleaching, coloring, use of dyes etc.
·         Helps in making the hair stronger and thicker
·         Relieves issues like dandruff, dry hair, itchy scalp etc.
This treatment will provide you with immediate results. Your scalp and hair will be conditioned and balanced and your hair will become softer with a more natural shine. Long term benefits will become noticeable with a continuous program of treatments.

How to take care of the skin on the neck?
Tumblr media
Skincare has become the need of the hour. People care a little more than before for their skin, hair and health. Today people take efforts, spend time and money to look and feel healthier and better. They are spending hours at the gym, salon, and dermatologist, all to look at their best. When it comes to skincare we have a skincare routine with all those amazing creams, serums, moisturizers, etc. But what about the neck? The skin on the neck is the thinnest and needs as much as care as your face does. We end up ignoring the neck the most. We buy those special lotions and butters for hands and feet, but what about your neck? Let’s discuss the skin on the neck
The signs of aging, uneven skin tone, pigmentation, etc. shows up on the neck rather than other body part. The skin on the neck is sensitive and thinnest just like the skin around the eyes. There is a lot of friction as we use the neck to move our head. The neck lines make you look older. Most of them avoid to take care of the neck until they see the signs of aging or pigmentation on the neck. This way they end up ignoring all the prevention methods. Botox for anti-aging treatment is best for neck. The skin on the neck is fragile as it has less sebaceous glands due to which it easily dehydrates and becomes dry. Dry skin means sensitive. Moreover, your neck exposed to the UV rays, pollution, etc.
Tips on how to take care of the skin on the neck
1.       Hydrate your neck really well
2.       Everything that goes on your face should go on your neck
3.       Be it face-wash, cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen, night cream, etc.
4.       Do not scrub it too harsh you may worsen the pigmentation
5.       Make sure you moisturize it regularly
6.       The direction of massage for the neck skin is a very important.
7.       Move both your palms from lower to upper region in vertical movements. Nowadays volumizing facelift is very common.
8.       Don’t ever massage your neck in circular motions or from top to bottom.
9.       Oils also help overcome dryness. Apply some coconut oil with water.
10.   Use mild exfoliator
11.   Avoid harsh soaps on neck
The neck being most sensitive needs enough care. As you age you will come across neck lines which may make you look older than your age. There are many treatments you can get done at the doctor’s clinic, they are safe and proven. Every cream that goes on the face should go on the neck. A combination of Peels, Botox and energy based devices like Thermage to treat your neck lines. Few people have heavy neck for which you can treat with a combination of Ultherapy with Botox to tighten the skin. Ultherapy skin lifting works amazingly. If you simply have a dehydrated neck you can opt just for PRP.
You can prevent your neck from looking older than the actual age just by following the simple step of hydrating, moisturizing and protecting the skin.

