The many nicknames of Guan Shan (but they are in Chinese).
1. è«ć
łć±± (MĂČ GuÄnshÄn)
Full name, with:
âMoâ as his surname
âGuanâ as middle name
âShanâ as his first name.
His mom calls him Guan Shan, it seems.
2. çșąæŻ (hĂłng mĂĄo) - Red hair / Redhead
This is the nickname he is commonly referred to as by other people, based on his most notable trait - the red hair.
3. Donât Close Mountain
English word-by-word (?) translation of his name lmao, given by He Tian:
è«: do not
ć
ł: close, shut
ć±±: mountain, hill
4. è«ä» (MĂČ zÇi)
Frequently used by He Tian to address Guan Shan.
ä» is a suffix placed after a name or title, used endearingly or humorously among young people. Popular in Cantonese dialect.
Its English equivalent would be âLittle Moâ.
5. ć°è«ä» (xiÇo MĂČ zÇi)
ć° is a prefix used to indicate familiarity among young people. Kinda like ä», but itâs more common in Mandarin.
Similarly, its English translation is also âLittle Moâ.
It is often used by He Tian as a nickname for Guan Shan.
6. è«è«ä» (MĂČmĂČ zÇi)
Used once in the Christmas special article.
Doubling the surname (è«è«) is also a way to create an intimate nicknames among people who have close relationship (friends, family, lovers). Also, not forgetting to add the ä» lmao.
The English translation is âLittle Momoâ.
7. æŻä» (MĂĄo zÇi)
A trivial detail that is easily overlooked, He Tian called Guan Shan by this nickname once during the brawl with the gang.
As explained, æŻ means âhair, furâ, and ä» is âlittleâ. In the end, you should getâŠ
âŠLittle Hair.
8. Not really a nickname, but He Tian did call Guan Shan ć°çșąæŻ once.
The English translation would be âLittle Redheadâ or âLittle Red hairâ.

Also, can we talk about Eclipsa?
Solaria, to put it lightly, was a genocidal maniac who sought out to destroy all monsters, despite this, Eclipsa grows up to be one of, if not the most tolerant queen of her time.
She runs off with Globgor and they both agree to pacifism with Globgor becoming a vegetarian. None of her actionâs in the whole series were ever inherently violent or malicious, she abandoned her throne because of the social taboos of her time which prevented her relationship.Â
She and her husband are crystallised for centuries and separated from their daughter who is forced to grow up in a home of abuse where she was taught to hide her half monster parts.Â
Throughout the whole ordeal, Eclipsa is non-violent and tries to reason with her daughter, she stops Moon who attacked Meteora when she was just getting through to her. At no point does she try to hurt moon she just tries to protect her daughter.Â
She doesnât attempt to get revenge on the high commission or take back the throne, only resorting to using magic when she has no other choice.
Even when sheâs betrayed by Moon, there is little hesitance, prioritising her people and her family over her clear right to the throne
and even after that she just lets it goÂ
Finally, in that last episode, we see this
Solaria sees her half-monster granddaughter, smiles and fades away, the woman who spent her entire life trying to kill monsters, accepts her and Eclipsa gets closure from a mother who was so disapproving of herÂ
Iâm glad she gets a happy ending because she deserves itÂ

Jumin Week - Day 2 - Friendship
I know this was supposed to be a happy prompt, but whenever the word âfriendshipâ comes up as far as Jumin is concerned, his greatest friend was VâŠand he was, by far, one of his greatest losses.
I could only imagine what Jumin might have felt to see his beloved friend, lifeless, inside the inner sanctum of Mint Eye. I could see how he would have regretted not acting on things soon enough, of not seeing through what V was trying to hide. I could see him thinking that only he was a little more persistent, he could have saved his friend. :(
