I was hesitant t' answer this, but I s'pose words ain't gonna bite.
Th' simplest answer is yes, o' course I do. Th' more complicated answer, t' th' question I'm sure you're really askin', is did I /know/ my kids. DO I know my kids. Are th' kids I remember even close t' who they must be now, or even who they were back then.
My shameful answer is "probably not."
I want to, I never wanted t' think o' them as "my kids" instead o' gettin' t' know 'em as people, but time just didn't wait fer me. It ain't gonna wait fer nobody.
My advice t' ya all is this-Know yer kin. Not fer who they are t' YOU, but who they are as people.
