It's 2021.
8 months in the new year and I find myself holding the shovel that buried all the things I carried with me up until 2020.
I'm holding the shovel looking down. I'm holding the shovel wondering if I put enough soil to totally leave behind the toxic relationships, the emotional immaturity, the ignorance, my naivety, and my inability to say no to people - just to please them. I
I'm also wondering if I buried enough. There's so much I want to move on from and leave behind. I'm hoping it's left and it stays in the years before 2021.
Because it's 2021, I deserve more than just "better". I deserve to define it. So I am.

Mom’s Professional Advice
A couple of weeks ago, my mom and I had our usual conversations on our ride home from work. I opened up to her that my dream has shifted into just practicing in clinics to speaking and sharing knowledge to people.
My mom sighed and said, “You know that’s wrong. You shouldn’t dream of speaking in front of people- you should aim for having something to share and talk to them about.”
And to be honest, thats one of the most precious advices I’ve ever heard. She was right. I’ve only been working for over a year and while, I have done a lot- I know that I still have a long way to go and grow professionally. One day, I hope to achieve this dream of mine to have grown enough, and have substantial knowledge and credibility to speak infront of crowds and share all that I have learned.

Bitterness does not equate to not moving on or being unable to let go. Sometimes, bitterness simply means:
Wanting what someone else has, and having strong feelings of envy towards that someone because of it. No, not the person- but the feeling rather.
Think of it this way:
When you were a kid, you wanted a barbie. But that barbie doll you wanted so much just happened to be sold out. And then you see a kid with the same barbie doll- and you start bickering because she has what you dont.
: IT ISNT THAT YOU WANTED THE BARBIE DOLL SHE’s HOLDING. YOU WANTED A BARBIE DOLL THAT’s SIMILAR TO WHAT SHE’s HOLDING. Because what she’s holding is probably the same brand, same design and model. But its not the only one. You just want the model- and it could be any model in that design and brand- just not necessarily the one she’s holding.
In life you want this product called “Love”. And each love is different. You just want the model “Love” but that love doesn’t necessarily need to come from any specific person. You just want to have it regardless of the person giving it to you.
It doesn’t necessarily have to be “him” (your dream guy) that loves you. You just want to be loved.
YOU HAVE MOVED ON. YOU’RE JUST BITTER.
Thats the honest truth.
