THE TRUTH ABOUT BATTERY RECYCLING!
I'm sure you didn’t realise that batteries are at the heart of the green movement. Here are a few things to think about:
Solar energy and wind energy is stored in batteries before hitting the electric network.
Electric and hybrid cars would not be effective at cutting emissions without batteries to store all that power.
What about the tools allowing us to be productive away from the office — mobile phones, laptops, watches and the like? They’re all powered by batteries. It’s true, batteries don’t have the best reputation. But if we take care of them and recycle like we should, batteries have the power to be a friend of the earth. Is you interest piqued? Read on: http://www.autobin.co.uk/innovations-blog/the-truth-about-battery-recycling/

How to Clean and Care for Your Stainless Steel AutoBins
Tumblr media
Our bins are made from premium, fingerprint resistant stainless steel, however over time they can collect dirt, dust and grime. So here are some tips on how to clean your AutoBin.
1. Make sure you use a non-abrasive cloth to clean your bin, we recommend using cloths made out of either micro fibre or cotton.
2. First try cleaning your bin with just warm water and a cloth. In most situations this will be enough to clean your bin. If this works then ensure you dry your bin with a towel or cloth to prevent water marks.
3. If your bin is still dirty then mix together warm water with a drop of mild detergent such as washing up liquid. Then using a cloth, wipe down the dirty area of your bin. After you’ve finished washing off the dirt, rinse and dry your bin to avoid soap and water stains.
4. If you’ve scratched your bin or the stainless steel needs polishing, a stainless steel cleaner can be used. Read the instructions carefully and ensure to rinse & dry your bin afterwards.

One (Rubber) Ring To House Them All.
One of the features of our Autobin products that have had a really positive reaction from our customers is it's 'Magic Ring' – Our premium grade rubber bag retaining ring.
Our rubber ring is something we're particularly proud of. not only does it stop the bag dropping in the bin, the rubber ring can hold any bin liner, meaning that you can stick with the brand of your choice, without having to worry about wasting money on more expensive products.
Not only that, the ring is designed to interact with the bin bag, keeping the bin liner hidden away with a just a simple tuck and fold. Finally when your Autobin is full, and you need to take the waste out, our bin's tapered design is perfect for easy removal of the bag.
Couple that with the brushed stainless steel – fingerproof bin, and our high quality plastic ABS lid, your Autobin will last for a very long time indeed. Of course, if you require it, our rubber rings are also available to order separately if needed.

"We don't need no stinking bins!"
It seems like you can't go through more than 3 TV channels without seeing a program or a news report regarding homes and improvements to make to it. While the likes of DIY SOS and Changing Rooms shout about the benefits of new curtains, a new paint job and new cupboards, most of them don't really  focus on an alternative on the humble bin. It's understandable that they might not focus on the bin and many of us agree with them, for most people their bin is just an ugly metal or plastic monstrocity that takes up a bit of room and is an necessary evil.  However bins are a lot more advanced and stylish than you could possibly imagine. Our electronic bins are a revolution in bin design and we've worked to keep our bins as hygenic as possible to ensure safe waste disposal for your family, your staff or your customers! Whatever you need the bin for. Whether you need a small 2l bin for you kitchen top to put used teabags in or a larger 80l bin for a restaurant, Autobin will supply a bin to you whatever your circumstances or needs. Find out more about our bins and the large number of products we can supply to you by visiting http://autobin.co.uk/