Why you should have a skincare routine
Tumblr media
Skin is the largest organ. It’s like a dress you wear all your life. Today people have realised the importance of taking care of themselves. The awareness of self-care and self-love has grown drastically. People are at the gym working out for hours, making sure their diet is on place and the skin is glowing. Today, in the world Instagram and filters we all thrive for crystal clear skin. Well, thankfully we don’t care about the complexion much as we have learnt to be comfortable in our skin tone. And that is important. An acne or a little fat in the sides cannot lower your confidence. It is important to take care of yourself not to change yourself but to enhance and maintain yourself.
It’s always a great idea to invest in a healthy lifestyle and skin. Your skin speaks your age. And none of us would like to look older than our age. In this century of pollution, UV rays, smoking, hectic lifestyle, stress, unhealthy lifestyle, etc. contribute towards the damage of skin. This speeds up aging and makes one look older than their actual age. Therefore, it is important to take care of what you have and maintain it well.
To start with, firstly know your skin type. Check whether if it is oily, dry or combination skin type. If you don’t know, do go to an expert skin care treatment clinic or DIY at home. Before you go to sleep, wash your face. Don’t apply any cream or anything. Sleep with room at normal temperature without the a/c on. Next morning as soon as you wake up tap with your fingers and check your face. If it feels dry, stretchy and itchy that means you have dry skin. If it is dry all over and oily in the T-zone you have a combination skin type. And if it is oily and sticky all over then you have oily skin type. On the basis on this you will be choosing everything that goes on your face. From the moisturizer to your foundation everything depends on your skin type. So, make sure you get it right. It’s never too late to start
1.      Cleanse your face at least thrice a day
2.      Start with the right face wash
3.      Step by step apply the thinnest products first, go in the following sequence. - Toner - Serum - Moisturizer - Sunscreen
4.      If you are using nourishing cream like moisturizer or serum use it well, take a nice big drop of it. Don’t spread it all over your hands and apply. Just use two fingers and dab dab and apply smoothly all over your face.
5.      If you are using any medicated or treatment cream like an acne cream or anti-aging cream use it very little, it might irritate your skin. Dab it on the affected area. For anti-aging cream use it lightly like a moisturizer.
6.      Sun-screen a spoonful works, if not apply enough to protect yourself from UV rays
7.      At the end of the day, take your makeup off no matter how late or tired.
8.      Cleanse your face, apply a lot of moisturizer, the under eye cream and sleep well. If you are looking for any under eye dark circles treatment, then there are some amazing fillers which help you stay free from dark circles for a year or more.
Once a week you should pamper yourself by with facials. There are some amazing anti-aging facial massage you should try. Exfoliate once a week. Don’t go too harsh. Use hydrating masks. There are lovely ones you can pick at the counter. Go ahead, have a dedicated skincare ritual and love yourself.

Body Skincare
Tumblr media
We all apply loads of things on our face. We have a skincare routine. We make sure we wash our face thrice a day. We apply moisturizer, serums, sunscreen, under-eye dark circles cream, a lip balm, etc. etc. the list just goes on. At night, we again make sure our face is clean and apply the night cream. We also have our cleansing, toning and moisturizing routine. Also every week we pamper our face with masks, exfoliation and hydrate it well. But for body what do we really do? Luckily the neck gets some privileges. All the creams slightly slide to your neck. But how well do you care for it?
Let’s start from the top. The hair is taken care of by regular hair wash and regular oiling sessions are enough to keep it clean and healthy. Make sure if you have dandruff it is treated. Do go to an expert as dandruff can lead to acne and allergies. Know the difference between flaky dry scalp and dandruff. You can take supplements if needed. Do consult an expert. PRP is the best hair growth treatment.
Neck is the most neglected area. The skin here is the thinnest and needs to be taken care of. Apply all those lovely creams and protecting creams on your neck too. Botox for neck lines works well. Do not scrub your neck. The darkness is not tan. You will just worsen it if you exfoliate harshly. Botox treatment for frown lines. Back, if has acne which is a common problem needs expert guidance. Treat it before you worsen it. Don’t shy away from wearing backless dresses. You own it all. Hands – very important to keep your hands clean and moisturized. Because you keep touching millions of things and have millions of germs which go to your face when you touch it. Your hands speak about your age. Keep them hydrated. Darkening of elbows is another common issue. Peels work best for it. Do exfoliate your hands once a week. For collagen best is micro needling for collagen rejuvenation.
Under arms can be treated with laser hair reduction and darkening can be sorted with peels and other treatments depending on the cause of darkening. Also, botox works best for excessive sweating.
What applies to your hands applies to legs as well. Exfoliate once a week, apply foot cream. They are exposed the post. Protect with sun-screen.  Your bikini area is sensitive and most important area. You cannot apply anything and everything. Waxing can have its own side effects and lead to more issues. Keep it clean and dry. If there is irritation do check with the doctors. Don’t shy away from discussing the problems.
Therefore, make sure you follow these simple tips and take care of your body and not just your skin.
